PCI Express (PCIe) bus, which was only used as an internal I/O bus of a computer system, has expanded its function to outside of a system, with progress of PCIe switching processor. In particular, advanced features of PCIe switching processor enable PCIe bus to serve as an interconnection network as well as connecting external devices. As PCIe switching processors more advanced, it is required to consider the different adapter card architecture. This study developed multipurpose adapter cards by applying an on-board optical module, a latest optical communications element, in order to improve transfer distance and utilization. The performance evaluation confirmed that the new adapter cards with long cable can provide the same bandwidth as that of the existing adapter cards with short copper cable.

본 논문에서는 현재 구현되어 있는 전자 상거래 서버가 특정 지불 방식만을 Transaction Logic안에 포함하고 있으므로 계속적으로 발전하고 있는 지불 방식의 추가를 위해서 서버 프로그램의 Transaction Logic을 고쳐야 하는 문제점을 제시하고 전자상거래 Transaction Logic으로부터 지불 방식을 분리하여 새로운 지불 방식 추가 시 효과적으로 새로운 지불 방식을 추가 적용할 수 있도록 서버 구현 시각 지불 방식 사용에 있어 동일한 Interface를 이용하여 구현을 쉽게 하는 Adapter 설계 방법을 제시하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.

CORBA 2.0 규격에 따라 구현돈 인터넷 Java ORB인 iORB는 Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) 객체 호출을 위한 Basic Object Adapter (BOA)를 클라이언트와 서버 객체 사이의 연결 설정과 요청 처리를 분리한 다중 쓰레드 방식으로 제공하고 있다. 본 논문은 다중 쓰레드 방식을 지원하는 iORB의 BOA 설계 및 구현에 관한 것이다.

XML을 통한 데이터의 전송과 저장은 E-Commerce에서 표준으로 이루어지고 있으며, 이는 점점 M-Commerce 방향으로 이전하고 있다. 이를 위하여 모바일 기기들을 위한 모바일 XML DBMS이 더욱 더 많은 DataBase 벤더들과 기업에 의하여 많은 제품이 개발되어지고 있다. 문제는 사로 다른 모바일 기기들에 대한 상호 호환성 확보와 불안한 네트워크 상태에서의 데이터 동기화에 대한 어려움으로 이를 위한 많은 솔루션들이 개발되고 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 모바일 DataBase에 XML 문서를 저장향 수 있도록 XML Adapter를 미들웨어로 탑재하여 XML 문서를 전송 및 저장하고, 데이터 동기화를 위한 XML 캐슁 시스템을 설계하였다.

Nowadays, we can enjoy access to high speed network and advanced services of convergence between broadcasting and communication anywhere and anytime through a ubiquitous computing. So, now digital convergence devices come out constantly. These devices are required faster network environment for high speed data processing than before. In this paper, we describe the design of InfiniBnad network adapter, which is included two FPGA chipsets. When this adapter is installed to Digital Convergence Platform (DCP) network performance will be improved. The adapter includes 12channel serial ports for external communication and internally, uses PCI-Express bus. We have finished the test of high speed serial based network adapter through composing complete InfiniBand network and applied fabric management software. So, we have verified that it can be applied on DCP environment.

Adapter는 그 특성상 밀폐된 환경 및 대전류 구동으로 인하여 회로 소자의 발열이 매우 심각하며 이를 위해서는 주어진 사양에서 최고의 효율을 갖는 최적Topology의 선정이 중요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존에 제안된 바 있는 몇 가지 회로에 대한 이론적 및 실험적 검증을 통해 200W 급 외장형 Adapter를 위한 최적 Topology를 제시하며 아울러 출력 정류 다이오드의 도통손실 및 발열을 개선하기 위해 동기정류기에 대하여 고찰한다.

이동 PC 및 기타 여러 가지 전자기기의 휴대화가 급속도로 증가함에 따라 저가형 Adapter의 소형화와 고효율화가 지속적으로 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 기존의 다양한 토폴로지 중 구성소자의 개수가 적고, 스위칭 손실을 저감할 수 있는 준-공진형 플라이백 컨버터에 대한 최적 설계 방법을 제시하고 이론적 및 실험적 검증을 통해 Slim type 65W급의 고효율 Adapter를 구현한다.

The proposed method offers an improved control method for high power density AC/DC adapter by using more energy efficient electrical equipments. Power factor corrector (PFC) topology is based on boost topology with boundary conduction mode (BCM). DC/DC topology is based on half-bridge topology with newly introduced off-time control method, which helps to reduce size of the semiconductor and the magnetic devices. Test results with 85W AC/DC adapter (18.5V/4.6A) design shows that the measured efficiency is 90% with power density of $36W/in^3$. It also show low no load power consumption of about 0.5W.

The AC-DC Adapter has been widely used in Mobile Phones, Note Book PC, LCD monitors, and portable electronic products. Recently, high-power-density Adapter was developed. This adapter increases power factor using a bridge diode rectifier and PFC, however, there are weak points that improving efficiency is limited. In the bridgeless rectifier circuit proposed in this paper, there is no PFC, however, the power factor and efficiency are improved by BCM and ZCS operations.

컴포넌트기반 개발에 있어서 레거시프로그램의 재활용은 사업 기간과 범위 그리고 효율성이라는 부분에서 상당히 중요한 요소이다. 레거시프로그램을 재활용하기 위해 레거시 프로그램을 Wrapping하는 프로그램이 필요하며, 이를 위한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그 중 Adapter 패턴을 분석하여 상속과 위임의 장단점을 제시하고 상속 방식을 이용하는 패턴에 대하여 심층적으로 분석한다. 이를 바탕으로 레거시 프로그램을 통합함에 있어 개별적 Wrapper 구성을 통해 Adapter의 크기를 최소화하고 유지보수에 편리하도록 지역화하며, 단점인 인터페이스의 복잡성을 해결하기 위해 Facade 패턴을 활용하여 문제를 해결하는 방법을 제안한다.
