Software Architecture for any given software system is its skeletal framework. That is to say that if this framework does not properly support the system then it would cause more harm than good. Accordingly it is our opinion that choosing the right architecture to realize this framework is a crucial part in creating a successful system. This report discusses a comparative method which utilizes the steps in ATAM to realize architectural decisions and more importantly aide in architectural selection that promotes system success.

본 논문에서는 네트워크 통신으로 생성된 데이터를 분석하여 서버의 부하를 예측함으로 서버의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 모너터링 툴을 설계하였다. 현재 리눅스에서 제공되는 서버 부하 정보는 시스템의 총괄적인 정보에 국한하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제한하는 새로운 부하 정보는 per-connection에 관한 것이다. 서버가 per-connection에 대한 정보를 알 수 있다면 각각의 클라이언트에 대한 정보를 알 수 있어 차별적인 서비스를 제공하는 것과 함께 모든 클라이언트에 대한 균등한 대역폭을 보장할 수 있다. 그래서 본 논문은 기존의 모니터링 툴이 제공하지 않는 Per-connection의 데이터를 얻어 분석을 할 수 있는 CoreMon이라는 툴을 설계하였다.

현재 서비스되고 있는 홈네트워크는 가전기기들에 대한 홈오토메이션 서비스로서 웹이나 TV 등을 통한 메뉴선택 방식으로 제어되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 홈네트워크에 SMS를 통한 대화형 인터페이스를 도입함으로서 시간과 장소의 제약이 없는, 가전기기 제어를 가능하게 하였다. 대화형 인터페이스의 구현을 위해 홈네트워크 영역의 요구분석을 통하여 23개의 화행과 22개의 의미성분으로 이루어진 의미구조를 수립하였으며, WOZ(Wizard-of-OZ)방식으로 9만 6천 대화쌍을 수집하였다. 대화 처리를 위하여 예제기반 대화추론 및 응답생성 방법을 사용하였으며, SMS 영역에서의 성능향상을 위하여 전처리를 도입하였다. 구현된 서비스에 대한 성능평가 실험을 통해 사용자 만족도를 조사하였다.

다양한 네트워크 인터페이스를 탑재한 모바일 기기들이 등장함에 따라 Wi-Fi 및 셀룰라 시스템 등의 이기종 링크를 동시에 사용하는 다중경로 전송 기술 연구가 주목 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 네트워크 환경에서의 동시 다중경로 전송 기술에 대해 소개하고, 최근에 제안된 대표적인 연구에 대해 살펴 봄으로써 향후 기술 발전을 위한 통찰을 제시하고자 한다.

Blur identification is the first and the most important step of restoring images. Edge region of the image usually conveys important information of blur parameters. In this paper we propose a region-based edge extraction method for estimating point-spread-function (PSF). As a result, the proposed method can detect the starting and the ending points of a step response, and provides the PSF parameters to the restoration process.

When the process disturbance of nuclear power plant occurred, the operator should ensure plant safety, economy and identify the causes of disturbance. To accomplish these goals, operator should process a large amounts of information. Among these, alarms would be often in the operator's first indication of a plant state change or disturbance. To support limited information processing capability of operator, considerable works are under way to develop advanced alarm processing systems and to evaluate it. However, conventional evaluation method could provide just evaluation results but the design alternatives to enhance alarm system performance. To overcome problems associated with conventional evaluation methods of alarm system, signal detection theory(SDT) was introduced, and it was possible conclude that SDT could not only evaluate system but also suggest design alternatives for performance enhancement.

최근 사물인터넷에 대한 관심과 투자가 크게 증가하고 있으나 보안 측면에서 문제가 지속적으로 제기되고 있다. 그 해결책으로서 기업에서는 기업 내에서 구현한 클라이언트와 서버들로만 구성되어진 자체 IoT 생태계를 구축하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방식의 단점으로는 다양한 서드파티 어플리케이션이 해당 IoT 서버들의 자원을 활용할 수 없다는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이를 보안한 OAuth 2.0 기반 CoAP 인증 프레임워크의 설계를 제안한다.

학술 문서 내에서 테이블은 실험 결과, 정의, 요약하는 정보들을 함축하여 사용자에게 제공하는 역할을 한다. 즉 이러한 테이블을 학술 문서 내에서 탐색, 추출하여 검색에 이용하는 것은 학술 문서의 이해를 돕는 것과 더불어 학술 문서를 사용자가 직접 작성할 때에도 비슷한 형태의 테이블을 참조하여 형식에 맞는 테이블을 작성하는 데에 도움을 준다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 다양한 목적의 테이블 검색을 지원하기 위하여 문서로부터 자동으로 적합한 키워드를 추출하고 이를 통하여 문서와 유사한 테이블, 문서 내 테이블과 유사한 형식의 테이블을 검색하는 데 적합한 새로운 지능형 테이블 검색 시스템을 제안하며 이를 통해 기존에 존재하는 테이블 검색 시스템 알고리즘들과 성능 비교를 통해 향후 테이블 기반 검색 시스템 발전 가능성을 제시한다.

Writing requirements in formal notation for a safety-critical system can improve software quality and reduce the errors that may arise later on in the software development life cycle. In this paper, we propose a formal specification approach used to describe the nuclear control system. The approach is based on the existing AECL approach that was the only formal specification technique applied to nuclear control systems in the past. Although the approach is AECL-based, the complex descriptions of certain requirements have been reduced by using different specification techniques. We discuss the differences and how the proposed approach provides not only specification but also verification environment.
