  • In this article, we discussed semi-analytical approximated methods for solving mixed Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations, namely: Adomian decomposition method and modified Adomian decomposition method. Moreover, we prove the uniqueness results and convergence of the techniques. Finally, an example is included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed techniques.

  • In this paper, we propose a combined form for solving nonlinear interval Volterra-Fredholm integral equations of the second kind based on the modifying Laplace Adomian decomposition method. We find the exact solutions of nonlinear interval Volterra-Fredholm integral equations with less computation as compared with standard decomposition method. Finally, an illustrative example has been solved to show the efficiency of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a Naveir-Stokes equation is solved by using the Adomian's decomposition method (ADM), modified Adomian's decomposition method (MADM), variational iteration method (VIM), modified variational iteration method (MVIM), modified homotopy perturbation method (MHPM) and homotopy analysis method (HAM). The approximate solution of this equation is calculated in the form of series which its components are computed by applying a recursive relation. The existence and uniqueness of the solution and the convergence of the proposed methods are proved. A numerical example is studied to demonstrate the accuracy of the presented methods.

  • A combined form of the modified Laplace Adomian decomposition method (LADM) is developed for the analytic treatment of the nonlinear Volterra-Fredholm integro differential equations. This method is effectively used to handle nonlinear integro differential equations of the first and the second kind. Finally, some examples will be examined to support the proposed analysis.

  • This paper presents the analytical solution of the fractional Fokker-Planck equation by Adomian decomposition method. By using initial conditions, the explicit solution of the equation has been presented in the closed form and then the numerical solution has been represented graphically. Two different approaches have been presented in order to show the application of the present technique. The present method performs extremely well in terms of efficiency and simplicity.

  • Smoking is one of the main causes of health problems and continues to be one of the world's most significant health challenges. In this paper, we use the multi-step Adomian decomposition method (MSADM) to obtain approximate analytical solutions for a mathematical fractional model of the evolution of the smoking habit. The proposed MSADM scheme is only a simple modification of the Adomian decomposition method (ADM), in which ADM is treated algorithmically with a sequence of small intervals (i.e. time step) for finding accurate approximate solutions to the corresponding problems. A comparative study between the new algorithm and the classical Runge-Kutta method is presented in the case of integer-order derivatives. The solutions obtained are also presented graphically. The results reveal that the method is effective and convenient for solving linear and nonlinear differential equations of fractional order.

  • A system, such as a reactor point kinetics equation, can be solved with Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) which uses the notion that all solutions and operators can be expressed as an infinite sum of those basis states, like Adomian polynomials. In this work, ADM is applied to point reactor kinetics equations for step reactivity insertion, ramp input of reactivity, and nonlinear feedback cases without linearization approximation. The results of ADM are more accurate and faster than those of other existing methods, even though we use comparatively large time step sizes.

  • This paper summarizes some research findings that show how the differential transform method (DTM) is used to resolve the Holling-Tanner model. To confirm the application, effectiveness, and correctness of the approach, a comparison between the differential transform method (DTM) and the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is carried out, and an accurate solution representation in truncated series is discovered. The approximate solution obtain using both techniques and comparison demonstrates same outcome which remains a preferred numerical method for resolving a system of nonlinear differential equations.

  • In this paper, we implement a relatively new analytical technique by combining the traditional variational iteration method and the decomposition method which is called as the variational decomposition method (VDM) for solving the sixth-order boundary value problems. The proposed technique is in fact the modification of variatioanal iteration method by coupling it with the so-called Adomian's polynomials. The analytical results of the equations have been obtained in terms of convergent series with easily computable components. Comparisons are made to verify the reliability and accuracy of the proposed algorithm. Several examples are given to check the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. We have also considered an example where the VDM is not reliable.
