전로 화염 인식에 관한 연구 (A study on the flame recognition technique of an oxygen blown converter)

  • In this paper, we propose the method to find the active region of flame which is produced within the gap between an oxygen blown converter and a skirt. For real-time image processing, basic region segmentation algorithms such as thresholding and XORing are used to segment the active region of flame. The result of this processing may be useful to clear the relationship between hood pressure and flame.

  • 차대 보행자 교통사고는 발생빈도에 비하여 사망률이 매우 높은 특징이 있다. 전세계적으로 정부 및 보험사에서는 보행자 보호를 위한 새로운 안전기준을 수립 및 강화하는 추세이다. 보행자 보호 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 한국정부는 2007 년부터 신차안전도평가에서 보행자 안전을 평가하고 있다. 보행자 보호 성능은 점진적으로 향상되었으나 여전히 미흡한 상태이다. 전개형 후드 및 보행자 에어백 등으로 구성되어 있는 보행자 보호 시스템은 보행자 보호를 위한 대안이 될 수 있다. 보행자의 머리상해기준값을 감소시키기 위하여 새롭게 정의된 설계방법론을 바탕으로 보행자 에어백 설계 절차를 제안하였다. 제안된 설계방법론을 실용적인 측면에서 검토하였고 보행자 보호 시스템의 제작에 적용이 가능하다.

  • The hat on the back of the upper jacket in Scythian, in of northern region surrounding the Black Sea, is described as a typical woolen hood, but until now has been overlooked in Korean costume studies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the hat on the upper jacket in Scythians and to recognize the meaning of the hat. A further purpose is to complete the basic framework of research concerning the Scythian costume by adding the part that was overlooked previously As for the research method, we collected literature, previous research results, the exhibition catalog, and the related artifacts for analysis. The literature was collected at the German Archaeological Research Institute. The analysis of artifacts was based on data collected by the researchers at the Heremitage Museum in Russia and data was taken by the staff of the Heremitage Museum. The conclusions of this study are as follows: Among the artifacts in the northern region of the Black Sea, it was perviously believed that Scythians status was signified by the wearing of hat-tops. Regardless of age, warriors and knights all wore upper jackets with hats, so it appears that the people who are active wore upper jackets with hats. On the other hand, it was assumed that the royal family, who wore ornamented, colorful, and decorative hats were not observed to have worn upper jackets with hats, and therefore did not require a hat. Therefore, it is considered that the hat in the Scythian society was a costume element emphasizing practicality, not necessarily a class symbol.

국내 캐포츠 스타일 전개 현황 및 디자인 분석 (제1보) (A Study on the Design and Current Status of the Domestic Caports Style (Part 1))

  • The background, concept, and design characteristics of the Caports style, which comes into new domestic fashion trend of sportism, are discussed in this article. Analysis are performed with utilizing pictures, advertizements of fashion magazine such as Vogue Korea, Fashionbiz, Ceci, etc., and photographs from internet sites, domestic papers since 2002. The result of this study is as followings: New life style, arose from the change of social and cultural environment, such as increase in leisure time, fusion and well-being trend, begins to be reflected in caports style in the form of stress on utility and functionality. The caports style is a fusion style based on sports wear with character and fashion. And, it can be adapted as a sports wear and daytime wear. With respect to the form, it emphasizes healthy body line, and as for the material, it strikingly utilizes various and functional materials. It also shows active and cheerful image using bright color, and utilizes functional and decorative details such as line-tape, zipper, hood. 북제 서현수묘 벽화 복식 연구 (A Study on Costume in Mural Painting of Xu Xianxiu Tomb in Northern Qi period)

