  • An aerial multi-looking camera system equips itself with five separate cameras which enables acquiring one vertical image and four oblique images at the same time. This provides diverse information about the site compared to aerial photographs vertically. However, multi-looking Aerial Camera for building a 3D spatial information don't use a large-size CCD camera, do uses a medium-size CCD camera, if acquiring forward, backward, left and right imagery of Certain objects, Aerial photographing set overlap and sidelap must be considered. Especially, Sideward-looking camera set up by the sidelap to determine whether a particular object can be acquisition Through our research we analyzed of sideward footprint and aerial photographing efficiency of Multi-view imagery by sidelap changing.

  • In the traditional seismic processing, multiple reflections are treated as noise and therefore they are eliminated during data processing. Recently, however, many studies have begun to consider multiples as signals rather than noise for seismic imaging. Multiple reflections can illuminate an area where primary reflections are not able to cover, thus it is allowed that a smaller number of shots and receivers are used for imaging large areas. In order to verify this, surface-related multiples were used for reverse-time migration (RTM), and then we compared the results with conventional RTM images which are generated from primary reflections. To utilize multiples, we separated multiples from whole seismic data using surface-related multiple elimination (SRME) method. Numerical examples confirmed that the migration using multiples can image wider area than the conventional migration, particularly in the shallow subsurface layers. In addition, the migration of multiples could eliminate the acquisition footprints.

  • Airborne LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology has reached a degree of the required accuracy in mapping professions, and advanced LIDAR systems are becoming increasingly common in the various fields of application. LiDAR data constitute an excellent source of information for reconstructing the Earth's surface due to capability of rapid and dense 3D spatial data acquisition with high accuracy. However, organizing the LIDAR data and extracting information from the data are difficult tasks because LIDAR data are composed of randomly distributed point clouds and do not provide sufficient semantic information. The main reason for this difficulty in processing LIDAR data is that the data provide only irregularly spaced point coordinates without topological and relational information among the points. This study introduces an efficient and robust method for automatic extraction of building footprints using airborne LIDAR data. The proposed method separates ground and non-ground data based on the histogram analysis and then rearranges the building boundary points using convex hull algorithm to extract building footprints. The method was implemented to LIDAR data of the heavily built-up area. Experimental results showed the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method for automatic producing building layers of the large scale digital maps and 3D building reconstruction.

  • Recently, world-wide focusing on the interest for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions associated with climate change and global warming, South Korea also has set up a national greenhouse gas reduction target and action plans seeking to achieve them. In particular, in the construction area, to encourage green building certification of the building and carbon labeling acquisition of building products, in order to reduce the environmental impact caused by the industrial activities have been in steady efforts. Therefore, this study estimates the life cycle carbon footprint of building construction materials applied to carbon emissions reduction technology and analyzes the results. Through the CO2 emissions analysis in construction phase and maintenance phase of the building, it provides basic resource for future research expansion and establishes a step-by-step whole life cycle carbon emissions reduction plan in new construction and existing buildings.

  • The paper shows that the combination of the hardware, NI PCI 6110E board and the software, Fourier and continuous wavelet transform(CWT) can be used to implement for extracting the important features of the real-time signal. The results confirmed that CWT produces the fast computation enough for the application of the real-time signal processing except the negligible time delay. In denoising case, because of the lack of translation invariance of wavelet basis, traditional wavelet thresholding leads to pseudo-Gibbs phenomena in the vicinity of discontinuities of signal. In this paper, in order to reduce the pseudo-Gibbs phenomena, wavelet coefficients are threshold and reconstruction algorithm is implement through shift-invariant gibbs free denoising algorithm based on wavelet transform footprint. The proposed algorithm can potentially be extended to more general signals like piecewise smooth signals and represents an effective solution to problems like signal denoising.
