오늘날 해양자원 개발 및 연구에 대한 중요성이 크게 증대됨에 따라 수중센서네트 관련 분야에 대한 많은 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 그러나 대부분의 연구가 단일 게이트웨이(Gateway)를 갖는 토폴로지(Topology)를 고려하여 진행되고 있다. 그러나 실제 수중센서 네트워크의 모델을 살펴보면 신뢰성을 보장하기 위해 다수의 게이트웨이가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 연구와 달리 복수의 게이트웨이를 갖는 보다 실제적인 수중센서 네트워크 환경에서 효율적인 통신을 위하여 각 노드들 간의 데이터 충돌을 최소화하고 수중센서 네트워크의 QoS(Quality of Service)를 보장할 수 있는 MAC(Media Access Control) 프로토콜을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 프로토콜과 기존 수중센서 네트워크를 위한 MAC과의 성능을 비교하고 평가한다.

본 논문은 CORBA/SNMP 게이트웨이의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. 게이트웨이는 기존의 망관리 시스템들을 CORBA를 이용하여 통합하는데 이용된다. 본 논문의 통합 망관리 시스템은 웹과 CORBA 기술을 이용하여 구현된다. 웹은 분산 응용프로그램들에 플랫폼에 독립적이고 사용하기 쉬운 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하고, CORBA는 서로 다른 망관리 모델들을 효과적으로 통합하기 위해 사용된다. 기존의 피관리 객체들을 그대로 수용하기 위해, 제안된 통합 망관리 시스템은 서로 다른 망관리 모델 사이에 변환 게이트웨이를 사용한다. 통합 망관리 서버는 망관리 연산을 위해 기능이 확장된 웹 서버와 변환 게이트웨이들로 구성되는데, 본 논문에서는 CORBA/SNMP 게이트웨이의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. CORBA/SNMP 게이트웨이는 CORBA와 SNMP관리 모델 사이의 관리정보 및 관리연산 변환을 위한 정적, 동적 변환 기능을 수행한다. CORBA/SNMP 게이트웨이는 SNMP MIB에 대한 CORBA뷰를 제공하여, CORBA 관리자들로 하여금 SNMP에이전트들을 CORBA 연산들을 통해 접근할 수 있도록 하여준다. 또한 CORBA/SNMP게이트웨이는 SNMP 에이전트에서 발생한 통지(trap)를 받아, 그 통지를 받기를 원하는 CORBA 관리자들에 전달하는 역할을 수행한다.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어를 위한 분산형 게이트웨이 시스템을 제안 및 설계하였다. 게이트웨이를 이용하여 생체신호를 지그비 모듈에서 게이트웨이로 이 게이트웨이에서 데이터베이스 간의 원활한 정보 교환을 위한 프로토콜 변환 알고리즘을 설계 및 구현하였다. 분산형 게이트웨이 시스템은 생체 신호 획득센서, 지그비 모듈, 분산형 게이트웨이 그리고 데이터베이스로 구성되며 생체센서에 감지되면 지그비 모듈을 통해 게이트웨이로 전송된다. 분산형 게이트웨이에서는 전송받는 데이터를 분석하여, 환자를 모니터링하게 된다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법의 타당성을 검토하고자 센서 네트워크, 분산형 게이트웨이 그리고 데이터베이스를 구현하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였으며 기존의 방법에 비하여 우수한 성능을 보였다. 제안한 방법의 시스템은 향 후 독거노인 활동량 분석, 방범 시스템, 홈 네트워크 서비스 등. 다양한 분야에서 활용 가능하다.

사물 인터넷(IoT)은 효율적인 시간 응답 및 처리를 위해 이벤트 중심으로 접근 할 필요가 있다. IoT에서 모바일 기기의 성장은 IoT 응용 프로그램과 관련이 있는 지능형 건물로 연결이 된다. 예를 들어, 홈 오토메이션 제어 시스템은 홈 서버에 액세스하기 위해 스마트 폰이나 웹 서비스에 클라이언트 시스템과 같은 웹 응용 프로그램을 사용하여 제어 명령을 전송 합니다. 홈 서버는 클라이언트 시스템으로부터 명령을 수신 받은 후 조명 시스템을 제어 한다. 게이트웨이 기반의 클라이언트 처리 담당인 RESTful 기술은 '인터넷상에 숨어있는 다수의 클라이언트들에 대한 증명'을 요청한다. 본 논문에서는 동시성 이벤트를 처리하기 위한 IoT 게이트웨이의 설계 작업을 제안한다. NodeJS의 통신프로토콜 기반의 메시지 지향 미들웨어인 XMPP는 중앙 허브를 통해 게이트웨이에 접속하여 지능형 빌딩 제어 장치의 통신 부분을 처리한다.

