자동 세포 분할을 위한 채널 간 상관성 기반 세포 영상의 전처리 알고리즘 (Preprocessing Algorithm of Cell Image Based on Inter-Channel Correlation for Automated Cell Segmentation)

  • 바이오 영상에서 세포 영역의 자동 분할 기술은 생물학자들이 복잡한 세포의 기능을 이해하는데 도움을 주고, 수작업을 통해 세포를 분석하던 일들을 자동적으로 처리해주는 매우 중요한 기술이다. 기존의 멀티채널 영상으로부터 세포핵 및 세포를 분할하는 방법은 DNA 채널을 이용하여 세포핵을 검출하고, 이를 초기 윤곽으로 하여 Actin 채널에서 밝기 기반의 Active Contour 모델을 통해 세포를 분할하는 2 단계의 과정을 거친다. 그러나 세포 분할 과정에서 채널 간 상관성으로 인해 발생하는 세포 내 불균일한 밝기 문제를 고려하지 않은 채, 밝기 기반의 Active Contour 모델을 적용하여 분할의 성능이 저하되는 문제점이 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DNA 와 Actin 채널 간 상관성을 고려하여, DNA 채널 정보를 통해 Actin 채널 내부의 밝기를 균일하게 보정함으로써 밝기 기반의 Active Contour 모델이 세포 분할에 잘 적용 될 수 있는 전처리 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실험을 통해 제안 전처리 과정을 거친 세포 분할 방법의 성능이 기존 방법에 비해 객관적, 주관적으로 크게 향상됨을 증명한다.

Influence of Growth Temperature for Active Layer and Buffer Layer Thickness on ZnO Nanocrystalline Thin Films Synthesized Via PA-MBE

  • Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanocrystalline thin films on various growth temperatures for active layer and different buffer layer thickness were grown by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (PA-MBE) on Si substrates. The ZnO active layer were grown with various growth temperature from 500 to $800^{\circ}C$ and the ZnO buffer layer were grown for different time from 5 to 40 minutes. To investigate the structural and optical properties of the ZnO thin films, scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy were used, respectively. In the SEM images, the ZnO thin films have high densification of grains and good roughness and uniformity at $800^{\circ}C$ for active layer growth temperature and 20 minutes for buffer layer growth time, respectively. The PL spectra of ZnO buffer layers and active layers display sharp near band edge (NBE) emissions in UV range and broad deep level emissions (DLE) in visible range. The intensity of NBE peaks for the ZnO thin films significantly increase with increase in the active layer growth temperature. In addition, the NBE peak at 20 minutes for buffer layer growth time has the largest emission intensity and the intensity of DLE peaks decrease with increase in the growth time.

  • Sound intensity distributions and energy flow in the near field of dipole source system and flat plate were investigated. First, the effectiveness of complex acoustic intensity was proved by using mathmatical and experimental methods in order to indentify noise sources and transmission paths of dipole field which is effected by the presence of neighbouring coherent sources. Next, analytical complex acoustic intensity method was discussed and the characteristics and energy flow of sound induced from the plate are clarified. The velocity of plate obtained from Finite Element Method was used for calculation of complex acoustic intensity in the near field. Finally experimental complex acoustic intensity method was applied to a passenger car. It can be seen that complex acoustic intensity method using both of active and reactive intensity is vital in devising a strategy for the identification and the reduction of vibration and noise.

  • Hippocampus is an important part of brain which is related with early memory storage and spatial navigation. By observing the anatomy of hippocampus, some brain diseases effecting human memory (e.g. Alzheimer, schizophrenia, etc.) can be diagnosed and predicted earlier. The diagnosis process is highly related with hippocampus segmentation. In this paper, hippocampus segmentation using Active Shape Model, which not only works based on image intensity, but also by using prior knowledge of hippocampus shape and intensity from the training images, is proposed. The results show that ASM is applicable in segmenting hippocampus from whole brain MR image. It also shows that adding more images in the training set results in better accuracy of hippocampus segmentation.