  • The Mural Tomb of Xu Xianxiu(AD 571), a high ranking official in Northern Qi period, is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, China. Despite having been raided, it was still discovered to contain over 530 pieces, such as artifacts and murals, in excellent state of preservation. These murals are noteworthy for their high level of detail compared to other murals from the same era, and are important for understanding the historical context of active East-West and Han-Hu cultural exchange in the $6^{th}$ to $7^{th}$ century. The murals of Xu Xianxiu's tomb depict round-collared and narrow-sleeved garments as well as straight collared robes typical of the Xianbei tribe's attire. Notable are the ermine fur overcoat and a headwear with flares on the left and right thought to be unique to the Xianbei. The wife and female servants show female attire of the Xianbei at the time; this attire can be characterized by narrow-sleeved long gowns and asymmetrical flying-bird buns. Despite the anti-Han policy of Northern Qi, influences such as the right sided gathering of the robes and embellished hair styles remain. The procession also depicts the three-cornered headdress and long-tailed hood of the Xianbei men, which have been recorded in documents. The large rounded pearl pattern containing the palmette, the divine animal, and bodhisattva's head motifs show the influence of the Western China [Xi'yu]. Considering that Northern Qi had more active interactions with the three ancient kingdoms of Korea than with the Southern Kingdoms[Nanchao], the findings of this study call for further research on the correlation between the attire of ancient Korea and Northern Qi.

하이패션의 스누드(Snood) 코디네이션에 나타난 이미지 (The Image Expressions of High-Fashion Snood Coordination)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the coordination images seen in comprehensive fashion items and their features. This will be done from the viewpoint of both the creativity as well as functional characteristics of items and images. For the method of study, I explored the idea of "snood" style, analyzing its features of 42 pictures appearing from the 2006 S/S to 2010 F/W collection. It is important to note that "snood" style has the characteristics of both a muffler and turtleneck. With looping design connected at both ends, it can be placed around the neck or head, creating the image of wearing a hood. After having examined the selected data and pictures, one can largely divide the exclusive high-fashion image categories into three types: feminine, avant-garde, and finally, active & functional sportive image. First, the orthodox image is widely accepted by most as it has forever evolved within the original tradition of the practically functional muffler(scarf). Second, since the metamorphic image tends to lend itself to free ideas, you can wear a snood around the shoulders like a collar. Worn together with the same type of clothing, the snood can be seen as an effective suit. Third, the aim of image emphasis is to highlight certain points, or make some features more noticeable, as a means of possibly attracting more interest and attention. The image of snood arises out of the use of shapes, colors, and other accessory parts. As mentioned earlier, snood stands out as an independent item instead of just being an accessory to clothing. Its primary function as a style coordinator is emphasized in order to create more distinctive fashion images. Through this study, I thereby intend to provide fashion style data on the latest trends, and high-fashion codes of snood coordination.

방탄소년단의 패션 스타일에 관한 연구 (The Study on the BTS's Fashion Style)

  • 방탄소년단(BTS)은 전 세계 주류 음악 시장에서 한국의 대중음악을 선도하는 그룹으로 자리매김하고 있으며, BTS가 선보이는 다채로운 패션 스타일은 해외 매체나 대중들의 쇼셜 네트워크에 집중 조명될 정도로 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 BTS의 패션 스타일의 분석을 토대로 그들의 패션 경향을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 및 범위는 BTS 및 BTS의 패션이 미치는 영향력에 관련된 이론적 연구와 함께 최근 5년간 방탄소년단의 이미지 자료를 토대로 한 내용 분석 연구를 병행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직선적인 실루엣이 강조된 슈트, 무채색의 활용, 간소화된 장식을 통하여 클래식하면서도 모던한 스타일을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 둥근 어깨선이 강조된 봄버 재킷, 톤 다운된 스키니 진, 후드 티셔츠, 레터링 패턴, 비비드한 색상을 매치하여 자유분방하고 편안한 감성의 캐주얼 스타일을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 슬리브리스의 베스킷볼 셔츠, 라운드 네크라인의 베이스볼 셔츠와 반바지, 트레이닝팬츠, 레터링 패턴이 강조된 오버핏 맨투맨을 활용하여 역동적이고 활동적인 스포티한 스타일을 추구하는 것으로 나타났다.

