지방행정체계 개편에 따른 농촌지도조직의 대응방안 연구 (A Study on the Countermeasures of Agricultural Extension Service Agencies by Reorganization of Local Administrative System)

  • There is a wide range of agreement for reorganization of administrative units. It is expected that regionalization of city governments and city-county consolidation would contribute to enhance efficiency of extension services and weaken citizen accessibility, responsiveness, and participation. Therefore, it is suggested that branch office of extension center should be provided to the isolated rural areas in order to maintain the appropriate level of services. Also, the relationship and linkage between the national/regional government and local extension centers should be reshaped by making current linkage system such as monthly Provincial Meeting and central-local association more effective. Establishment of agricultural database of each local region is needed to strengthen local extension center's role. Finally, extension service agency needs to consider to expand its function from the traditional extension services to a variety of 'rural issues.'

  • The importance of Entrepreneurship has been widely acknowledged by researchers and practitioners worldwide, however, the idea of Social Entrepreneurship is still considered to be an emerging area. Entrepreneurship is vital not only because of its economic impacts but also because it helps to address issues of poverty and welfare, where it can act as a catalyst for change. The importance of social entrepreneurship is that it serves to turn a profit and find success while helping others throughout the world. They know the power of social enterprise and are eager to serve the societal and economic benefits. This study aims to identify the level of orientation of youth towards social entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The study identifies the role of various factors that affect Social Entrepreneurial Orientation and is conducted following a quantitative research strategy and survey research design where data is collected from 302 individuals. Structural Equation Modelling was used to analyze the data and to test the hypotheses. The main finding of this research is that there is an increasing trend in the orientation towards social entrepreneurship. The exogenous variables namely Perceived Educational Support, Perceived Structural Support, and Perceived Relational Support were found to have positive and significant effects on the endogenous construct of Social Entrepreneurial Orientation.

  • This study will explain the determinants factors that can increase donation behavior in public funding. The originality of this study is the use of Agreeableness Personality and Social Exclusive as predictors in Theory of Planned Behavior. Besides that, this study involves Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control, Religiosity, Intention to Donate, and Donation Behavior. The population of this research is all people registered as active participants of BPJAMSOSTEK in East Java Province, of which 400 people are used as samples. The data analysis method used to test the hypothesis is SEM, which was conducted by utilizing the WarpPLS 6.0 software. The study found that Agreeableness Personality significantly had a positive effect on Attitude and Perceived Behavior Control, while Social Exclusive only significantly had a positive effect on Perceived Behavior Control. Attitude and Perceived Behavior Control influence the Intention to Donate positively, then consequently had a positive effect on Donation Behavior. Religiosity tends to strengthen the influence of the Intention to Donate to Donation Behavior. To improve donation behavior in the general public, BPJAMSOSTEK must organize a form of labor protection efforts to bring prosperity to all workers in Indonesia.

  • The purpose of this study is to apply Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis with Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) and translate the effect of Spiritual Marketing and Entrepreneurial Orientation on Sustainable Competitive Advantage with Marketing Capabilities as Mediation, especially for General BBM marketing at PT. Pertamina (Persero). The quantitative approach in this study uses a survey method by taking samples from the population. The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis was performed using SEM and analyzed using the GSCA model. The population of this study consisted of 3,207 workers in central and regional marketing offices (Marketing Operation Region (MOR) spread throughout Indonesia. Therefore, a sample of 356 respondents was taken according to the Slovin formula. Spiritual marketing and entrepreneurial orientation directly influence the ability to improve Innovation which directly influences sustainable competitive advantage. Therefore, to develop a sustainable competitive advantage in marketing Pertamina's General BBM, it is necessary to implement spiritual marketing and improve entrepreneurial orientation. The novelty in this study lies in the unprecedented research on the role and position of spiritual marketing towards marketing capabilities and sustainable competitive advantage, combined with entrepreneurial orientation variables.

Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building: A Case Study in Indonesia

  • This study seeks to examine and analyze the influence of institutional strengthening factors, and capacity building - communication, resources, and training - on the performance of defense policy implementation. This study conducted a quantitative analysis related to the implementation of the institutional strengthening policy. The data used are primary data with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The population in this study were all people in the city of Bandung, Indonesia. The sample of this study consisted of 200 respondents consisting of civilians and soldiers who served in the city of Bandung. Data analysis uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) measurement model. The results of this study reveals that institutional strengthening (X1) influences positively and significantly capacity building's communication (Y1), resources (Y2), and training (Y3). On the other hand, the performance of defense policy implementation (Y4) is positively and significantly affected by capacity building's communication (Y1), resources (Y2), and training (Y3). The interaction between institutions, consumption support, role of the healthcare sector, and effectiveness are the most important indicators reflecting capacity building (communication, resources, training) and the performance of defense policy implementation. Essentially, this study analyzes the performance of defense policy implementation based on capacity building.

The Effect of Relationship Marketing on Service Quality and Customer Loyalty: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of Relationship Marketing on service quality and customer loyalty, especially in the context of the retail industry. In retail industry, Relationship Marketing is the key to increase and maintain a large pool of customers. This research was conducted in North Sulawesi Province with a sample size of 155 supermarket customers. The sampling technique used for the study is the purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using SEM based on GeSCA components. The results showed that Relationship Marketing had a significant positive effect both on service quality and customer loyalty. The commitment, communication, conflict handling, and competence play an important role in improving service quality which ultimately makes customers loyal. In addition, the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, also has significant positive findings. These findings are in line with the concept of SERVQUAL and The Commitment-Trust Theory. The implication of the managerial research is that supermarket managers in North Sulawesi must focus and emphasize more on the Relationship Marketing dimension especially in terms of commitment, communication, conflict handling, and competence. Once these factors can be met, the quality of service will increase, and it causes an increase in customer loyalty to shop more at the supermarket.

