지역사회 유해환경과 청소년의 음주흡연 경험과의 관계에서 학교적응의 보호 작용 (The Protective Role of School Adjustment Between Risky Neighborhood Environment and Adolescent Drinking and Smoking)

  • Objective: To prevent adolescent drinking and smoking, this study proposed a strategy based on the ecological perspective. Methods: The study applied multilevel moderated logistic regression analysis on nationally representative individual-level (2,046 9th grade adolescents) and neighborhood-level (92 geographic areas) data. Results: There was a positive association between risky neighborhood environments (e.g., rate of smoking, drinking, and presence of saloon/bars accommodation) and rates of adolescent drinking and smoking. Furthermore, the interplay between risky neighborhood environments and school adjustment pointed to a possible protective effect of a high level of school adjustment in predicting smoking and drinking among adolescents. Conclusion: Findings highlighted the importance of considering multiple neighborhood social contexts surrounding adolescents to understand their risky behavior. Furthermore, positive intervention strategies that focus on adolescents' positive development within the school domain may act to protect adolescents from harmful neighborhood environments.

우울, 불안 특성을 보이는 청소년에 대한 상담사례연구 (A case - Study of Counseling with a Depressed Adolescent)

  • In this case- study, sandplay therapy and verbal therapy were used on an adolescent who was depressed, lacked motivation, and suffered from anxiety issues related to conflict with a sibling and oppressive parents who did not show much affection. In total, 69 counseling sessions, including sandplay and verbal therapy, were conducted. Sandplay therapy was applied at the beginning to the middle stages, after which verbal therapy was applied until the final stage. During sandplay therapy, the adolescent exhibited the hero's journey and ego development. During the verbal therapy, the adolescent began to effectively express emotion based on his strengthened ego. He recovered his confidence based on self awareness which ultimately allowed him to resolve and overcome his internal conflicts.

Promoting Mental Health Literacy at Schools in South Korea

  • The onset of many lifelong mental illnesses is during childhood and adolescence. There has been an increase in these conditions among children and adolescents especially, during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is essential to promote mental health literacy (MHL) as a preventive and universal intervention for children and adolescents. Positive mental health status in adolescence is related to an increased level of MHL, and various MHL programs at schools have been reported to be effective for adolescent students worldwide. Recently, MHL programs have been developed in South Korea to be used by schoolteachers. There is a need for active dissemination and development of future programs. For continuous and effective education, it is desirable to include MHL education in regular school curricula.

  • 연구목적:대한소아청소년정신의학회 창립 20주년을 맞아 한국 소아청소년정신의학의 발전 과정(과거)을 돌아보고, 현재의 상황과 문제점을 짚어보고, 앞으로 나아가야할 방향과 주요과제를 살펴 보고자함. 연구방법:학회기록, 관련논문, 원로들과의 개인통신, 저자개인기록과 참여경험을 토대로 함. 결 과:한국소아정신과의 공식출범은 1979년 서울대학교병원외래에 소아정신과클리닉의 개설과, 다음해 동대학병원에 소아정신분과 설립으로 볼 수 있음. 대한소아, 청소년정신의학회는 1983년 한국소아정신의학연구회로 시작하여 1986년 동학회가 공식 창립되었음. 창립후 지난 20년간 학회는 괄목할만한 성장과 발전을 하였는데 그 원동력은 소아청소년정신과 전임의 수련프로그람이 주요대학병원(현재 총 7개)에 생겼고, 1994년부터 한국소아청소년정신의학회지 발간, 1996년 대한소아청소년정신과 수련심사위원회의 발족과 역할수행에서 찾을 수 있음. 현재 한국에 77명의 소아청소년정신의학 분과전문의와 48명의 부가수련중인 전문의, 18명의 전임의가 수련 중에 있음. 현재 한국소아청소년정신과는 국내적으로는 중흥기를 맞이하고 있고 인접전문분야의 발전에도 크게 기여하고 있음, 국제적으로도 아시아소아청소년학회의 창립과 학술활동에 중추적 역할을 하고 있을 뿐 아니라 미국 및 국제 소아청소년정신의학회등 국제무대로 역할을 확대 중임. 결 론:한국소아청소년정신의학은 지난 20년간 성공적인 발전을 해왔고, 의학계와 일반 사회에 크게 기여하고 있음. 그러나 청소년문제에 대한 적극적 개입, 병원 및 정신질환 관련기관에서의 자문, 연결, 학교자문서비스에 좀더 적극적인 참여가 필요함. 우리나라는 지난 30여년간 급격한 정치적, 경제적, 사회문화적 변화를 겪었고, 특히 가족체계의 변화와 붕괴현상은 날로 심각해져, 소아청소년의 정신건강문제는 증가일로에 있는 것이 분명함으로 앞으로 소아청소년정신과 전문의의 역할은 중차대함. 뿐만 아니라, 우리는 아시아지역 국가들의 낙후된 소아청소년정신과서비스 개발과 발전에도 기여하여야할 사명이 있는 것으로 제안함.

