Purpose: The main objective of this research is to construct an AI-based Composite Supplementary Index (ACSI) model to achieve accurate predictions of the Composite Index of Business Indicators. By incorporating various economic indicators as independent variables, the ACSI model enables the prediction and analysis of both the leading index (CLI) and coincident index (CCI). Methods: This study proposes an AI-based Composite Supplementary Index (ACSI) model that leverages diverse economic indicators as independent variables to forecast leading and coincident economic indicators. To evaluate the model's performance, advanced machine learning techniques including MLP, RNN, LSTM, and GRU were employed. Furthermore, the study explores the potential of employing deep learning models to train the weights associated with the independent variables that constitute the composite supplementary index. Results: The experimental results demonstrate the superior accuracy of the proposed composite supple- mentary index model in predicting leading and coincident economic indicators. Consequently, this model proves to be highly effective in forecasting economic cycles. Conclusion: In conclusion, the developed AI-based Composite Supplementary Index (ACSI) model successfully predicts the Composite Index of Business Indicators. Apart from its utility in management, economics, and investment domains, this model serves as a valuable indicator supporting policy-making and decision-making processes related to the economy.
Purpose: We aimed to investigate whether visuomotor function would be modulated, when healthy subjects performed tracking task after tDCS application over the primary sensorimotor cortex (SM1) in the non-dominant hemisphere. Methods: Thirty four right-handed healthy participants were enrolled, who randomly and evenly divided into two groups, real tDCS group and sham control group. Direct current with intensity of 1 mA was delivered over SM1 for 15 minutes. After tDCS, tracking task was measured, and their performance was calculated by an accuracy index (AI). Results: No significant difference in AI at the baseline between the two groups was observed. The AI of the real tDCS group was significantly increased after electrical stimulation, compared to the sham control group. Two way ANOVA with repeated measurement showed a significant finding in a large main effects of time and group-by-repeated test interaction. Conclusion: This study indicated that application of the anodal tDCS over the SM1 could facilitate higher visuomotor coordination, compared to sham tDCS group. These findings suggest possibility that tDCS can be used as adjuvant brain modulator for improvement of motor accuracy in healthy individuals as well as patients with brain injury.

This study aims to verify the accuracy of the air quality management system in Yangju City using an artificial intelligence (AI) evaluation model. The consistency and reliability of fine dust data were assessed by comparing public data from the Ministry of Environment with data from Yangju City's air quality management system. To this end, we analyzed the completeness, uniqueness, validity, consistency, accuracy, and integrity of the data. Exploratory statistical analysis was employed to compare data consistency. The results of the AI-based data quality index evaluation revealed no statistically significant differences between the two datasets. Among AI-based algorithms, the random forest model demonstrated the highest predictive accuracy, with its performance evaluated through ROC curves and AUC. Notably, the random forest model was identified as a valuable tool for optimizing the air quality management system. This study confirms that the reliability and suitability of fine dust data can be effectively assessed using AI-based model performance evaluation, contributing to the advancement of air quality management strategies.

Rule set is an important step which impacts significantly on accuracy of object-oriented classification result. Therefore, this paper proposes a rule set to extract land cover from Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) imagery acquired in Donganh, Hanoi, Vietnam. The rules were generated to distinguish five classes, namely river, pond, residential areas, vegetation and paddy. These classes were classified not only based on spectral characteristics of features, but also indices of water, soil, vegetation, and urban. The study selected five indices, including largest difference index max.diff; length/width; hue, saturation and intensity (HSI); normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and ratio vegetation index (RVI) based on membership functions of objects. Overall accuracy of classification result is 0.84% as the rule set is used in classification process.

This paper presents a method for predicting the threat index of combat systems using Gradient Boosting Regressors and Support Vector Regressors among machine learning models. Currently, combat systems are software that emphasizes safety and reliability, so the application of AI technology that is not guaranteed to be reliable is restricted by policy, and as a result, the electrified domestic combat systems are not equipped with AI technology. However, in order to respond to the policy direction of the Ministry of National Defense, which aims to electrify AI, we conducted a study to secure the basic technology required for the application of machine learning in combat systems. After collecting the data required for threat index evaluation, the study determined the prediction accuracy of the trained model by processing and refining the data, selecting the machine learning model, and selecting the optimal hyper-parameters. As a result, the model score for the test data was over 99 points, confirming the applicability of machine learning models to combat systems.
Tracking is an experimental paradigm that can be used to study information processing in continuous movements involving accurate, ongoing control of motor performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of knee tracking performance. Six patients with hemiplegia and six age-matched controls participated in the study. The tracking test was administrated. It was composed with regular ranges of $0^{\circ}C$ to $40^{\circ}C$ and randomized range .2 to .4 Hz. Using the Mann-Whitney U test, a comparison was made between subjects who had suffered from stroke and subjects who were well coordinated. The Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Signed Ranks Test was used to compare and analyze the paretic and nonparetic sides of the stroke patients. The results of study were as follows: accuracy index of the tracking test was significantly higher on the control side than paretic and nonparetic sides. Accuracy index scores were significantly higher for nonparetic sides with stroke compared with paretic sides with stroke. This study shows tracking is impaired in paretic and nonparetic knee of subjects with stroke.