Effects of Psychological Capital and Gratitude on Employees Intention to Leave: The Role of Job Satisfaction

  • This study investigated development of Intention to Leave concept or model, by positioning psychological capital and gratitude, and job satisfaction as mediator to Intention to Leave. It is expected that findings contribute to Human Resource Management theories, specifically ones which are related to employee behavior. This study used qualitative approach in which survey and questionnaires were employed during data collection. This study was conducted in PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur located in Bontang, East Kalimantan. PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur was selected as the setting since it has had a lot of achievement. Population was 500 employees of PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur in Bontang, while total samples were 250. This study uses a sampling technique of proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis methods were descriptive and quantitative. Inferential statistics, namely Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) were used to confirm model developed based on empirical data. This study showed that there is a significant and positive influence between Psychology Capital (X1) on Job Satisfaction (Y1) and Gratitude (X2) on Job Satisfaction (Y1). Gratitude is the strongest influencing variable on job satisfaction. Meanwhile, a significant but negative effect between Job Satisfaction (Y1) on Intention to Leave (Y2). This means that high job satisfaction will reduce the intention to leave.

교육행정공무원의 직무만족과 스트레스 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study related to Professional Satisfaction and Stress Factors of the Administrative Education Government Officials)

  • 본 연구는 교육행정직 공무원이 단위학교의 행정을 수행하면서 겪고 있는 일상적 스트레스, 직무스트레스, 직무만족도에 관한 요인을 분석함을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2013년 3월 10일부터 3월 30일까지 충북 청주시 청원군 소재 교육행정직 공무원 122명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS Win 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 t-test, 빈도분석과 신뢰도분석 방법으로 실시하였고, 실증분석은 유의수준 5%에서 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 직무만족도에 있어서 직급에 따른 직무만족도 차이는 유의미하나 성별, 연령, 종교, 교육 정도, 결혼 상태, 학교 급, 학교 규모, 경력, 음주, 흡연, 종교에 따른 차이는 유의수준 5%에서 유의미하지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 직무만족도 하위요인에 있어서는 인사관리, 인간관계, 업무능력 부문에서는 요인별 내용과 유의미하나 조직 분위기는 유의수준 5%에서 유의미하지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 직무 스트레스 하위요인에서 양적 역할고에 대한 스트레스는 연령과 학교 급, 직급, 경력, 흡연에 따른 차이가 유의미하였으며, 경력발달에서는 흡연에 따른 차이가 유의미하였고, 역할갈등 및 모호성에 대한 스트레스에서는 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 차이가 유의수준 5%에서 유의미하지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 시사점으로는 교육행정공무원에 대한 사회 환경적 배려가 요구되며, 아울러 인사관리보다는 업무능력 개발과 인간관계, 조직의 분위기 순의 배려가 요구됨을 들 수 있다.

Impact of Smoking Cessation Training for Community Pharmacists in Indonesia

  • Background: Community pharmacists play an important role in tobacco control and adequate training on smoking cessation is essential. Materials and Methods: A quasi-experimental pre-test/post-test design was used. A one-day workshop on smoking cessation organized by Indonesian Pharmacists Association as part of PCE program was offered to 133 community pharmacists. The workshop consisted of a 3-hour lecture and a 3-hour role-play session. Pre-training and post-training surveys assessed the impact of training on parameters including knowledge, perceived role and self-efficacy with respect to smoking cessation counseling practices. Intention and ability to perform counseling using the 5A framework was assessed after training only. Results: After PCE, knowledge score significantly increased from $24.9{\pm}2.58$ to $35.7{\pm}3.54$ (p<0.001). Perceived role and self-efficacy in smoking cessation counseling also significantly increased from $25.8{\pm}2.73$ to $28.7{\pm}2.24$, and $27.6{\pm}4.44$ to $32.6{\pm}3.63$, respectively (p<0.001). After the workshop, most participants were willing to ask, advise, and assess patients who ready to quit, but were still less likely to assist in quitting plans and arranging follow up counseling. More than 75% pharmacists were able to perform cessation counseling and 65% of them can completely perform a 5A brief intervention. Conclusions: PCE can enhance pharmacists' knowledge, perceived role, self-efficacy in cessation counseling practices, and create willingness and ability to perform cessation counseling. Future training is recommended to improve skills in assisting quitting plans and arranging follow up.

중앙행정기관의 기록관 건립 및 운영 방안 법무부 기록관 사례를 중심으로 (Construction and Operation Plan of Record Center in Central Administrative Agency : Focused on Cases of Record Center in Ministry of Justice)

  • 기록물의 생산주체라 할 수 있는 처리과를 접점에서 관리하고 있는 기록관의 기능 및 역할이 매우 수동적이고 국한적임에 따라 이에 대한 변화와 더불어 업무 및 조직의 확장에 대한 요구가 많아지고 있다. 기록관 기능 및 역할을 강화하기 위해서는 제도적 장치의 보완과 더불어 기록관 소관 기록물에 대한 보존 및 활용의 가치의 규명, 다양한 업무 개발, 독자적 기록관 건립 등을 통해 내실화를 이루어낼 필요성이 있다. 이에 본고에서는 법무부 기록관의 건립 배경과 과정, 남은 과제에 대하여 살펴보고, 해당 사례를 토대로 중앙행정기관이 기록관 건립 시 필수적으로 고려해야 하는 사항과 절차는 무엇이 있는지에 대하여 알아보고자 한다.