청소년의 이주민에 대한 편견: 부모의 영향 및 청소년의 자아정체감과 대처양식에 미치는 영향 (Adolescent Prejudice towards Immigrants: The Role of Parents and the Effect of Adolescent Prejudice on Self-Identity and Coping Styles)

  • As the immigrant population is rapidly growing in South Korea, it is important for the next generation of Korean adolescents to foster unprejudiced attitudes towards immigrants. This paper thus seeks to shed light on adolescent prejudice towards immigrants, by addressing the following three questions: (1) Does a mother's prejudice towards immigrants and parenting style influence their adolescent children's prejudice towards immigrants? (2) Does an adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants influence his/her self-identity? (3) Does an adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants influence his/her coping styles? The sample consisted of 288 pairs of Korean adolescents and their mothers. According to hierarchical regression analyses, a mother's prejudice towards immigrants significantly predicted her adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants, after taking sociodemographic variables into account, whereas her parenting style did not. In addition, having a low level of prejudice towards immigrants among adolescents predicted high levels of self-identity (e.g. independence, proprioceptive, and mission orientation), and a greater use of positive coping skills (e.g. support-seeking and problem-solving). Overall, results showed that mothers played a significant role in shaping their adolescent's prejudice towards immigrants. Results also provided evidence that prejudice towards immigrants may interfere with the healthy development of self-identity and coping style during adolescence. In conclusion, this study suggests that multicultural education for adolescents can be more effective, when it is provided in partnership with a parent education program that is designed to raise parental multicultural awareness.

셧다운제도에 대한 청소년의 인식과 정책에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cognition and Policy of Shutdown System of Adolescent)

  • 본 연구는 최근 온라인게임으로 인해 부작용이 심각한 수준에 이르고 있는 청소년의 현실을 반영하여 심야시간에 게임접속을 제한하여 과도한 게임이용으로부터 청소년을 보호하기 위해 온라인 게임서비스 이용시간을 일부 제한하는 셧다운제도의 도입에 대한 청소년들의 인지도와 게임중독의 심각성인지정도, 셧다운제도의 효과성과 문제, 그리고 대안정책 등에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 조사결과, 청소년의 17.5% 만이 셧다운제도에 대해 인지하고 있었다. 또한 청소년들은 게임중독에 대해 매우 심각한 것으로 인지하고는 있었으나 셧다운제도 도입의 효과성에는 절반정도만 효과적이라 응답했다. 셧다운제도 도입과 관련된 정책대안으로, 첫째, 공교육의 확립으로 청소년들이 입시경쟁 속에 많은 시간 사교육에 노출되는 것을 막아야 할 것이다. 둘째, 일상의 규제는 가정이 주체이고 가정에서 관리하는 것이 바람직한 만큼 가정교육 프로그램의 개발로 부모와 자녀 간 대화시간을 늘리는 것이 필요하다. 마지막으로 청소년의 여가문화 컨텐츠 개발과 보급의 활성화가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Development of an Evidence-based Nutritional Intervention Protocol for Adolescent Athletes

