  • A counter balance valve is used as one part of hydraulic motor brake system. The function of this valve is to protect over-run or free falling of inertia load. But occasionally the brake system with counter balance valve makes some undesirable problems such as pressure surges or vibrations. In this study, for the purpose of easy estimation about dynamic characteristics of hydraulic system including counter balance valve, precise formulation describing fluid dynamics and valve dynamics under various boundary conditions were made. Dynamic characteristics were analysed by numerical integration using Runge-Kutta method, because the equations in this circuit with counter balance valve contain various nonlinear terms. Propriety of this analysis method is verified by experiment. For the purpose of obtaining fundamental data for preventing instability, this study experimented the effects of the spool taper, spring constant, cylindrical choke. And we developed double acting brake system integrated counter balance valve.

We used three types of club(driver, iron7, pitching wedge). This analysis method can compare between top class golfer and beginner. And the comparison data can be used to correct the swing pose of trainee. If motion analysis system, which can measure the swing speed and instantaneous acceleration at the point of hitting a ball, is combined with this plantar foot force analysis method, new design development of golf shoes to increase comfort and ball flight distance will be available. 1. Address acting, forces concentrated in rare foot regions and lateral foot of right foot. Back swing top acting, relatively high force occurred in medial forefoot region of left foot and forefoot region of right foot. Impact acting, high force value observed in the lateral rarefoot region of left foot and medial forefoot region of right foot. Finish acting, force concentration observed on the lateral region and rarefoot region of left foot. 2. Forces were increased in address of right foot with clubs length increased. All clubs, back swing top acting, high force value observed in the lateral forefoot region of right foot. 한국영화의 할리우드메소드에 관한 인식 양상 (Tendency of Hollywood Method in Korean Film)

  • 국내에서는 영화연기를 의미하는 용어로 메소드연기, 아메리칸액팅메소드 또는 할리우드메소드 등이 혼재되어 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로, 스타니슬랍스키의 연기체계를 미국식으로 수용한 리 스트라스버그의 액터스스튜디오 출신 배우들의 연기를 할리우드메소드로 통칭한다. 국내의 영화배우들이 일컫는 메소드가 무엇인가에 대한 의문에서 이 글은 시작한다. 가정은 할리우드 배우들이 사용하는 메소드를 인용한다는 것이다. 국내의 메소드 수용은 이전의 신파연기에서 벗어나 체계적이고 자연스러운 것처럼 보이는 할리우드메소드가 배우, 연출, 비평, 교육의 영역에 채택되기 시작한 것이다. 국내의 할리우드메소드에 관한 인식을 고찰한 이 글은 한국영화연기의 정체성 탐색을 위한 일환이며, 실제로는 교육과 현장에서 메소드란 용어의 의미를 정확히 이해하고 사용하려는 의도이다. 이 글은 네영역의 관점에서 접근하였다. 첫째, 할리우드메소드에 관한 한국영화배우들의 인식 양상이며, 둘째, 연출스태프 및 기술미학의 관점에서 바라본 할리우드메소드에 관한 인식 태도이며, 셋째, 비평 영역의 연기에 대한 평가 형태이며, 넷째, 대학 전공영역에서 인식되고 수행되고 있는 할리우드메소드에 관한 교육방법이다.

유압실린더를 활용한 틸팅메카니즘 운동특성 평가 시스템 구축에 관한 개념설계 (A Conceptual Design for a Kinetic Performance Test System for the Tilting Mechanism Using Hydraulic Cylinder)

  • In this paper we deal with a kinetic performance test system using hydraulic cylinder. It is possible to measure only current using the conventional electro-mechanical actuator when the bogie is in the process of the tilting. This makes impossible to measure the force acting on the tilting actuator. In order to overcome this problem a kinetic performance test system using hydraulic cylinder is proposed. The proposed system provide easy kinetic evaluation for the tilting mechanism and evaluation for the co-relation between load acting on the tilting actuator and the moving displacement(strock) of the tilting actuator.

직접 구동형 밸브 트레인 시스템의 태핏 회전에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Tappet Spin for a Direct Acting Valve Train System)

  • The technique for measuring the rotational speed of tappet in direct acting type valve train system has been developed. The optic signal monitoring system with laser and optic fiber was designed to follow the signal of tappet rotation. The system was based on ON/OFF signal generation from the additional encoder teeth under the tappet with optic fibers attached photo transistor. The data showed that tappet rotation was affected by offset, oil temperature and cam shaft operating speed. Also it was found that tappet rotation increases with oil temperature. Tappet spin was delayed 10∼s20$^{\circ}$ cam angle after valve opening. The instantaneous rotational speed of tappet was reciprocal to cam shaft speed and the tappet and the cam angle ratio was located in the range of 0.1∼0.3.

