A transparotid approach, with a retromandibular or preauricular incision, is an alternative surgical approach for treating a subcondylar fracture and reducing the potential for complications such as injury to the facial nerves. However, retromandibular and preauricular incisions are both created far away from the parotid gland-dissection area. Thus, it is necessary to undermine the skin and retract it anteriorly to access the surgical field. Here, we introduce a modified approach wherein the incision allows for direct access to the fracture site. This approach may be adopted to shorten the incision length, reduce the retraction trauma at the surgical site, and help prevent injury to the facial nerve.

오늘날 많은 서비스 지원이 웹 사이트를 통해 제공되고 있다. 웹 사이트의 이용 및 효율성을 최적화하기 위하여 방문자들의 이용 패턴 분석이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 BPI Challenge 2016에서 제공하는 웹 사이트 접속 로그를 분석하여 이용 패턴 분석 및 이용자 그룹별 비교 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 이 데이터는 네덜란드 고용보험사(UWV)의 IT 시스템의 웹 사이트 접속 로그를 제공하며, 고객의 인적 정보, 해당 기관의 웹 사이트를 사용할 때의 고객 행동을 설명하는 클릭 데이터 등의 대한 정보를 포함하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 프로세스 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 사용 고객의 사용 패턴과 고객 그룹 간 특징을 분석하여, 궁극적으로 웹 서비스를 이용하는 고객들을 대상으로 서비스 품질을 향상시키고자 한다.

포털사이트는 검색엔진을 넘어 사이버스페이스 자체를 의미할 정도로 개념과 영역이 확대되었다. 일반인들뿐만 아니라, 필요로 하는 학술정보가 서비스되기 때문에 연구자도 포털사이트를 많이 이용한다. 그동안 포털의 검색은 얼마나 많은 정보를 검색하게 해 줄 것인가 하는 양적인 면에 관심을 두었다. 그러나 최근에는 검색의 질에 보다 관심이 많아지고 있다. 이 논문은 포털이 제공하는 학술정보검색의 문제점을 분석하고, 비교적 신뢰성을 인정받는 사전 서비스와 학술정보를 연계함으로써 학술정보검색의 질을 향상하기 위한 시범적인 시도이다. 즉, 검증되고 압축적으로 정리된 사전의 표제어와 해당 표제어를 키워드로 하는 권위 있는 연구 성과를 연계시킴으로써, 사전을 검색할 때 주제어 관련 연구 성과까지 검색할 수 있게 하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Ethernet passive optical networks (PONs) are an emerging access network technology that provides a low-cost method of deploying optical access lines between a carrier's central office and a customer site. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm of dynamic bandwidth allocation for multimedia services over Ethernet PONs. To implement the suggested dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm, we present control message formats that handle classified bandwidths in a multi-point control protocol of Ethernet PONs.

Recent trends require that access to the device/equipment information be provided from several locations or anywhere in the enterprise. One example is virtual machine/manufacturing system (VMS) where predictive maintenance is performed both on factory floor and in remote site through internet ［1］. Internet access is increasingly available and affordable, and along with the "internet" is the backbone of modern enterprise data networks. Typical functions of such a system includes monitoring and control for diagnosis and remedy action in realizing preventive maintenance.(omitted)

The code division multiple access (CDMA) system capacity is limited by the amount of interference of the system. To reduce the unnecessary interference, this paper proposes optimized cell identification (ID) codes for site selection diversity transmission (SSDT) power control in wideband code division multiple access system of third generation partnership project (3GPP). The proposed SSDT cell ID codes are designed to minimize the problem and to be easily decoded using simple fast Hadamard transformation (FHT) decoder.

현재 무선 인터넷 환경에서 모바일 장치를 사용하여 빠르게 웹사이트에 접근하는 것은 웹사이트 성능측정과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 웹사이트에 접속 할 때 시간이 많이 소요되면 이용자는 해당 웹사이트를 벗어나고 더 이상 접속하지 않는 특징을 가지고 있다. 이 때 웹사이트의 어떤 문제점으로 인하여 접속이 지연되는지 성능을 측정하고, 분석하여 웹사이트의 성능을 개선하여야 한다. 대부분의 전자상거래 사업 분야에서 웹기반 서비스로 개발되고 있는 상황에서 웹사이트의 성능측정요소들 중에서 웹 페이지의 로딩 시간은 성공적인 서비스 비즈니스를 위한 매우 중요한 요소이다. 오픈소스 툴을 사용하여 전자상거래 웹페이지의 성능을 분석하여 문제점과 소프트웨어적 최적화 방법과 하드웨어적 최적화 방법을 제시하였다. 두 최적화 방법을 환경에 알맞게 적용하면 안정적이며 전자상거래 웹사이트 운영이 가능해 질 것이다.

웹 사이트의 구조가 정확하게 주어진다면, 정보 제공자의 입장에서는 사용자의 행위 패턴이나 특성을 효과적으로 파악할 수 있어 보다 나은 서비스를 제공할 수 있고, 사용자의 입장에서는 더욱 쉽고 정확하게 유용한 정보를 찾을 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 웹상의 문서들은 빈발하게 수정되기 때문에 웹 사이트의 구조를 정확하게 추출하는 것은 상당한 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 웹 사이트의 구조를 자동으로 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 두 단계로 구성된다. 첫 번째 단계는 웹 문서를 분석하여 그들 간의 하이퍼링크를 추출하고 이를 웹 사이트의 구조를 나타내는 방향 그래프로 표현한다. 하지만 플래시나 자바 애플릿에 포함된 하이퍼링크는 추출할 수 없는 한계가 있다. 두 번째 단계에서는 이러한 숨겨진 하이퍼링크를 추출하기 위하여 웹 사이트의 접근로그를 이용한다. 즉, 접근로그로부터 각 사용자의 클릭스트림을 추출한 후, 첫 번째 단계에서 생성한 그래프와 비교하여 숨겨진 하이퍼링크를 추출한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 다양한 실험을 수행하였고, 이러한 실험을 통하여 웹 사이트의 구조를 보다 정확하게 추출할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

The primary function of an electronic records management system (ERMS) is to support organisations in providing effective records management services by enabling efficient remote access to the organisations' records. This helps the organisation to continue running during emergency events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The need to study ERMS for accessing records remotely has increased dramatically, due to the increase in daily use. The situation arising from the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for implementing proper digital systems, such as ERMS, to enable efficient work processes and enhance business continuity. An ERMS has the potential to allow organisations to create records and workflows off-site. During a pandemic, the ability to structure processes digitally helps in maintaining operations remotely. This study aims to provide a narrative review of the ERMS literature with an emphasis on explaining the primary components of ERMS that act as enablers for the implementation of the system in the oil and gas sector of developing countries. The current study proposes ERMS roles and responsibilities that could enhance business continuity. The authors use a qualitative narrative review and analyse the literature related to this study and its findings. The results show that, in cases of risk or crises, staff members need to have easy access to their records and documents to remain productive. An ERMS allows professionals to remain active and work off-site. Thus, ERMS play a significant role in protecting an organisation's content through the monitoring and control over who has authorisation to access its records.
