저주파 대역의 소음 평가 지수 개선을 위한 창문형 능동 소음 제어기 (An active noise control window system to reduce noise rating in low frequency band)

  • 본 논문에서는 창문형 능동소음제어(Active Noise Control, ANC)의 잔류 소음의 평가 기준으로 실내소음 평가에서 사용하는 NR(Noise Rating)을 적용하고 이 값의 최소화를 위한 능동소음제어기에 대해서 연구하였다. 이를 위해 Filtered-E LMS(Least Mean Square) 알고리즘을 사용하여 사용자가 설정한 유효 동작 주파수 대역 내에서 NR값을 줄이는 노이즈 쉐이핑(noise shaping) 필터의 형상을 제안하였다. 제안한 필터의 유용성은 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였으며, 기존의 심리음향 ANC에서 사용된 필터들과 비교했을 때 잔류 소음의 NR값이 더 낮아지는 것을 보였다.

  • This study presents the active noise control of duct noise. The duct was excited by a steady-state harmonic and white noise force and the control was performed by one control speaker attached to surface of the duct. An adaptive controller based on filtered x LMS(FXLMS) algorithm was used and controller was defined by minimizing the square of the response of the error microphone. The assemble controller, which is called a hybrid ANC(active noise control) system, was combined with feedforward and feedback controller. The feedforward ANC attenuates primary noise that is correlated with the reference signal, while the feedback ANC cancels the narrowband components of the primary noise that are not observed by the reference sensor. Furthermore, in many ANC applications, the periodic components of noise are the most intense and the feedback ANC system has the effect of reducing the spectral peaks of the primary noise, thus easing the burden of the feedforward ANC filter.

교통환경 정온화를 위한 도로 소음의 측정 및 ANC시스템에의 적용 특성 고찰 (A Study on the Characteristics of Applicability in the Active Noise Cancellation System and Measurement of the Road Noise for Traffic Calming)

  • Noise problem that occurs on the road is raising a lot of problems in the economic, social and environmental aspects. The objective of this paper is to propose ANC(active noise cancellation)-based road traffic noise reduction algorithm-model which can reduce noise by generating frequency opposed to noise sources to improve and complement the problem that existing physical form of a noise barrier. In this paper, we measured the noise characteristic from collection of two difference car noise also ANC simulation has been performed by using road traffic noises input. In order to compare the control performance, we performed noise reduction simulation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and delayed control signal injection. As a result of this simulation, we confirmed that convergence performance and noise decrease effect to the filtered-X LMS algorithm by inputting the road traffic noise.

  • 본 연구에서는 능동소음제어(ANC, Active Noise Control) 기술을 이용하여 공동주택의 층간소음을 저감시키는 시뮬레이션 기반 연구를 수행하였다. ANC의 층간소음 저감 활용 가능성을 검토하기 위하여 층간소음시험시설에서 가속도계와 소음 수집용 마이크로폰을 설치하여 임팩트볼 낙하에 의한 소음진동을 측정하여 Fx-LMS 알고리즘 기반의 능동소음제어 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이 과정에서 적응제어 수렴계수 등의 최적 시뮬레이션 조건을 도출한 후 가속도계와 스피커 수량을 변수로 하는 수치 시뮬레이션을 통해 소음저감효과를 분석하여 제한된 조건에서 층간소음을 저감시킬 수 있는 것을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents a novel active noise control (ANC) system using least mean square (LMS) algorithm and neural network approach for decreasing acoustic noise signals inside high-speed trains. We construct a LMS framework as a nominal ANC system and additionally design an artificial single-layered perceptron model as an auxiliary ANC which is aimed to reduce real-time residuary noise due to its nonstationary and uncertain nature. Parameter vector of the hybrid ANC is determined through online estimation to realize an adaptive ANC configuration by means of the steepest descent algorithm. We achieve simulation experiment to demonstrate the proposed ANC system employing realistic acoustic noise signals measured in Korea Train eXpress (KTX).

  • 본 연구에서는 능동소음제어(ANC) 기술을 층간소음 분야에 적용하기 위하여 40~500 Hz 대역의 중량충격음을 제어하기 위한 ANC 시스템을 구성하였다. ANC 시스템에는 Fx-LMS 알고리즘 기반의 적응형 필터를 활용한 피드포워드 방식의 제어기술을 도입하였다. ANC 시스템 설정을 위해 가상 시뮬레이션을 통해 ANC를 구성하는 변수 연구를 실시하였고, 이를 통해 최적 필터와 시스템 배치 방법을 정립하였다. 또한 본 연구에는 개발된 ANC 시스템을 한국건설생활시험연구원(KCL)의 층간소음 시험실에 설치한 후 표준시험방법에 따라 ANC 시스템 구동 전후 4 dB의 층간소음 저감효과를 확인하였다. 시험결과를 통해 본 연구에서 개발한 ANC 시스템이 중량충격음에 대한 등급 기준을 한 단계를 상향시킬 수 있는 수준의 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Most of ANC(active noise control) researches are focused on adaptive algorithms, computer simulations and implementations of single-channel system in experimental environments. In this paper, a multi-channel ANC system based on DSP's was developed to obtain global attenuations over wide region and applied to the active control of the humming noise generated by a transformer. The developed ANC system including 24 microphones and 12 spearkers was applied to the real transformer noise reduction problem. Results showed that the control system could successfully control the humming noise over the region of interest.

  • In this paper, a recurrent cerebellar modulation articulation control (RCMAC) has been developed for improvement of noise attenuation performance in active noise control system. For the narrow band noise, a filter-x least mean square (FXLMS) method has bee frequently employed as an algorithm for active noise control (ANC) and has a partial satisfactory noise attenuation performance. However, noise attenuation performance of an ANC system with FXLMS method is poor for broad band noise and nonlinear path since it has linear filtering structure. Thus, an ANC system using RCMAC is proposed to improve this problem. Some simulations in duct system using harmonic motor noise and KTX cabin noise as a noise source were executed. It is shown that satisfactory noise attenuation performance can be obtained.

도로소음 입력의 ANC시스템에서 실시간 적용의 CLMS 알고리즘의 성능 (Performance of CLMS Algorithm for Real-time Application in ANC Systems of Road Noise Input)

  • Recently, many active noise control (ANC) systems, which employ the adaptive filter controlling method, have been reported for eliminating unwanted noise. ANC systems based on the filtered-X least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm have a problem with compensating the acoustic feedback of secondary route. It is difficult to apply the real time, because transfer function of secondary route must be measured by off-line method to solve this problem. In this paper, we propose the ANC system that applies a correlation LMS(CLMS) algorithm for improving a problem of transfer function measurement. The proposed algorithm is based on input of road noise. The proposed ANC systems have an advantage of real-time process without degradation of performance, although there are many calculation compared with FXLMS algorithm.

NPVSS-NLMS 알.고리즘과 온라인 선형 피드백 경로 모델링을 이용한 비선형 능동 소음 제어 (Nonlinear ANC using a NPVSS-NLMS algorithm and online modelling of an acoustic linear feedback path)

  • Acoustic feedback and background noise variation can degrade the performance of an active noise control (ANC) system. In this paper, nonlinear ANC using a non-parametric VSS-NLMS (or NPVSS-NLMS) algorithm and online feedback path modeling is proposed, whereby the conventional linear ANC with online acoustic feedback-path modeling is further extended to nonlinear Volterra ANC with a linear acoustic feedback path. In particular, the step-size of the NPVSS-NLMS algorithm is controlled to reduce the effect of background noise variation in the ANC system. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach yields better nonlinear ANC performance compared with the conventional nonlinear ANC method.