An Experimental Evaluation of the Coanda Jet Applied High Efficient Rudder System for VLCC

  • To keep the ocean environment from pollutions, strict international requirements on the controllability are arisen to the VLCC. Especially in low speed operations near the harbor, the VLCC is often supported by tug to replenish the insufficient rudder force. When water jet is blown to the flapped rudder, the Coanda effect induces a high-lift force by delaying stall and re-enforcing circulation in a large angle of attack (Lachmann 1961, Ahn 2003). Based on numerous research efforts, the rudder system supported by the Coanda effect was devised and its performances were evaluated in the towing tank for a large VLCC model. Hydrodynamic forces acting on the rudder system were measured with a water jet blowing on the rudder surface and compared with those acting on a conventional rudder. The effectiveness of the new rudder system was proven through an experimental evaluation.

직접구동 피에조 인젝터의 CRDi 단기통 디젤엔진 연소 특성 분석 (Analysis on Combustion Characteristics of CRDi Single-cylinder Diesel Engine with Direct Needle-driven Piezo Injector)

  • In this study, experimental approaching method was applied under and single-cylinder engine to research the performance of direct needle-driven piezo injector (DPI) for CR direct-injection. As key-point factor of this DPI that relies on direct-acting operating of injector needle, unlike conventional hydraulic-servo, its nozzle needle can be directly driven by piezo actuator. Thus, effect of direct-acting injection of DPI on diesel combustion and emission characteristics was investigated under common-rail single-cylinder direct-injection engine, equipped with three different driving mechanism, including indirect-acting solenoid, piezo and DPI system. As main results, it found that a direct-acting piezo injector has higher of IMEP. And it has higher heat release rate during premixed combustion and mixing controlled combustion phase due to its higher heat release, even though nitrogen oxide (NOx) formations were increased slightly.

  • Performance of DI diesel engine with high-pressure fuel injection equipment is directly related to its emission characteristics and fuel consumption. So, the electro-hydraulic injector for the common-rail injection system should be designed to meet the precise high fuel delivery control capability. Currently, most high pressure injector in use has a needle driven by the solenoid coil energy or the piezo actuator controlled by charge-discharge of output pulse current. In this study, macroscopic spray approaching method was applied under constant volume chamber to research the performance of three different injectors : solenoid, indirect-acting piezo and direct-acting piezo type for CR direct-injection. LED back illumination for Mie scattering was applied on the liquid spray visible of direct-acting piezo injector, including hydraulic-servo type solenoid and piezo-driven injectors. As main results, we found that a direct-acting piezo injector had better a spray tip penetration than hydraulic-servo injectors in spray visualization.

디지털영상연기방법 고찰 - 스타니슬랍스키의 주의집중의 범위를 중심으로 (A Study on Digital Film Acting - Focus on Pratical Use of Stanislavsky's Circle of Attention)

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털시대에 중요한 영상 매체로 대두되는 영화의 연기 방법론에 대해 연구하였다. 사실주의 연극에서 많이 연습되어지는 스타니슬랍스키(Konstantin Sergeevich Stanislavsky, 1863~1938)의 주의집중의 범위를 중심으로 영화에 부합되는 방법들을 고찰하였다. 정신적인 측면만을 고려한 연기 접근 방법이 아닌 영화의 스토리보드를 참고한 신체적인 접근 방법과 마이크 위치를 고려한 사운드의 적응 방법 등을 서술하였다. 스타니슬랍스키의 주의집중의 범위를 통한 인물창조는 사실주의 연극에서 뿐만 아니라 영화에도 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • A study to reduce the transient torque in shifting in automatic transmission has been very important issue. Recently it is really dominant to decrease the torque by using independent-acting hydraulic circuit because we can control the clutch pressure actively and elaborately. So we design the new hydraulic circuit to control the clutches in automatic transmission and make the module library of computer simulations, We apply the results to GM model automatic transmission and carry out 1longrightarrow4 shifting simulations. By this work we recognize the capability of active and elaborate clutch pressure control using new hydraulic circuit. In addition We develop the tool to simulate the powertrain system. It is easier to update and exchange the subsystem model or parameters than conventional simulation tools.
