용매와 용매 첨가제가 고분자 막 구조에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Effect of Solvent and Solvent-Additives of Polymeric Dope Solutions on Membrane Morphology)

  • 기체 투과도 및 기계적 강도가 높은 고분자 비대칭막을 상분리법으로 제조하기 위해 막 제조 메카니즘을 규명하는 연구를 수행하였다. 기본적인 연구가 많이 이루어진 폴리스티렌, 이에 비해 용매와의 관계가 덜 알려져 있는 폴리아미드이미드인 Torlon과 3,3'4,4'-benzophenontetracarboxylic diahmydride와 1,4-phenylene diarnine로 이루어진 폴리이미드를 여러 용매에 녹여 얻어진 캐스팅 용액으로부터 비대칭막을 제조하였다. 용매와 비용매와의 혼합열과 막 구조의 관계로부터, 막의 구조를 결정하는 데에는 용매와 비용매의 혼합열이 크게 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 이 결과로부터 폴리술폰 막의 구조를 용매 첨가제를 사용하여 조절하였다. 캐스팅 고분자 용액이 비용매를 만날 때 용매와 비용매와의 혼합열이 두 물질의 교환 속도에 영향을 미쳐 결국에는 막의 구조에 영향을 미치는 데에 대한 이론적인 고찰도 아울러 수행하였다.

첨가제 배합 및 압력에 따른 GFRTP의 기계적 특성 연구 (Study of the Mechanical Properties of GFRTP by Pressure Additives and Compounding)

  • Glass fiber reinforced thermoplastics(GFRTP) is made by adding chemical additive to glass fabric which is strong at a high temperate, incorrodible, and good at intensity and specific gravity. Although we focused on the weight lightening, the intensity of GFRTP is also important. To remedy thermoplastic resin's inferior property of matter to thermo-hardening resin, we formed several specimen, differing the chemical additive as Homo PP, MAPP 3%, Rubber 5%, and mixed. We put pressure of 5 type on the specimens. The analyses result for the different pressure, the resin spreads evenly, then the coherence is increased. Eventually, the mechanical properties are changed. When high intensity is needed, it is good idea to use polypropylene(PP) which has good coherence with glass fabric as chemical additive. We can get better intensity when we form the resin at the optimum pressure depending on mixing of chemical additive and glass fabric than when we increase the pressure.

Y(NO3)3·6H2O 첨가된 AlN 소결체의 기계적 및 열전도도 특성 (Mechanical and Thermal Conductivity Properties of Yttrium Nitrate Added AlN Sintering Body)

  • Aluminum nitride (AlN) is used by the semiconductor industry that has requirements for high thermal conductivity. The theoretical thermal conductivity of single crystal AlN is 320W/mK. Whereas, the values measured for polycrystalline AlN ceramics range from 20 W/mK to 280 W/mK. The variability is strongly dependent upon the purity of the starting materials and non-uniform dispersibility of the sintering additive. The conventional AlN sintering additive used yttria ($Y_2O_3$), but the dispersibility of the powder in the mixing process was important. In this study, we investigated the mechanical and thermal conductivity of yttrium nitrate ($Y(NO_3)_3{\cdot}6H_2O$), as a sintering additive in order to improve the dispersibility of $Y_2O_3$. The sintering additives content was in the range of 2 to 4.5wt.%. The density of AlN gradually increased with increasing contents of sintering additive and the flexural strength gradually increased as well. The flexural strength of the sintered body containing 4 wt% of $Y_2O_3$ and $Y(NO_3)_3{\cdot}6H_2O$ was 334.1 MPa and 378.2 MPa, respectively. The thermal conductivities were 189.7W/mK and 209.4W/mK, respectively. In the case of hardness, there was only a slight difference and the average value was about 10 GPa. Therefore, densification, density and strength values were found to be proportional to its content. It was confirmed that AlN using $Y(NO_3)_3{\cdot}6H_2O$ displayed relatively higher thermal conductivity and mechanical properties than the $Y_2O_3$.

