  • In an arcade game, the users can easily predict the monster's action because most of the game monster's action patterns are acted only in the predefined patterns, This paper attempts how to increase the player's satisfaction while making the unpredictable action patterns easily, This research defines and realizes the monster's action patterns through the FSM algorithm. In addition, this paper added the predictable factors of monsters in an action patterns of a game monster to optimize the game, On analyzing the result of game play, the game monster's action was evenly used in the whole playing map and the game monster showed that it operated without the recursion of certain action properly.

  • This paper proposes a method to learn action patterns of opponent characters for intelligent characters. For learning action patterns, intelligent characters learn the past actions as well as the current actions of opponent characters. Therefore, intelligent characters react more properly than ones without the knowledge on action patterns. In addition, this paper proposes a method to learn moving actions whose fitness is hard to evaluate. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we experiment with four repeated action patterns in a game similar to real games. The results show that intelligent characters learn the optimal actions for action patterns and react properly against to random action opponent characters. The proposed method can be applied to various games in which characters confront each other, e.g. massively multiple of line games.

  • In this study, we suggest the system to analyze network users' action patterns by using Data-Mining Technique. We installed Network Tap to implement the analysis system of network action and copied the network packet. The copied packet is stored at the database through MainMemoryDB(MMDB) of the high-speed. The stored data analyze the users' action patterns by using Data-Mining Technique and then report the results to the network manager on real-time. Also, we applied the standard XML document exchange method to share the data between different systems. We propose this action pattern analysis system operated embedded type of SetToBox to install easily and support low price.

  • Many systems rely on reliable timestamps to determine the time of a particular action or event. This is especially true in digital investigations where investigators are attempting to determine when a suspect actually committed an action. The challenge, however, is that objects are not updated at the exact moment that an event occurs, but within some time-span after the actual event. In this work we define a simple model of digital systems with objects that have associated timestamps. The model is used to predict object update patterns for objects with associated timestamps, and make predictions about these update time-spans. Through empirical studies of digital systems, we show that timestamp update patterns are not instantaneous. We then provide a method for calculating the distribution of timestamp updates on a particular system to determine more accurate action instance times.

  • Deformability of RC members in shear is controlled by governing failure modes and material strength. Shear strength of members in D-regions has been explained by a direct load path (direct strut or arch action) and indirect load path (fan action or truss action). Indirect load path including truss action and fan action rely on bond along tension ties. Generally, superposition of two actions results in total shear strength when shear failure modes control. The ultimate deformation depends on controlling failure modes and thereby, their force transfer patterns. Proposed models are capable of explaining of limited deformability of RC members in D-regions.

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to describe the rolling movements of the twenties, 2) to identify developmental sequences of three body regions and 3) to evaluate the influence gender might have on the movement patterns used for rolling. Fifty males(mean 23.2 years of age) and fifty females(mean 21.1 years of age) performed the 10 trials of rolling from a supine to a prone position while being videotaped. Individual videotaped trials were classified using the described categories for upper extremity, lower extremity and head-trunk component. The most common combination of movement patterns described. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Only $16\%$ of males and $12\%$ of females demonstrated a same combination of movements during rolling. 2. Gender differences were found in the incidence of movement patterns of each body region. 3. This study determined if head-trunk anion might develop in advance of limb action. 4. This study determined if upper extremity action might develop in advance of lower extremity action. The variability of adults' rolling movement provides physical therapists with numeous movement combinations that might be used when teaching patterns to rolling.

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose a method of rest to reduce work load of night shift workers for night shift work. The experiment was carried out 10minutes preparing time, 45minutes first work, 10minutes first rest, 45minutes second work, 10minutes second rest between 2 and 4 o'clock that the lowest physiological function of workers. The methods of rest set up as four patterns (1) non-action rest (2) non-action rest + listening music (3) action rest + non-action rest, (4) action rest + non-action rest + listening music. For the measurements of experiment, heart rates(R-R interval), critical flicker fusion frequency(CFF), blood pressure, oral temperature, reaction time and error rates were considered as criteria for work performance. As a result, action rest + non-action rest and action rest + non-action rest + listening music were more effective to reduce work load additional work than non-action rest and non-action rest + listening music.

  • The oxidation-reduction potentials of cosmetic raw materials, showing tyrosinase inhibitory action, and phenolic compounds structurally similar to L-tyrosine were determined by cylcic voltammetry. The voltammograms obtained could be classified ito 4 patterns (patterns 1-4). Patterns 1, characterized by oxidation and reduction peaks as a pair, was observed with catechol, hydroquinone or phenol, and pattern 2 exhibiting another oxidation peak in addition to oxidation and reduction peaks as a pair was found with arbutin, kojic acid, resorcinol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate and L-tyrosine as the substrate of tyrosinase. Pattern 3 with an independent oxidation peak only was expressed by L-ascorbic acid, and pattern 4 with a reduction peak only at high potentials, by hinokitiol. The tyrosinase inhibitory activity of these compounds was also evaluated using the 50% inhibitory concentration ($IC_{50}$) and the inhibition constant (Ki) as parameters. Hinokitiol, classified as patterns 4, showed the highest inhibitory activity (lowest $IC_{50}$ and Ki). Hydroquinone showing the second highest activity belonged to pattern 1, which also included compounds exhibiting pattern 2 was relatively low with Ki values being in the order of 10-4 M. Although there was no consistent relationship between oxidation-reduction potentials and tyrosinase inhibitory action, the voltammetry data can be used as an additional index to establish the relationship between the structure and the tyrosine inhibitory activity.

  • Various literatures related computing of information processing have been recently shown the researches inspired from the remarkably excellent human capabilities which recognize and categorize very complex visual patterns such as body motions and facial expressions. Applied from human's outstanding ability of perception, the classification function of visual sequences without context information is specially crucial task for computer vision to understand both the coding and the retrieval of spatio-temporal patterns. This paper presents a biological process based action recognition model of computer vision, which is inspired from visual information processing of human brain for action recognition of visual sequences. Proposed model employs the structure of neural fields of bio-inspired visual perception on detecting motion sequences and discriminating visual patterns in human brain. Experimental results show that proposed recognition model takes not only into account several biological properties of visual information processing, but also is tolerant of time-warping. Furthermore, the model allows robust temporal evolution of classification compared to researches of action recognition. Presented model contributes to implement bio-inspired visual processing system such as intelligent robot agent, etc.