조리실내의 유해오염물질 제거율에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Removal Efficiency of Harmful Pollutants in the Cooking Chamber)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 조리과정에서 발생한 총휘발성 유기화합물질, 미세먼지, 악취, 총부유세균 등의 오염물질들이 조리실내로 분산되어 실내공간이나 조리업 종사자에게는 나쁜 냄새나 작업환경 및 건강피해를 감소하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 기존 공기청정기의 단점을 보완하고, 반영구적이며, 각종 오염물질을 효율적으로 제거하기 위하여 활성탄과 황토를 결합한 바이오세라믹 필터를 bar type으로 제작한 실내용 소형 공기청정기 개발에 중점을 두었다. 측정항목은 총휘발성 유기화합물, 미세먼지, 복합악취, 총부유세균 등 모두 4가지 항목으로 개발된 공기청정기 가동 전과 일정시간 가동 후를 비교하여 측정하였다. 측정결과, 총휘발성 유기화합물의 농도는 평균 $2,500{\mu}g/m^3$에서 $223{\mu}g/m^3$으로 약 91.02%의 높은 제거효율을 보였으며, 미세먼지의 제거율은 평균 농도가 $26.68{\mu}g/m^3$로서 97.51%의 우수한 제거효과가 나타났으며, 복합악취의 희석배수를 측정한 결과 평균 144로 평균 95.20% 감소하였다. 또 총부유세균은 초기 농도가 $787{\sim}814CFU/m^3$에서 $47{\sim}40CFU/m^3$로 약 94% 이상 제거되는 것을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 개발되어진 공기청정기의 바이오세라믹 필터는 오염물질을 제거하는데 우수한 제거효과를 나타냈다. 따라서 공기청정기를 조리실내에서 환기장치와 렌지후드를 병행하여 사용하면 기존의 열악한 조리실 내의 환경이 크게 개선되어질 것으로 사료된다.

'가난한 연극, 가난한 미술' - 그로토프스키 연극이론과 아르테 포베라 ("Poor Theatre, Poor Art" - Jerzy Grotowsky's Play and Arte Povera)

  • What a concept of theatricality in modern art became more controversial is through a review "art and object-hood" on Michael Fried's minimal art, as having been already known broadly. As he had been concerned, the art following the minimalism is accepting as the very important elements such as the introduction of temporality, the stage in the exhibition space, and the audience's positive participation, enough to be no exaggeration to say that it was involved in almost all the theatricality. Particularly even in the installation art and the environment art, which have substantially positioned since the 1970s, the space is staged, and the audience's participation is greatly highlighted due to the temporal character and the site-specific in works. In such way, the theatricality in art work is today regarded as one of the most important elements. In this context, it is thought to have significance to examine theatricality, which is shown in the works of Arte Povera artists, who had been active energetically between 1967-1971. That is because the name of this group itself is what was borrowed from "Poor Theatre" in Jerzy Grotowski, who is a play director and theorist coming from Poland, and because of having many common points in the aspect of content and form. It reveals that the art called Arte Povera is sharing many critical minds in the face of commanding the field called a play and other media. Grotowski's theatre theory is very close to the theory and substance in Arte Povera in a sense that liberates a play, which was locked in literature, above all, renews the relationship between stage and seat and between actor and audience, and pursues a human being's change in consciousness through this. That is because Arte Povera also emphasizes the communication with the audience through appealing to a human being's perception and through the direct and living method, not the objective art concept of centering on the work. In addition, the poor play or poor art all has tendency that denies a system, which relies upon economic and cultural system, and seeks for what is anti-cultural, elemental, and fundamental. It is very similar even in a sense that focuses on the exploration process itself rather than the result, excludes the transcendental concept, and attaches importance to empiricism. However, Arte Povera accepts contradictoriness and complexity, and suggests eclecticism and tolerance, thereby being basically the nomadic art and the art difficult to be captured constitutively. On the other hand, there is difference in a sense that the poor play is characterized by purity, asceticism, seriousness, and solemnity. If so, which significance does this theatricality, which was introduced to art, ultimately have? As all the arts desire to be revealed with invisible things beyond the visual thing, theatricality comes to play a very important role at this time. If all the artists and audiences today came to acquire actual or virtual freedom much more, that can be said to be a point attributable to that art relied upon diverse conditions in a play.
