Korean small and medium sized software companies have tried to export their solutions or services to overseas markets. In 2016, exports of the software industry increased by 6.0% from the previous year, and the value added of the industry was 2.2 times higher than that of the manufacturing industry. From a long-term perspective, it is important to secure a global competitive advantage in order to sustain the export high value-added of the software industry. The obstacles to entry into the overseas market of small to medium enterprises are as follows: first, difficulty in product development and localization of marketing; second, lack of investment for overseas expansion; and finally, competitiveness of software technology. In particular, To overcome such obstacles, Korean small and medium sized software companies should increase the technical perfection and secure software export competitiveness. The paper presents a payment settlement framework enabling adaptive reuse and semiautomatic development of global payment settlement services. The quantitative and qualitative evaluation results are presented with domestic and overseas case studies as follows: Firstly, semi-automatic development is realized successfully by applying the framework. Secondly, it is possible to maintain consistent quality of software and to deliver maintenance services without relying on the internal human resources. Thirdly, it is possible to reduce the project duration of the same development cope to less than 50% by applying the framework. Finally, because it is based on BPMN 2.0, which is a high level design diagram, it is expected that it will be easy to implement through components connection and reduce difficulties in technology transfer and localization. Also, at the time of runtime operation, it will be effective to understand the design idea easily and to carry out additional developments without human resource who participated in the initial project.
Stayed cables are the key components for transmitting loads in cable-stayed bridges. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the cable force condition to ensure bridge safety. An online condition assessment and anomaly localization method is proposed for cables based on the spatiotemporal correlation of grouped cable forces. First, an anomaly sensitive feature index is obtained based on the distribution characteristics of grouped cable forces. Second, an adaptive anomaly detection method based on the k-nearest neighbor rule is used to perform dissimilarity measurements on the extracted feature index, and such a method can effectively remove the interference of environment factors and vehicle loads on online condition assessment of the grouped cable forces. Furthermore, an online anomaly isolation and localization method for stay cables is established, and the complete decomposition contributions method is used to decompose the feature matrix of the grouped cable forces and build an anomaly isolation index. Finally, case studies were carried out to validate the proposed method using an in-service cable-stayed bridge equipped with a structural health monitoring system. The results show that the proposed approach is sensitive to the abnormal distribution of grouped cable forces and is robust to the influence of interference factors. In addition, the proposed approach can also localize the cables with abnormal cable forces online, which can be successfully applied to the field monitoring of cables for cable-stayed bridges.
The localization of sources has a numerous number of applications. To estimate the position of sources, the relative delay between two or more received signals for the direct signal must be determined. Although the generalized cross-correlation method is the most popular technique, an approach based on eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) is also popular one, which utilizes an eigenvector of the minimum eigenvalue. The performance of the eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) based method degrades in the low SNR and the correlated environments, because it is difficult to select a single eigenvector for the minimum eigenvalue. In this paper, we propose a new adaptive algorithm based on Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) in order to extend the operation range to the lower SNR and the correlation environments. The proposed algorithm uses the eigenvector corresponding to the maximum eigenvalue in the generalized eigenvalue decomposition (GEVD). The estimated eigenvector contains all the information that we need for time delay estimation. We have performed simulations with uncorrelated and correlated noise for several SNRs, showing that the CCA based algorithm can estimate the time delays more accurately than the adaptive EVD algorithm.

An FM radio based PCL system is a passive radar technique for detecting the multiple moving targets from FM radio signals and tracking the trajectories of the targets by calculating the cross-correlation function of direct-path signal and target echo signals. However, the interference signals are received from a surveillance channel, which is designed to receive the target echo signals. Because of this problem, the target echo signals are masked by the strong interference signals and this makes it difficult to detect the true targets from the cross-correlation function. Adaptive filters are known as effective methods for suppressing the interference signals but there is a problem to present their accurate performances in the PCL system because many literatures used the cross-correlation function and the ratio of input and output power as a measure of the performance analysis. In this paper, a performance analysis method is proposed to evaluate the performance of interference cancellation algorithms. By using the property that each component of the filter weight vector is adjusted to suppress the specific interference signal, a performance measure of the interference signal suppression is defined by a function of adaptive filter weights. Based on the proposed method, we compare the performance of the adaptive filters used in the PCL system. Simulation results show that the proposed method can be very effective for evaluating the performance of interference cancellation algorithms.
The continuous wavelet transform (CWT) has a frequency-adaptive time-frequency tiling property, which makes it popular for the analysis of dispersive elastic wave signals. However, because the time-frequency tiling of CWT is not signal-dependent, it still has some limitations in the analysis of elastic waves with spectral components that are dispersed rapidly in time. The objective of this paper is to introduce an advanced time-frequency analysis method, called the dispersion-based continuous wavelet transform (D-CWT) whose time-frequency tiling is adaptively varied according to the dispersion relation of the waves to be analyzed. In the D-CWT method, time-frequency tiling can have frequency-adaptive characteristics like CWT and adaptively rotate in the time-frequency plane depending on the local wave dispersion. Therefore, D-CWT provides higher time-frequency localization than the conventional CWT. In this work, D-CWT method is applied to the analysis of dispersive elastic waves measured in waveguide experiments and an efficient procedure to extract information on the dispersion relation hidden in a wave signal is presented. In addition, the ridge property of the present transform is investigated theoretically to show its effectiveness in analyzing highly time-varying signals. Numerical simulations and experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the present method.

