유성기어 감속기에서 전위계수가 기어 강도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Addendum Modification Coefficient on Gear Strength to Planetary Gear Reducer)

  • Industrial reducer is in general use to Deck Crane. High-precision and high-efficient reducer is minimized the power-loss and energy-loss of a machine. So it contribute the price reduction and life extension. Reducer is usually using the Planetary gear reducer. Planetary gear reducer is composed the sun gear, planet gear, internal gear and casing. Industrial reducer's wear and breakage have a short-life. To solve this problem, it is using the profile-shifted-gear or tooth modification. This study was carried out the effect of addendum modification coefficient on tooth fillet bending strength to planetary reducer. Tooth fillet bending stress is calculate. And all parameter were expressed the function of addendum modification coefficient. And then stress concentration factor of tooth fillet curve was express the function of addendum modification coefficient using comparison between theory and finite element analysis.

  • In the reduction gears for marine propulsion engine such as turbine or high speed diesel engine, the standard involute double helical gears are generally used. However the addendum modification gear can be used in the reduction gear as it has flexibility for gear design on the tooth strength, scoring and operating noise. In this case, the determination of gear shaft bearing load is difficult by the alternation of operating pressure angle. In this paper, the formulas of bearing load according to the arrangements of the reduction gears are derived and the diagrams of operating pressure angle according to the modification coefficient are presented.

2K-H형 유성기어장치의 효율해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficiency Analysis of 2K-H Type Planetary Gear Train)

  • The analysis of interference and efficiency are important phases in the design of planetary gear train. Because most planetary gear trains contain internal gear called ring gear, interferences between ring gear and planet gear should be analyzed in the step of design and manufacturing. Addendum modification coefficient, pressure angle, speed ratio between ring gear and sun gear are governing factors for interferences. In this paper, the interferences of 2K-H I type planetary gear train based on various planetary gear trains are studied. As that results, the ranges of addendum modification coefficients which would not lead to interferences is analyzed. Based on these ranges, theoretical efficiencies are investigated as 6 configurations of 2K-H I type planetary gear train, which is based on basic efficiency, and optimal addendum modification coefficients which generate the maximum efficiency of planetary gear train are presented. To prove results of theoretical efficiency analysis, experimentations are performed.

Interference and Efficiency analysis of 2K-H I Type Differential Gear Unit

  • In the design of epicyclic gearing, the analysis of interference and mechanical efficiency is an important index. As an applied way, epicyclic gearing can be used for planetary gear drive and differential gear unit. In case that one of its components is fixed with intend, it is called planetary gear drive. On the contrary, in case that no component is fixed, it is called differential gear unit. In this paper, various design constraints and interferences are defined for 2K-H I type epicyclic gearing which is a basic arrangement of diverse epicyclic gearings. And various interferences are analyzed, and mechanical efficiency is calculated in case that 2K-H I epicyclic gearing is used for a differential gear unit as the change of gear ratio, cutter pressure angle, addendum modification coefficient. As that results, trend of mechanical efficiency is investigated in the ranges of addendum modification coefficients which would not lead to interferences, and the optimal range of addendum modification coefficient which can generate the maximum mechanical efficiency are presented. In order to prove results of theoretical efficiency analysis, experimental studies are performed.

내접치차의 강도에 관한 연구 (A study on strength of internal gear)

  • Bending strength of an internal gear tooth is discussed as tooth form factor taking into account the actual stress magnitude. Stress analysis was carried out by the finite element method(FEM) for the calculation of tooth form factor of an internal gear. This paper also investigated the influences of number of teeth and addendum modification coefficient of the internal gear and the influences of number of teeth, addendum modification coefficient, pressure angle, radius of rounding of tooth tip, and bottom clearance coefficient of the pinion-shaped cutter on tooth form factor of internal gear. Generalizing the resultant data, a simple formula for the tooth form factor of an internal gear was derived for the calculation of tooth bending strength of an internal gear.

  • Since plug type passenger door has two motion modes, power transmission unit must be capable of plug-in or plug-out, and sliding mode. Complex planetary gear train is proposed, which is composed of two 2K-H, I type planetary gear units. For the proposed complex planetary gear train, ranges of addendum modification coefficients which would not lead to interferences is analyzed, and optimal addendum modification coefficients among these ranges which generate the maximum efficiency are presented. Based on the interference, efficiency and torque ratio analysis results, complex planetary new train is designed and manufactured.

  • Since the plug type passenger door has two modes of motion, a power transmission unit must be capable of plug-in or plug-out mode, and sliding mode. Complex planetary gear train is proposed, which is composed of two 2K-H, I type planetary gear units. For the proposed complex planetary gear train, ranges of addendum modification coefficients which would not lead to interferences are analyzed, and optimal addendum modification coefficients among these ranges which generate the maximum efficiency are presented. Based on the results of analysis on interferences, efficiencies and torque ratios, the specifications for the complex planetary gear train were determined. It has been shown by tests of the complex planetary gear train manufactured that the gear train worked well with good agreements of analysis.

  • Because many light rail transit systems are mainly operated in the downtown areas of a large cities and the congestion areas, there are many steep gradients and sharp radius sections in that lines. As that reasons above, light rail vehicles are equipped with differential gear units between traction motors and final reduction gear units. In this paper, the configurations and the interferences of 2K-H I type Planetary gear train, which is applicable for light rail vehicles and based on various differential gear units, are studied.   • Closed-die forging of the spur gears with circular are fillet has been analyses by using the upper-bound method. A kinematically admissible velocity field has been developed, wherein, the tooth profile consists of the involute curve and the circular arc fillet. In the analysis, the deformation regions have been divided into eight zones. A constant frictional stress has been assumed on the contacting surfaces Utilizing the formulated velocity field, numerical calculations have been carried out to investigate the effects of various parameters, such as module, number of teeth, addendum modification coefficient and friction factor, on the relative forging pressure of spur gears. As the result of numerical calculations, the relative forging pressure does not change so much against the variation of module. On the other hand, the relative forging pressure increases at the final filling stage as the addendum modification coefficient increases.
