  • The chromatographic separation of the hexane soluble fraction of the methanol extract of the aerial parts of Solidago virga-aurea var. gigantea Mo. (Compositae) led to the isolation of a new benzylbenzoate (1) together with four known benzylbenzoates (2-5). Their structures were determined as 2-methoxybenzyl-2-hydroxybenzoate (1), benzyl-2-hydroxy-6-methoxybenzoate (2), 2-methoxybenzyl-2,6-dimethoxybenzoate (3), 2-methoxybenzyl-2-methoxy-6hydroxybenzoate (4), and benzyl-2,6-dimethoxybenzoate (5). Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods. Biological effects of compounds, 1 and 2, were investigated in vitro usingherapeutic agents by stimulating macrophage functions, with potential use in the treat mouse peritoneal macrophages. The benzylbenzoates (1 and 2) could serve as immunotherapeutic agents by stimulating macrophage functions, with potential use in the treatment of infectious diseases.

  • To improve the aerodynamic efficiency of Smart Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SUAV), vortex generators and flow fence are applied on the surface and the tip of wing. The initially applied vortex generator increased maximum lift coefficient and delayed the stall angle while it produced excessive increase in drag coefficient. It turns out reduction of the airplane's the lift/drag ratio. The new vortex generators with L-shape and two different height, 3mm and 5mm, were used to TR-S4 configuration to maintain the desired level of maximum lift coefficient and drag coefficient. Flow fence was also applied at the end of both wing tip to reduce the interaction between nacelle and wing when nacelle tilting angles are large enough and produce flow separation. To examine the effect of flow fence, flow visualization and force and moment measurements were done. The variation of the aerodynamic characteristics of SUAV after applying flow control devices are summarized.

  • In this paper, integrated navigation algorithm is designed for land transport sector which is needed high accuracy and monitoring program is developed for lane departure warning. High accuracy position information which is possible lane separation is needed for lane departure warning, so position detection algorithm based GPS/DR which combine GPS with dead reckoning is proposed. For the verification of the designed integrated navigation algorithm, we drived to acquire data and showed post-processing experiment results with monitoring program. Vehicle driving movie and aerial photograph in monitoring program is designed to show lane keeping and lane separation.

  • It is conservative to say that lots of research is performed as measures to use UAV for application to the rapid spatial information and its application is faced with settlement stage to some extent. In addition, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation autonomously produces work regulation which is applied to every kind of orders and National Geographic Information Institute (2018) has notified public surveying work instructions about unmanned aerial device for the rapid spatial information construction. The results acquired by UAV are comprised of contents about accuracy improvements for the orthophoto when reviewing pertinent regulations. The results acquired by UAV are comprised of contents about accuracy improvements for the orthophoto when reviewing pertinent regulations. As a result, it is known that error amount has been sharply increased from 400m separation distance, and this study proposes that cross flight is able to reduce irregular error occurrence as measures to acquire stable results.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the stable flight conditions of drones within a limited urban area by using the ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization) reich model which is using to evaluate civil aircraft stability. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, in order for the drones flying stably, the horizontal safety separation distance between a drone and another should be at least 1,852M. Second, assuming that no obstacles within 1,852M of horizontal space, two drones can be fly into upper and lower spaces. However there are obstacles such as buildings, it is impossible to secure a 1,852M distance between drones. Third, sensitivity analysis point out that the separation interval($s_x$) of drone aviation has the greatest influence on the TLS(Target Level of Safety). If future research is conducted to lower the numerical values, the safety distance between a drone and another drone will be drastically reduced, allowing more detailed urban space division, and will be presented as a scientific numerical value for establishing a dedicated path for the drones.

  • This paper proposes an image stabilization algorithm for close watching UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) using motion separation and stabilization mode. The motion of UAV is composed of its actual navigating motion and unwanted vibrating motion so that image sequences obtained from UAV are shaken randomly. In order to stabilize these images we separate the vibrating motion component from UAV motion and remove the effect caused by it from image sequences. In the proposed algorithm the motion and global intensity change of two consecutive images are modeled with 6 motion parameters and 2 intensity change parameters respectively. These modeled parameters are estimated by non-linear least square method based on Gauss-Newton algorithm. The vibrating motion component is separated from the estimated motion using IIR filtering and the geometric deformation caused by it is removed from image sequences. In order to apply the proposed method to real aerial image sequences with many abrupt changes of camera view, we proposed a stabilizing method using two different modes named as stabilizing and non-stabilizing mode. Experimental results show that the accuracy of motion estimation is 99% and the efficiency of removing the vibrating motion component is 90%. We apply the proposed method to real aerial image sequences and verified its stabilizing performance.

  • This study presents the use of multi-temporal JERS-1 SAR images to the land cover classification. So far, land cover classified by high resolution aerial photo and field survey and so on. The study site was located in Non-san area. This study developed on multi-temporal land cover status monitoring and coherence information mapping can be processing by L band SAR image. From July, 1997 to October, 1998 JERS SAR images (9 scenes) coherence values are analyzed and then classified land cover. This technique which forms the basis of what is called SAR Interferometry or InSAR for short has also been employed in spaceborne systems. In such systems the separation of the antennas, called the baseline is obtained by utilizing a single antenna in a repeat pass