In this paper, we propose the new eye detection method by using adaboost (adaptive boosting) method. Also, to reduce the false alarm rate which identifies the non-eye region as genuine eye that is the Problems of previous method using conventional adaboost, we proposed the post processing methods which used the cornea specular reflection and determined the optimized ratio of eye detecting box. Based on detected eye region by using adaboost, we performed the double circular edge detector for localizing a pupil and an iris region at the same time. Experimental results showed that the accuracy of eye detection was about 98% and the processing time was less than 1 second in mobile device.
The localization of sources has a numerous number of applications. To estimate the position of sources, the relative time delay between two or more received signals for the direct signal must be determined. Although the GCC (Generalized Cross-Correlation) method is the most popular technique, an approach based on CCA (Canonical Correlation Analysis) was also proposed for the TDE (Time Delay Estimation). In this paper, we propose a new adaptive algorithm based on CCA in order to utilized the sparsity in the eigenvector of CCA based time delay estimator. The proposed algorithm uses the eigenvector corresponding to the maximum eigenvalue with log-sum regularization in order to utilize the sparsity in the eigenvector. We have performed simulations for several SNR(signal to noise ratio)s, showing that the new CCA based algorithm can estimate the time delays more accurately than the conventional CCA and GCC based TDE algorithms.

We present new digital watermarking scheme that embeds a watermark according to the characteristics of the image or video. The scheme is compatible with established image compression standard. We define a weighting function using a parent-child structure of the DCT coefficients in a block to embed a maximum watermark. The spatio-frequency localization of the DCT coefficients can be achieved with this structure. In the detection stage, we present an optimum a posteriori threshold with a given false detection error probability based on the statistical analysis. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is efficient and robust against various signal processing techniques. Especially, they are robust against widely used coding standards, such as JPEG and MPEG.
This paper presents a method to evaluate denoising filters based on edge locations in their denoised images. Image quality assessment has often been performed by using structural similarity (SSIM). However, SSIM does not provide clearly the geometric accuracy of features in denoised images. Thus, in this paper, a method to localize edge locations with subpixel accuracy based on adaptive weighting of gradients is used for obtaining the subpixel locations of edges in ground truth image, noisy images, and denoised images. Then, this paper proposes a method to evaluate the geometric accuracy of edge locations based on root mean squares error (RMSE) and jaggedness with reference to ground truth locations. Jaggedness is a measure proposed in this study to measure the stability of the distribution of edge locations. Tested denoising filters are anisotropic diffusion (AF), bilateral filter, guided filter, weighted guided filter, weighted mean of patches filter, and smoothing filter (SF). SF is a simple filter that smooths images by applying a Gaussian blurring to a noisy image. Experiments were performed with a set of simulated images and natural images. The experimental results show that AF and SF recovered edge locations more accurately than the other tested filters in terms of SSIM, RMSE, and jaggedness and that SF produced better results than AF in terms of jaggedness.
Monostatic sonar systems localize targets using the time information of pulse transmission and receipt. Whereas, in asynchronous bistatic sonar systems, receivers need to detect direct blast to localize targets, since a source doesn't share pulse information with receivers. In this paper, we propose a direct blast detection algorithm, which estimates PRI (Pulse Repetition Interval) of direct blast and adaptive thresholds. Experimental results show the proposed algorithm has robust direct blast detection performance in the environment where strong background noise and target signal exist.
