Analysis on the Hunting Motion of the KTX (KTX 헌팅운동 해석)

  • The dynamic analysis of the KTX can predict the dynamic motions which occurred in test drive. In this study an analytical model of the KTX is developed to find the critical speed. The numerical analysis for the nonlinear equation motions of 17 degrees of freedom show the running stability and the critical speed due to the hunting motion of the KTX. Also, the vibration modes of the KTX are calculated using the ADAMS/RAIL software, which show that the critical speed occurs for the yawing modes of the car body and the bogie. Finally, this paper shows that the critical speed of the KTX could be changed with the modifications of the design parameters of wheel conicity and wheel contact point.

Critical Speed of High Speed Freight Car with the Consideration of Vibration Modes (진동모드를 고려한 고속화차의 임계속도)

  • The development of railway vehicle and bogie involves the proper selection of design parameters not only to achieve high speed of the train but also to reduce the vibration. In this study, an analytical model of a high speed freight car is developed to find the critical speed. The high speed freight car can generate the snake motion of the lateral, rolling and yawing motion of the car body and the bogie. The numerical analysis for the equation motions with 17 degrees of freedom showed the running stability and the critical speed due to the snake motion. Also the vibration modes of the high speed freight car was calculated using ADAMS RAIL software, which showed that the critical speed have the yawing modes of the car body and the bogie.

  • An implicit method of solving the six degree-of-freedom rigid body motion equations based on the second order Adams-Bashforth-Moulten method was utilised as an improvement over the leapfrog scheme by making modifications to the rigid body motion solver libraries directly. The implementation will depend on predictor-corrector steps still residing within the hybrid Pressure Implicit with Splitting of Operators - Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equations (PIMPLE) outer corrector loops to ensure strong coupling between fluid and motion. Aitken's under-relaxation is also introduced in this study to optimise the convergence rate and stability of the coupled solver. The resulting coupled solver ran on a free floating object tutorial test case when converged matches the original solver. It further allows a varying 70%-80% reduction in simulation times compared using a fixed under-relaxation to achieve the required stability.

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 경부의 후인과 회전 운동 범위에 있어 운동 감각 역치의 차이를 비교하기 위해 수행되었다. 방법 : 본 연구의 대상자는 19명(10명 남자, 9명 여자 나이 19~30세 평균 23.2, 표준편차 3.3)이 참가하였다. 이 연구에서 운동 감각 역치는 편안히 앉은 자세에서 시각 차단시와 시각 허용시에, constant stimuli의 방법을 사용하여 반복 측정되었으며, 움직임을 수행 하는 과정에서 정지 상태를 유도하여 그 정지동작에서 두 동작의 차이를 평가하였다. 결과 : 본 연구의 결과 후인 운동 감각이 오른쪽 또는 왼쪽 회전 운동 감각 보다 더 민감하게 나타났다. 결론 : 중간 범위의 두 움직임간의 차이를 비교할 때 시각차단 유무는 각 운동 감각에 영향을 미치지 않았다.

  • The spring suspension systems of passenger cars greatly influence the riding quality and safety. To properly design the suspension system, correct dynamic modelling and computational method have to be secured in this study. A computer program package was developed to investigate the dynamic behavior of a car and the suspension system for the case when the impulse input is acted on the car. Also, ADAMS, a commercial dynamic simulation program was used to analyze the dynamic behavior of a car passing over bumps. The actual dynamic behavior of the car was measured with a precision gyrometer and an accelerometer under driving conditions. The computed results agreed well with those of experiments.

  • Self-closing drawers are used in high-end products, such as furniture, home appliances, and a range of other storage devices. In this study, a self-closing mechanism is proposed. A system consisting of a friction latch, constant force spring, rotary damper with rack, and pinion is developed. The retracting drawer can be latched at any position and can be reactivated by simple touch. The constant force spring and rotary damper offer smooth closing action. The ergonomic quality of the closing action is quantified by an index based on velocity-time behavior. The effects of various design parameters are analyzed with a dynamics model and experimentally validated by prototype testing.

  • A rotary double inverted pendulum, the nonlinear system has a regulation problem. In this paper, we linearize the nonlinear system at the upright equilibrium position. The linearized system can be expressed in state space. To maintain the upright position, we design a feedback controller using LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) algorithm. Then we simulate the system with third-order Adams Bashforth Moulton Method. The simulated result shows that the applied algorithm is effective for the regulation problem.

Grandchildren Caregivers' Subjective Well-being (손자녀를 양육하는 노인의 주관적 안녕감)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the variables which account for grandchildren caregivers' subjective well-being. The subjects of this research were 100 grandmothers who are currently caring for grandchildren. The instruments used for this study were 'Job Content Questionnaire' by Karasek(1979), 'Family Support Inventory for Worker' by King, Mattimore, King, & Adams(1995), 'Social Support Scale' by Park(1985) and 'Psychological Positive Functioning' by Ryff(1989). Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations and hierarchical multiple regression. The major results of this study are as follows; First, grandchildren caregiving's demand level was negatively related to grandmothers' subjective well-being, but it's control and support level were positively related to them. Second, the variables that explained grandchildren caregivers' sutjective well-being were their marital status, income, material reward, and family support. When they had a husband, the more money they had, and with more rewards for caregiving plus family support given, the more positive subjective well-being they had.

  • 배선용 차단기의 개폐기구는 수동 조작력을 가동 접촉자에 전달하여 차단, 개폐의 동작을 행하는 것으로 Spring과 Link를 주체로 구성되어 있으며 기구부가 단락 차단 성능의 가장 큰 영향을 미친다. 제품 성능 개선을 위해 기구부를 변경하기 위해서는 많은 시행착오를 거치게 되는데 이 때 소요되는 시간과 비용을 줄이기 위해 동특성 해석이 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제품의 동적 모델링을 위해 범용 동역학 해석 프로그램인 ADAMS(Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System)을 이용하였고 설계 변경시 반복작업으로 인한 실패비용을 최소화하고 링크 지점의 최적값을 구하기 위해 민감도 해석과 최적화 기법을 도입하였다.
