소형선박용 기적경고신호 수신.경보시스템 개발 (Development of Whistle Signal Reception and Alert System for Small Vessel)

  • In the last 5 years, collisions of fishing vessels have recorded about 54.6% of the total marine accidents. Specially about 64.0% of these collisions were caused by navigator's negligence of watch keeping during works. The purpose of this paper is to develop vessel detecting system that is able to receive the whistle blast of other vessel and make a warning sound and light when the fishermen can not confirm the approaching another vessel on account of fishing works. It is designed to receive the whistle signal blast by a weather tight microphone. The signal is processed by analog active filter in order to enhance the SNR(Signal to noise ratio). And this microprocessor-based system is programmed to do ADC(Analog to digital converting), FFT analysis, controls of warning sound and light.

조기화재 감시시스템을 위한 CO센서의 시그널컨디셔너 성능개선 (Performance Improvement of CO Sensor Signal Conditioner for Early Fire Detection System)

  • This paper presents performance improvement of CO gas sensor signal conditioner for early fire warning system. The warning system is based on the CO sensor and its advanced signal conditioning modules network that employ electochemical gas sensor. The electochemical has advantage of having a linear output and operating with a low consumption and fast response. This electrochemical gas sensor contains a gas membrane and three electrodes(working, counter, reference electrode) in contact with an electrolyte. To use a three-electrode sensor, a voltage has to be applied between the working and the reference electrode according to the specification of the sensor. In this paper, we designed these requirements that should be considered in temperature compensation algorithm and electrode measurement of CO sensor modules by using advanced signal conditioning method included 3-electrode. Simulation and experimental results show that signal conditioner of CO sensor module using 3-electrode have a advantage linearity, sensitivity and stability, fast response etc..

오신호 입력에 따른 펌프의 고장징후 조기감지 성능분석 (Performance Analysis on Early Detection of Fault Symptom of a Pump with Abnormal Signals)

  • As a method to improve the equipment reliability, early warning researches that can be detected fault symptom of an equipment at an early stage are being performed out among developed countries. In this paper, when abnormal signal is input to actual normal signal of a pump, early detection studies on pump's fault symptom were carried out with auto-associative kernel regression as an advanced pattern recognition algorithm. From analysis, correlations among power of motor driving pump, discharge flow of pump, power output of pump, and discharge pressure of pump are exited. When the abnormal signal is input to one of those normal signals, the other expected values are changed due to the influence of the abnormal signal. Therefore, the fault symptom of pump through the early-warning index is able to detect at an early stage.

퍼지 제어 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 후측방 충돌 경보 시스템 (A Study on Rear Lateral Collision Warning System of Vehicle using Fuzzy Control Algorithms)

  • The rear lateral collision warning system using fuzzy control algorithms is discussed in this paper. Common rear lateral warning system has many problems. For example if target vehicle comes into the warning area, it must unconditionally warn. Drivers could be interrupted by it. To solve the problem, I divided measuring area into two sections. One section is blind area of vehicle and the other rear lateral area. For blind area, obtained data was filtered inefficient warning signal by using relative velocity method. For rear lateral area, a fuzzy logic algorithm is used to recognition of obstacles. According to our experiment relative velocity method and fuzzy logic algorithms were very efficient.

  • Since the basic built-in-test, prognostic health management (PHM) has evolved into more sophisticated and complex systems with advanced warning and failure detection devices. Aerospace and military systems, manufacturing equipment, structural monitoring, automotive electronic systems and telecommunication systems are examples of fields in which PHM has been fully utilized. Nowadays, the automotive electronic system has become more sophisticated and increasingly dependent on accurate sensors and reliable microprocessors to perform vehicle control functions which help to detect faults and to predict the remaining useful life of automotive parts. As the complication of automotive system increases, the need for intelligent PHM becomes more significant. Given enormous potential to be developed lays ahead, this paper presents findings and discussions on the trends of automotive PHM research with the expectation to offer opportunity for further improving the current technologies and methods to be applied into more advanced applications.

