Mebendazole (MBZ), a microtubule depolymerizing drug commonly used for the treatment of helminthic infections, has been suggested as a repositioning candidate for the treatment of brain tumors. However, the efficacy of MBZ needs further study to improve the beneficial effect on the survival of those patients. In this study, we explored a novel strategy to improve MBZ efficacy using a drug combination. When glioblastoma cells were treated with MBZ, cell proliferation was dose-dependently inhibited with an IC₅₀ of less than 1 µM. MBZ treatment also inhibited glioblastoma cell migration with an IC₅₀ of less than 3 µM in the Boyden chamber migration assay. MBZ induced G2-M cell cycle arrest in U87 and U373 cells within 24 h. Then, at 72 h of treatment, it mainly caused cell death in U87 cells with an increased sub-G1 fraction, whereas polyploidy was seen in U373 cells. However, MBZ treatment did not affect ERK1/2 activation stimulated by growth factors. The marked induction of autophagy by MBZ was observed, without any increased expression of autophagy-related genes ATG5/7 and Beclin 1. Co-treatment with MBZ and the autophagy inhibitor chloroquine (CQ) markedly enhanced the anti-proliferative effects of MBZ in the cells. Triple combination treatment with temozolomide (TMZ) (another autophagy inducer) further enhanced the anti-proliferative effect of MBZ and CQ. The combination of MBZ and CQ also showed an enhanced effect in TMZ-resistant glioblastoma cells. Therefore, we suggest that the modulation of protective autophagy could be an efficient strategy for enhancing the anti-tumor efficacy of MBZ in glioblastoma cells.

온 오프라인에서 업체들의 차별화된 마케팅 전략과 특징이 절실하게 요구되며, 자체 경쟁력 확보를 위한 분석과 투자에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 특히, 꽃시장의 경우에 오프라인에서 온라인이 병행되고, 전국시장 네트워크가 형성됨으로써 소규모 업체들의 시장진입과 경쟁력 확보가 매우 어려워지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 온라인 꽃시장 활성화를 위해서 꽃 배달 서비스 강화 방안을 위해 시장에서 상위에 랭크된 사이트 분석과 시장 현황 분석 및 서비스 전략 방안을 제시하며, 이를 실현하기 위한 사이트 구축에 관하여 기술하였다. 이를 통해 꽃 배달 서비스 강화를 통한 꽃 시장 마케팅 활성화와 경쟁력을 통해 시장에서의 입지 강화를 기대해 볼 수 있다.

The objective of this study is to analyze the willingness to change into organic blueberry and the activating strategies on domestic products. For the activation of domestic blueberry, it is necessary to get the quality certification, especially organic certificate and develop the technology for increasing production. It is investigated that the smaller product, younger farmer and higher price expected, the higher willingness to change into organic blueberry. The results and finding of this study can be used to build-up the technical and marketing supporting system that reflects the rapid change of customer's preference on blueberry.

Emergency granulopoiesis is a very important strategy to supply efficient neutrophil number in response to infection. However, molecular mechanism involved in this process remains unclear. Here, we found that administration of WKYMVm, an immune modulating peptide, to septic mice strongly increased neutrophil number through augmented emergency granulopoiesis. WKYMVm-induced emergency granulopoiesis was blocked not only by a formyl peptide receptor 2 (FPR2) antagonist (WRW4), but also by FPR2 deficiency. As progenitors of neutrophils, $Lin^-c-kit^+Sca-1^-$ cells expressed FPR2. WKYMVm-induced emergency granulopoiesis was also blocked by a phospholipase C inhibitor (U-73122). These results suggest that WKYMVm can stimulate emergency granulopoiesis via FPR2 and phospholipase C enzymatic activity.

To gain a national competitive advantage in Northeast Asia, Northeast Asia logistics hub strategy was undertaken by Korean Government. Korean Government had published Northeast Asian Logistics Hub Roadmap including the upbringing of total logistics providers to solve the high logistics cost which weakens the competitive advantage of Korean companies. To solve the high logistics cost, the Government had revised the Korean Physical Distribution Promotion Law for the introduction of certification system of the total logistics provider and enacted the Rules on the Certification of Total Logistics Provider and is going to introduce the certification system of total logistics provider. In this certification system, third party logistics related point is very high, the success in this certification system depends on the strategic alliances of the small and medium size logistics companies. The purpose of this paper is to study certification system of the total logistics provider and contribute to gain the competitive advantage of total logistics provider as global logistics provider.

Despite considerable interest in the biologic processes of regeneration and stem cell activation, little is known about the genes involved in these transformative events. In a Hydra littoralis model of regeneration, we employed a rapid shotgun suppression subtractive hybridization strategy to identify genes that are uniquely expressed in regenerating tissue. With an adaptor-PCR based technique, 16 candidate transcripts were identified, 15 were confirmed unique to mRNA isolated from hydra undergoing regeneration. Of these, 6 were undescribed in GenBank and allied expressed sequence tag (EST) databases (GenBank + EMBL + DDBJ + PDB and the Hydra EST database). BLAST analysis of these sequences identified remarkably similar sequences in anonymous ESTs found in a wide variety of animal species.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning and the function of the shared space in the existing multi-family housing through analyzing the reality and resident's requirement for it, and additionally to develop the research project to investigate its activation strategy. The method of this study was through analyzing the related literature and the existing study. The followings were found out from this study concerning the shared space: 1) Both the supplier and resident of multi-family housing started to recognize the importance of its role with relation to the quality of the home environment. 2) In residents' requirements for it, there was its common elements, and selective differences according to the size of housing, life cycle, and whether housewife has a job or not etc. 3) In order to activate the shared space, we need to search abut using behavior for that, its flexibility of housing regulations, and to develop an effective management program. Finally this study emphasized on the necessity of planning focused on the shared space for the community design in multi-family housing.

The purpose of this study was to develop the strategy on activation of village by forest healing. Researcher conducted the questionnaire survey for forest healing village development to classify the mountain's characteristics by the three factors(linkage resource, program, facilities). In result, village characteristics were divided into two types: single element outstanding type(resource), complex element outstanding type(resource+program, resource+facilities). The development of forest healing village have to focused on the forest healing service recipient and mountain village characteristics. In conclusion, relationship between forest healing recipient and mountain characteristics was as follows: single type (resource) - public; complex type (resource+program) - chronic disease, social vulnerable people; complex type (resource+facilities) - severe disease. The detailed guideline for forest healing village needs to be established according to the mountain characteristics.

This study aims to investigate the residents' and village leaders' complementary demand for the regional economic vitalization and 6th industrialization in the rural. Based on the field expert'(the head of the village or the chairmen of the farming association) interview, the study was conducted. For the study, 42 villages where selected to consider as 6th industry. Cross table were conducted to see if there were any differences of demand and consideration for between the type of 6th industries. This article further improve the rural environment for 6th industrialization, improve the policy measures in that rural can plan the basis for an effective strategy can be.

Neural Networks (henceforth NNs, with adjective "artificial" implied) has been used in the field of control however, has a long way to fit to its abilities. One of the best ways to aid it is "supporting it with the knowledge about the linear classical control theory". In this regard we hive developed two kinds of parametric activation function and then used them in both identification and control strategy. Then using a nonlinear tank system we are to test its capabilities. The simulation results for the identification phase is promising. phase is promising.