  • [Purpose] Effective nutritional intervention can help reduce the risk of nutritional problems and improve athletic performance in adolescents. The five A's (assess, advise, agree, assist, and arrange) model is widely used as the theoretical framework for advice on nutrition, smoking, drinking, and physical activity and it recommends that practitioners in primary health care promote behavior change to facilitate positive outcomes. This model has also been useful in understanding the underlying processes of behavior change. This study aimed to develop both a novel evidence-based nutritional intervention protocol, rooted in sound nutritional theory, and a customizable nutritional intervention program to support sustainable healthy eating, enhance nutrient intake, and improve athletic performance in adolescent athletes. [Methods] In this study, we adapted the 5 A's behavioral change model and motivational interview to develop a theoretical framework to help adolescent athletes change their behavior and achieve their goals. [Results] During each step of the 5 A's protocol, a customized nutritional intervention protocol was developed by nutrition experts for each of adolescent athletes. Each plan was developed to improve the eating habits of adolescent athletes through group education and counseling. All nutritional counseling sessions were designed to enable participants to apply nutritional knowledge and practical action plans to their training and competition conditions to enable each of them to achieve individual athletic goals and facilitate self-management. [Conclusion] A theoretical and evidence-based nutritional intervention protocol was developed to identify and address obstacles to healthy dietary habits in adolescent athletes. This could be used as the basis for further studies aimed at improving nutrient intake and athletic performance in adolescent athletes.

청소년 경계선 상태의 임상적 분류 (CLINICAL CATEGORIES OF ADOLESCENT BORDERLINE STATE)

  • 본 논문에서는 청소년 경계선 장애의 개념의 발달, 역학, 공존 질환 및 감별 진단, 유형 분류, 정신 역동학적 이론, 생물학적 이론, 실험적인 연구등을 통한 병인론, 추적 연구에 대한 문헌 고찰을 하였고 청소년기에 재현되는 재접근기(rapproachment)의 혼란에 의해 현상학적으로 경계선 성격 장애와 같은 모습을 보이는 상태를 통틀어 청소년의 경계선 상태(adolescent borderline state)라고 정의하였으며 이를 성인의 경계선 성격 장애와는 다른 청소년의 한 ‘과정’으로서 개념화하였다. 또한 저자들은 청소년기의 경계선 상태를 다음의 네가지 유형으로 나누고 각각의 증례를 제시하였다 (1) 청소년 과정으로서의 경계선 상태 (2) 정신병적 상태와 연관되어 나타나는 경계선 상태 (3) 전형적 경계선 성격 장애의 시작으로서의 경계선 상태 (4) 기질적 질환과 연결되어 나타나는 경계선 상태. 결론적으로 청소년기의 경계선 장애는 단순히 아동기의 분리-개별화 단계의 실패가 지속되어 생기는 것이 아니라 이와 유사한 과제가 발달의 주제로 재현되는 청소년기의 이차 분리 개별화 과정의 갈등에 의한 것이고 만약 이 시기에 갈등의 해소가 안되면 성인기에서는 경계선 성격 장애로 나타날 수 있을 것이라고 생각되었다.

  • The school system of fisheries high school was proper to specialist objective school system in order to training for expert human resource development.Training a field of human resources development from fisheries high school is fallow; fisheries production, seamen's training, ship engine and refrigerator, marine electronic telecommunication and information, fisheries foods production and fisheries foods production and distribution, fishery fisheries self-management, marine distribution, management and conservation of marine environment, safety and marine prevention of disasters, apparatus of marine development, under water area development.A new department opening and each department was revised toward to department name and department character. The unit-lesson hour of curriculum according to specialist objective school system of fisheries and marine highschool was revised. professional subject 98 unit-lesson hour(52%), normality subject 90 unit-lesson hour(48%), and educational activity of professional subject 10unit-lesson hour, total training activity 10 unit-lesson hour. And the special objective school system need to revise curriculum of 208 total unit-lesson hour.

아동·청소년 치과 주치의 사업의 시행현황과 발전방안 (Study of the implementation and development of a child·adolescent dental care service)

  • This study focused on the status of dental care development for children and adolescents. In contrast to the chronic disease management project, this research intended to provide basic data for the expansion of the system. We summarized the status of the system's expansion since 2012. It analyzed research reports, papers, related literature and books on the system of children and adolescent dental care service. The literature analysis classifies year, publication, title and published location. The current state of the system is listed as location, target, support funds, etc. Implementation of the project was first discussed in 2007. Initial planning focused on the Oral Health Policy Research Society of the Gunchi. Effective measures were formulated in 2008 under the center of the Gunchi. It is time to discuss the dental care system's direction and development, as well as future aims based on a beneficial program of preventive care. A system of dentistry should be introduced to benefit the entire population.