In Korea, Korea Proven Bulls (KPN) program has been well-developed. Breeding and evaluation of cows are also an essential factor to increase earnings and genetic gain. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of cow breeding value by using three methods (pedigree index [PI], pedigree-based best linear unbiased prediction [PBLUP], and genomic-BLUP [GBLUP]). The reference population (n = 16,971) was used to estimate breeding values for 481 females as a test population. The accuracy of GBLUP was 0.63, 0.66, 0.62 and 0.63 for carcass weight (CWT), eye muscle area (EMA), back-fat thickness (BFT), and marbling score (MS), respectively. As for the PBLUP method, accuracy of prediction was 0.43 for CWT, 0.45 for EMA, 0.43 for MS, and 0.44 for BFT. Accuracy of PI method was the lowest (0.28 to 0.29 for carcass traits). The increase by approximate 20% in accuracy of GBLUP method than other methods could be because genomic information may explain Mendelian sampling error that pedigree information cannot detect. Bias can cause reducing accuracy of estimated breeding value (EBV) for selected animals. Regression coefficient between true breeding value (TBV) and GBLUP EBV, PBLUP EBV, and PI EBV were 0.78, 0.625, and 0.35, respectively for CWT. This showed that genomic EBV (GEBV) is less biased than PBLUP and PI EBV in this study. In addition, number of effective chromosome segments (Me) statistic that indicates the independent loci is one of the important factors affecting the accuracy of BLUP. The correlation between Me and the accuracy of GBLUP is related to the genetic relationship between reference and test population. The correlations between Me and accuracy were -0.74 in CWT, -0.75 in EMA, -0.73 in MS, and -0.75 in BF, which were strongly negative. These results proved that the estimation of genetic ability using genomic data is the most effective, and the smaller the Me, the higher the accuracy of EBV.
A widely used method for monitoring land cover using high-resolution satellite images is to classify the images based on the colors of the objects of interest. In urban areas, not only major objects such as buildings and roads but also vegetation such as trees frequently appear in high-resolution satellite images. However, the colors of vegetation objects often resemble those of other objects such as buildings, roads, and shadows, making it difficult to accurately classify objects based solely on color information. In this study, we propose a method that can accurately classify not only objects with various colors such as buildings but also vegetation objects. The proposed method uses the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) image, which is useful for detecting vegetation objects, along with the RGB image and classifies objects into subclasses. The subclass classification results are fused, and the final classification result is generated by combining them with the image segmentation results. In experiments using Compact Advanced Satellite 500-1 imagery, the proposed method, which applies the NDVI and subclass classification together, showed an overall accuracy of 87.42%, while the overall accuracy of the subchannel classification technique without using the NDVI and the subclass classification technique alone were 73.18% and 81.79%, respectively.

This study evaluates the accuracy in identifying the burned area in South Korea using multi-temporal data from Sentinel-2 MSI and Landsat 8/9 OLI. Spectral indices such as the Difference Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR), Relative Difference Normalized Burn Ratio (RdNBR), and Burned Area Index (BAI) were used to identify the burned area in the March 2022 forest fire in Uljin. Based on the results of six indices, the accuracy to detect the burned area was assessed for four satellites using Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8/9, respectively. Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8/9 produce images every 16 and 10 days, respectively, although it is difficult to acquire clear images due to clouds. Furthermore, using images taken before and after a forest fire to examine the burned area results in a rapid shift because vegetation growth in South Korea began in April, making it difficult to detect. Because Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8/9 images from February to May are based on the same date, this study is able to compare the indices with a relatively high detection accuracy and gets over the temporal resolution limitation. The results of this study are expected to be applied in the development of new indices to detect burned areas and indices that are optimized to detect South Korean forest fires.
AI intelligent agriculture and digital agriculture are important for the science of agriculture. Leaf chlorophyll contents(LCC) are one of the most important indicators to determine the growth status of vegetable crops. In this study, a support vector machine (SVM) regression model was produced using an unmanned aerial vehicle-based RGB camera and a multispectral (MSP) sensor for onions and garlic, and the LCC estimation applicability of the RGB camera was reviewed by comparing it with the MSP sensor. As a result of this study, the RGB-based LCC model showed lower results than the MSP-based LCC model with an average R2 of 0.09, RMSE 18.66, and nRMSE 3.46%. However, the difference in accuracy between the two sensors was not large, and the accuracy did not drop significantly when compared with previous studies using various sensors and algorithms. In addition, the RGB-based LCC model reflects the field LCC trend well when compared with the actual measured value, but it tends to be underestimated at high chlorophyll concentrations. It was possible to confirm the applicability of the LCC estimation with RGB considering the economic feasibility and versatility of the RGB camera. The results obtained from this study are expected to be usefully utilized in digital agriculture as AI intelligent agriculture technology that applies artificial intelligence and big data convergence technology.