아로니아를 첨가한 고기능성 스펠트 밀가루 식빵의 기호도 분석 (Preference Evaluation of High Functional Spelt Flour Bread added with Aronia Powder)

  • 아로니아는 항산화 성분을 풍부하게 함유하고 있는 슈퍼베리로서 그 영양학적 가치로 인해 많은 관심과 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스펠트 밀가루에 아로니아를 첨가하여 나타나는 가공적성을 pH와 발효팽창율을 중심으로 측정하였으며, 일반인을 대상으로 아로니아 첨가에 따른 기호도를 조사하였다. 산도측정 결과, 아로니아 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 pH 값이 낮아지는 경향이 나타났다. 발효팽창률에 있어서 아로니아를 첨가한 반죽의 부피는 아로니아를 첨가하지 않은 경우보다 약간 작은 것으로 측정되었다. 아로니아를 첨가한 빵의 기호도 조사 결과, 아로니아가 3% 첨가되었을 때는 맛에서 가장 많은 기호도가 나타났다. 색깔과 향기 그리고 전반적 호감도에서는 아로니아가 6% 첨가되었을 때 가장 많은 기호도가 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 스펠트 밀가루 식빵에 대한 아로니아 성분의 적정 배합비율은 6%로 선정되었다.

Carbon-slurry 연료의 제조에 있어서 첨가제의 효과 (Additive Effect in the Preparation of Carbon-slurry Fuel)

  • 분산성이 우수한 carbon-slurry 연료의 제조와 특성 분석을 하였다. Carbon-slurry 연료는 액체연료(Jet A-1)와 탄소 입자 그리고 적당한 첨가제를 혼합하여 얻었다. Carbon-slurry 연료의 분산성은 교반 온도, 탄소 입자의 특성 그리고 첨가제의 양과 종류 등에 따라서 달라진다. 특히 첨가제의 종류가 slurry 연료의 안정성에 가장 중요하였다. 다양한 음이온성, 양이온성, 비이온성 형태의 첨가제를 사용하여 carbon-slurry 연료의 분산성을 분석하였고, 이 결과 나트륨 염의 형태를 가진 음이온성 첨가제를 사용하였을 경우 carbon-slurry 연료의 분산성이 가장 우수하였음을 확인하였다. Carbon-slurry 연료의 분산성은 빛이 투과되는 광도 값을 측정하여 분석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 바이오매스로 커피원두를 이용하여 합성한 카본재료에 도전재로 주석을 이용하였다. 주석을 첨가하는 방법에 따라 단순 혼합, 화학적인 방법을 이용하여 혼합체를 만들어 시료를 합성하였다. 시료에 대한 XRD를 이용하여 주석과 탄소가 혼합된 구조를 가지고 있음을 확인하였고 SEM을 통한 합성된 시료구입자크기($12{\sim}85\;{\mu}m$)와 형태를 확인하였다. 충 방전 테스트를 실시하여 15사이클에서 카본블랙을 사용했을 때(105 mAh/g)보다 주석을 화학적으로 혼합을 시킨 시료의 경우(191 mAh/g)가 방전용량이 더 높게 나타나는 것을 볼 수 있었고, 주석을 단순 혼합을 실시한 경우에서는 카본블랙과 비슷한 용량(131 mAh/g)을 보였다.

Removal of Post Etch/Ash Residue on an Aluminum Patterned Wafer Using Supercritical CO2 Mixtures with Co-solvents and Surfactants: sc-CO2 Mixture for the Removal of Post Etch/Ash Residue

  • The result of stripping process for the removal of the post etch/ash Photoresist (PR) residue on an aluminum patterned wafer by using supercritical $CO_2$ ($sc-CO_2$) mixture, was investigated by scanning of electron microscope (SEM) inspection of wafer, measuring the cloud points and visual observation of the state of $sc-CO_2$ mixtures. It was found that $sc-CO_2$ mixtures were made by mixing additives and $sc-CO_2$ should form homogeneous and transparent phase (HTP) in order to effectively and uniformly remove the post etch/ash PR residue on the aluminum patterned wafer using them. The additives were formulated by mixing and co-solvents like an amine compound and fluorosurfactants used as HTP agents, and the PR residue on the wafer were able to be rapidly and effectively removed using the $sc-CO_2$ mixture of HTP. The five kinds of additives were formulated by the recipe of mixing co-solvents and surfactants, which were able to remove PR residue on the wafer by mixing with $sc-CO_2$ at the stripping temperature range from 40 to $80^{\circ}C$. The five kinds of $sc-CO_2$ mixtures which were named as PR removers were made, which were able to form HTP within the above described stripping temperature. The cloud points of $sc-CO_2$ mixtures were measured to find correlation between them and HTP.