차량 속도 제한 사전 경보기용 전압 제어 발진기 설꼐 (A Design of a VCO for an Advance Warning System of the Vehicle′s Speed Limitation)

  • 본 논문에서는 PHEMT의 소 신호 산란계수를 이용하여 일본에서 사용하는 X-band 대역의 차량 속도 사전 제한 경보기용(Radar Detector) 전압제어 발진기를 설계 제작하였다. 전압 제어 발진기를 구현하기 위해서 넓은 동조 범위와 직렬저항이 0옴인 바렉터 다이오드를 사용하였고, 트랜지스터의 작동전압과 공진 주파수를 결정하는 마이크로 스트립 선로와 바렉터 소자와의 반사계수를 조정하여 위상잡음은 10kHz 오프셋에서 -85 dBc/Hz, 기본 주파수 신호 출력 크기는 +4.5 dBm, 제2고조파 억제는 -25.6 dEc를 얻었다. 본 논문에서 제작한 샘플이 감도에서 기존 제품들보다 우수한 특성이 나오는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

전방 추돌 경보를 위한 영상 기반 실시간 차량 검출 및 추적 알고리즘 (Vision-based Real-time Vehicle Detection and Tracking Algorithm for Forward Collision Warning)

  • 대부분의 자동차 사고는 졸음운전과 같은 운전자의 부주의로 인해 발생한다. 전방 추돌 경보 시스템 (FCWS)은 전방 차량으로부터 추돌 위험을 감지하여 운전자에게 사전에 경고함으로써 사고의 위험을 현저하게 줄여준다. 본 논문은 주행 안전을 위한 저전력 임베디드 기반 FCWS를 소개한다. 단일 카메라로부터 전방 차량에 대해 검출, 추적, 거리를 계산하고 현재 차량의 속도 정보를 통해 충돌시간 (TTC)을 계산한다. 또한 저성능 임베디드 시스템에서 실시간으로 동작하기 위해 높고 낮은 수준의 프로그램 최적화 기법을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 임베디드 시스템에서 사전에 취득해둔 주행 영상을 통해서 테스트 하였다. 최적화 기법을 사용한 결과는 이전에 최적화를 하지 않은 프로세스 보다 실행 시간이 약 170배 향상되었다.

다기능 전방 카메라 개발을 위한 영상 DB 구축 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Image DB Construction for the Multi-function Front Looking Camera System Development)

  • This paper addresses the effective and quantitative image DB construction for the development of front looking camera systems. The automotive industry has expanded the capability of front camera solutions that will help ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System) applications targeting Euro NCAP function requirements. These safety functions include AEB(Autonomous Emergency Braking), TSR(Traffic Signal Recognition), LDW(Lane Departure Warning) and FCW(Forward Collision Warning). In order to guarantee real road safety performance, the driving image DB logged under various real road conditions should be used to train core object classifiers and verify the function performance of the camera system. However, the driving image DB would entail an invalid and time consuming task without proper guidelines. The standard working procedures and design factors required for each step to build an effective image DB for reliable automotive front looking camera systems are proposed.

  • Long term Electrocardiogram (ECG) [1] analysis plays a key role in heart disease analysis. A combined detection of QRS-complex and P-wave in ECG signal for ubiquitous healthcare system was designed and implemented which can be used as an advanced warning device. The ECG features are used to detect life-threating arrhythmias, with an emphasis on the software for analyzing QRS complex and P-wave in wireless ECG signals at server after receiving data from base station. Based on abnormal ECG activity, the server will transfer alarm conditions to a doctor's Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). Doctor can diagnose the patients who have survived from cardiac arrhythmia diseases.

무선전파막을 이용한 시계 비행항공기의 비행위험지역 회피용 경보장치의 설계 (Design of a Warning System Using Radio Beacon Signal to Avoid Hazardous Area in VFR Mode)

  • 지역 여건상 ILS나 VOR/DME 등 항행안전시설을 이용한 착륙이 곤란한 활주로에서는 조종사가 직접 눈으로 확인하여 착륙하는 선회비행방식이 이용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 김해공항 북측 활주로와 같이 항행안전시설을 설치하지 못하는 공항에 대하여 선회착륙하는 항공기가 악천후등으로 최종적으로 선회해야하는 지점을 발견하지 못하고 통과하여 사고가 발생하는 것을 막기 위하여 선회지점을 벗어난 지점에 무선전파의 전파막, 즉 마커신호로 조종사에게 위험신호를 알려주는 역할을 하는 장비를 개발하기로 한다. 이 경우 항공기에는 별도의 장비를 갖추지 않고 조종사가 별도의 조작을 하지 않아도 경보가 울리도록 하여 조종사의 부담을 최대한으로 줄여야 한다. 이를 만족하기 위해서 ILS의 구성장비로 사용중인 마커를 기반으로 하고, 현재 마커에 사용중인 송신기의 주파수 및 변조방식등을 그대로 이용하고, 변조주파수 및 신호만을 바꾸고, 안테나를 특수한 형태로 개발하기로 한다. 또한 안테나의 방사패턴의 크기를 시뮬레이션하고, 경보후의 비행경로를 계산하여 시스템의 유효성을 검증한다.