Integration of mobile networks and Internet has started with 2.5 generation of mobile cellular networks. Internet traffic is today dominant traffic type worldwide. The hanger for higher data rates needed for data traffic and new IP based services is essential in the development of future wireless networks. In such situation, even 3G with up to 2 Mbit/s has not provided data rates that are used by Internet users with fixed broadband dial-up or through wired local area networks. The solution to provide higher bit rates in wireless access network has been found in wireless LAN although initially it has been developed to extend wired LAN into wireless domain. In this paper, we propose and describe a solution created for interoperability between mobile cellular network and WLAN. The integration between two networks, cellular and WLAN, is performed on the authentication, authorization, and accounting, i.e., AAA side. For that purpose we developed WLAN access controller and WLAN AAA gateway, which provide gateway-type access control as well as charging and billing functionalities for the WLAN service. In the development process of these elements, we have considered current development stadium of all needed network entities and protocols. The provided solution provides cost-effective and easy-to-deploy PLMN-WLAN Internetworking scenario.

본 논문에서는 PSTN과 PSDN망의 통합 망 설계 기술에 대하여 연구하였다. 망 구조모델은 소프트 스위칭과 액세스 게이트 웨이을 이용함으로써, 기존의 SONET기반 네트워크가 제공해줄 수 없는 대역폭 대비 사용료와 실시간/웹기반의 다양한 서비스를 창출할 수 있다. 또한 각 영역의 수행기능과 지역 망의 가입자 구축에 있어서 각 망을 지역권으로 구분함으로써 망복구능력이 탁월하다. 전용망 사용비용으로 대체되기 때문에 통신비용의 대폭적인 절감과 부수적으로 자체적인 통신망 활용을 극대화할 수 있다는 것이다.

As there are needs to search the Web information via wire or wireless telephones, VoiceXML forum was established to develop and promote the Voice eXtensible Markup Language (VoiceXML). VoiceXML simplifies the creation of personalized interactive voice response services on the Web, and allows voice and phone access to information on Web sites, call center databases. Also, it can utilize the Web-based technologies, such as CGI(Common Gateway Interface) scripts. In this paper, we have developed the voice portal service platform based on VoiceXML called TeleGateway. It enables integration of voice services with data services using the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-To-Speech (TTS) engines. Also, we have showed the various services on voice portal services.

This paper analyzes performance measures of a Bluetooth_based mobile home network system. The home network system consists of terminals with Bluetooth interfaces, access points (AP), a home PC, and a gateway A mobile host in wireless terminals uses Mobile IP for supporting the mobility This paper considers four types of data traffic, which are new connection traffic, handoff traffic, Internet data traffic, and control data traffic and suggests a queueing system model of the home network system, where the AP and the home PC are modeled as M/G/1 with four priority queues and the gateway is modeled as M/G/1 with a single queue The generation rate and service time of individual traffic influence their performance measures. Based ell the suggested model, we propose the elapsed time of data traffic in terms of the number of cells, the number of Home PCs, arrival rates of four types of traffic and the service rates of AP/Home PCs/Gateway To analyze influences on the elapsed time with respect to arrival rate of four types of traffic, some examples are given.

현재의 CDMA(code-division multiple access) 셀룰러망을 이용한 통신은 비교적 낮은 전송률을 가지고 있어 대용량의 데이터들을 포함하는 웹 문서 및 대량의 투선 마크업 언어(WML: Wireless Markup Language) 문서의 전송 속도면에서 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 대한 대안으로 해결을 위하여 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) 포럼 내에서는 기본적으로 휴대용 기기나 모바일 기기에 최적화한 마이크로브라우저의 규격을 명시함은 물론 프로토콜 전판이나 모빌컴퓨터에 맞는 데이터전송을 최적화시킴으써 무선네트워크와 유선 인터넷간의 게이트웨이 기능을 하는 프록시서버 규격도 확립하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점을 고려하여 Gateway 내에서 프로토콜을 변환하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.

In distributed computing paradigm, mobile surrogate systems migrates from on host in a network to another. However, Mobile surrogate system have not gained wide acceptance because of security concerns that have not been suitably addressed yet. In this paper, we propose a security framework based on Grid Proxy Gateway for mobile Grid service. The current Grid Security Infrastructure is extended to mobile computing environments. The surrogate host system designed for mobile Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) users can access the certified host and get his proxy credential to launch remote job submission securely.