  • 2단형 소형위성발사체 상단 메탄엔진에 다중점화가 가능한 간결한 점화기를 개발하고 있다. 첫 번째로 적층제조 기술을 활용하여 믹싱헤드와 일체형으로 다중점화장치를 설계 및 제작하였다. 두 번째로 연소기 헤드에 공급되는 점화 추진제를 주-추진제 배관에서 분기하여 공급함으로써 점화가스 저장을 위한 별도의 고압 용기가 필요없다. 1톤급 액체산소/액체메탄 엔진 연소기 헤드에 일체형으로 고안된 신규 점화기에 대해서 점화기 단독시험, 연소기 점화시험 및 연소기 성능시험 등의 다양한 시험을 수행하였고, 안정적인 점화 성능을 확인하였다.

Ensiling of Sweet Potato Leaves (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam) and the Nutritive Value of Sweet Potato Leaf Silage for Growing Pigs

  • The effect of adding carbohydrate-rich feedstuffs to sweet potato leaves (SPL) on silage quality was studied using a total of 180 laboratory silos. Silage quality was assessed by changes of pH, dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP) and ammonia nitrogen ($NH_{3}$-N). Pre-wilted SPL was mixed with cassava root meal (CRM), sweet potato root meal (SPM) or sugar cane molasses (Mo) at levels of 0, 30, 60 and 90 g $kg^{-1}$ (air-dry weight of additives to pre-wilted weight of SPL). Samples for assessing silage quality were collected after mixing the SPL with the additive and thereafter at 7, 14, 28 and 56 days of ensiling. There was a marked decrease in pH after 7 days and the pH remained low and stable until day 56. Addition of 60 and 90 g $kg^{-1}$ resulted in a lower pH (p<0.05) than the other treatments. The DM content of the silage increased (p<0.05) with increasing levels of additive, while there were no differences in DM with time of ensiling. The CP content of the silage decreased (p<0.05) with increasing levels of additive. The CP content did not change up to 28 days, but was lower (p<0.05) after 56 days in all treatments. The $NH_{3}$-N levels were increasing (p<0.05) with time of ensiling, and were lower (p<0.05) with additive levels of 60 g $kg^{-1}$ or higher. Also, the additive source affected the $NH_{3}$-N values, with the lowest values found for Mo. Castrated male pigs (Large White$\times$Mongcai) were used in 4$\times$4 Latin square design to study the total tract digestibility and nitrogen (N) utilisation of diets with inclusion of ensiled SPL. The diets were based on cassava root meal with inclusion of protein from either fish meal (C) or SPL ensiled with CRM (D1), SPL ensiled with SPM (D2) and SPL ensiled with Mo (D3). The digestibility of DM, organic matter (OM) and CP were higher (p<0.05), and the digestibility of crude fibre (CF) was lower (p<0.05), in diet C than in diets D1, D2 and D3. However, there were no differences (p>0.05) in digestibility of dietary components between diets D1, D2 and D3. Also, the excretion of N in faeces was higher (p<0.05) and the N retention was lower (p<0.05) in diets D1, D2 and D3 than in diet C. It can be concluded from the present experiments, that a good quality silage can be produced from pre-wilted SPL by addition of 60 g $kg^{-1}$ of either CRM, SPM or Mo. Diets with inclusion of 450 g ensiled SPL $kg^{-1}$ DM showed a high digestibility of dietary components and thus ensiled SPL should be considered as a potential feed resource for growing pigs.

STS 316L 소결재료의 내식특성에 미치는 합금원소 첨가방법의 영향 (The Effect of the Additive Elements Alloying Method on the Corrosion Resistance of Sintered STS 316L)

  • In this study, STS 316L powders with 3 wt.% Cu and 1 wt.% Sn known as corrosion-resistance reinforcement elements, are prepared to make different kinds of specimens, in which, 3 wt.% Cu and 1 wt.% Sn are added in different forms by mixing, alloying and fully alloying. After sintering in the same condition, the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and their mechanical properties of specimens are tested respectively. According to the comparison, STS 316L specimen sintered at $1270^{\circ}C$ showed the most excellent mechanical property: HRB 78 (hardness), 1130.7 MPa (RCS), 26.6% (Fraction Wear), It was similar with the specimen made of STS316L and fully alloyed Cu and Sn powders, meanwhile, the latter one appears the best corrosion resistance, 75hrs-salt immersion test results. In addition, the specimens with Cu and Sn powders additive showed relatively worse wear resistance in compared with STS316L specimen.