  • Considerable part of energy consumption is occurred by through buildings. Especially, Lighting energy consumption is most part of one in building. There is very various ways and systems for saving lighting energy. In method, It can be divided Passive Daylighting System and Active Daylighting System. Louver, Screen and use of window's character is representative ways of passive system. Reflection mirror, optical pipe and optical fiber is representative method of active system. Introducing day light on which place can't be introduced day light by typical method is important advantage of active system. Except introducing day lighting methods, efficient lighting management system can save lighting energy. It called lighting automation system. Representatively, Occupancy-related automation and Brightness-related automation system is that. According to occupancy and introducing daylighting level properly operate lamp's intensity of illumination that can save lots of energy. Though Introducing daylighting method, effective lighting system we can get proper intensity of illuminance level and energy saving.

  • Sound intensity method is well known as a visualization technique of sound field or sound propagation in noise control. Sound intensity or energy flux is a vector quantity which describes the amount and the direction of net flow of acoustic energy at a given position. Especially two dimensional sound intensity method is very useful in evaluating periodic characteristics and acoustic propagation mode of noise source. In this paper, we have studied the noise source Identification, acoustic sound field analysis, and characteristics of noise source of rotary compressor and scroll compressor for air conditioner using complex sound intensity method. Also we proposed a now method of time domain analysis which is used in evaluating of position of noise source in rotary and scroll compressor in this paper This paper presents the advantage, simplicity and economical efficiency of this method by analysing the characteristics of noise source with two dimensional complex sound intensity simultaneously.

  • Characteristics of an active pixel switch readout circuit were studied by SPICE simulation. A simple readout circuit consists of an operation amplifier, a diode, and a down-counter was suggested, and its successful operation was verified by showing that the differences in the detected signal intensity are accordingly converted to modulation of the voltage pulses generated by the comparator. A scheme to use these pulses to generate the original image was also put forward.

복합진동계의 진동 인텐시티 능동 제어 (Active Control of Vibrational Intensity in a Compound Vibratory System)

  • The vibrational intensity and the dynamic response of a compound vibratory system had been controlled actively by means of a feedforward control method. A compound vibratory system consists of a flexible beam and two discrete systems - a vibrating source and a dynamic absorber. By considering the interactive motions between discrete systems and a flexible beam, the equations of motion for a compound vibratory system were derived using a method of variation of parameters. To define the optimal conditions of a controller the cost function, which denotes a time averaged power flow, was evaluated numerically. The possibility of reductions of both of vibrational intensity and dynamic response at a control point located at a distance from a source were fecund to depend on the positions of a source, a control point and a controller. Especially the presence of a dynamic absorber gives the more reduction on the dynamic response but the less on the vibrational intensity than those without a dynamic absorber.

활동적 형태 모델을 이용한 유해영상 탐지 (Active Shape Model-based Objectionable Image Detection)

  • 본 논문에서는 인터넷상에 업로드되는 음란 영상물을 차단하기 위해 활동적 형태 모델(active shape model)을 이용한 유해 영상 탐지 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 활동적 형태 모델을 이용하여 가슴선의 형태를 주성분 분석(Principle Component Analysis)과 정렬을 통해서 학습하고, 각 제어점에 대응하는 화소값 분포를 학습한다. 그리고 학습된 형태와 화소값 분포를 이용하여 가슴선을 찾는다. 본 논문에서는 형태 모델의 초기 위치를 정확하게 선택하기 위해 스케일, 회전, 이동에 관한 파라미터를 추출한다. 이 정보를 획득하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 유두 부분의 위치를 찾고, 유두 위치로부터 모든 방향으로 방사하여 후보 가슴선을 찾는다. 이와 같이 검출한 가슴선 정보를 이용하여 스케일과 회전 값을 찾아 평균 형태(mean shape)를 위치시키고, 활동적 형태 모델을 반복적으로 탐색한다. 최종적으로 수렴한 형태의 제어점(landmark)과 후보 가슴선과의 거리 평균을 계산하여 유해영상의 유무를 판단한다.
