  • Recently, digital transformation in manufacturing has been accelerating. It results in that the data collection technologies from the shop-floor is becoming important. These approaches focus primarily on obtaining specific manufacturing data using various sensors and communication technologies. In order to expand the channel of field data collection, this study proposes a method to automatically collect manufacturing data based on vision-based artificial intelligence. This is to analyze real-time image information with the object detection and tracking technologies and to obtain manufacturing data. The research team collects object motion information for each frame by applying YOLO (You Only Look Once) and DeepSORT as object detection and tracking algorithms. Thereafter, the motion information is converted into two pieces of manufacturing data (production performance and time) through post-processing. A dynamically moving factory model is created to obtain training data for deep learning. In addition, operating scenarios are proposed to reproduce the shop-floor situation in the real world. The operating scenario assumes a flow-shop consisting of six facilities. As a result of collecting manufacturing data according to the operating scenarios, the accuracy was 96.3%.

  • Bioflavone quercetin is believed to play an important role preventing bone loss by affecting osteoclastogenesis and regulating many systemic and local factors including hormones and cytokines. This study examined how quercetin acts on tumor necrosis factor-alpha ($TNF-{\alpha}$)-mediated apoptosis in MC3T3-E1 osteoblastic cells. Apoptosis assays revealed the dose-dependent acceleration of quercetin on $TNF-{\alpha}-induced$ apoptosis in MC3T3-E1 cells, which was demonstrated by the increased number of positively stained cells in the trypan blue staining and TUNEL assay, and the migration of many cells to the $sub-G_0/G_1$ phase in flow cytometric analysis. In particular, quercetin treatment alone increased the expression of p53 and p21 proteins in the cells. Consequently, this study showed that quercetin accelerates the $TNF-{\alpha}-induced$ apoptosis in MC3T3-E1 osteoblastic cells.

  • We investigate the availability of $CO_2$ ocean storage by means of chemical conversion of $CO_2$ to the dissolved inorganic carbon (mainly the bicarbonate ion) in seawater. The accelerated weathering of limestone (AWL) technique, which is accelerating the natural $CO_2$ uptake process through the chemical conversion using limestone and seawater, was proposed as an alternative method for reducing energy-related $CO_2$ emission. The method presented in this paper is slightly different from the AWL method. It involves reacting $CO_2$ with seawater and quicklime obtained from alkaline wastes to produce the bicarbonate-rich solution over 100 times more than seawater, which could be released and diluted into the ocean. The released dense bicarbonate-enriched water mass could subside into the deeper layer because of the density flow, and could be sequestrated stably in the ocean.

  • The usage of a stationary plasma thruster (SPT) ion source, invented previously for space application in Russia, in experiments with surface modifications and film deposition systems is reported here. Plasma in the SPT is formed and accelerated in electric discharge taking place in the crossed axial electric and radial magnetic fields. Brief description of the construction of specific model of SPT used in the experiments is presented. With gas flow rate 39ml/min, ion current distributions at several distances from the source are obtained. These was equal to 1~3 mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$ within an ion beam ejection angle of $\pm$20$^{\circ}$with discharge voltage 160V for Ar as a working gas. Such an extremely high ion current density allows us to obtain the Ti metal films with deposition rate of $\AA$/sec by sputtering of Ti target. It is shown a possibility of using of reactive gases in SPT (O2 and N2) along with high purity inert gases used for cathode to prevent the latter contamination. It is shown the SPT can be operated at the discharge and accelerating boltages up to 600V. The results of presented experiments show high promises of the SPT in sputtering and surface modification systems for deposition of oxide thin films on Si or polymer substrates for semiconductor devices, optical coatings and metal corrosion barrier layers. Also, we have been tried to establish in application of the modeling expertise gained in electric and ionic propulsion to permit numerical simulation of additional processing systems. In this mechanism, it will be compared with conventional DC sputtering for film microstructure, chemical composition and crystallographic considerations.

  • As the integration in semiconductor display develops, semiconductor process becomes multilayer. In order to form several layer patterns, etching process which uses photoresistor (PR) must be performed in multilayer process. Repeated etching processes which take long time and PR residue cause mortal problems in semiconductor. To overcome such problems, we studied about the solution which eliminates PR effectively by using normal dry and wet etching method using plasma activated PR strip solvent in liquid condition. At first, we simulate the device which activates the plasma and make sure whether gas flow in device is uniform or not. Under activated plasma, etching effect is elevated. This improvement reduces etching time as well as display production time of semiconductor process. Generally, increasing etching process increases environmental hazards. Reducing etching process can save the etchant and protect environment as well.

  • Objectives: Myocardial reperfusion is the only logical cure for ischemic heart disease. However, ischemic-reperfusion (I/R) injury is one of the underlying factors facilitating and accelerating the apoptosis in the myocardium. This study set to investigate the impact of Teucrium polium (TP) hydro-alcoholic extract on I/R induced apoptosis in the isolated rat heart. Methods: Isolated rat hearts were classified into six groups. The control samples were subjected to 80 min of perfusion with Krebs-Henseleit bicarbonate (KHB) buffer; in control-ischemia group, after primary perfusion (20 min) the hearts were exposed to global ischemia (20 min) and reperfusion (40 min). Pretreated groups were perfused with $500{\mu}M$ of vitamin C and various TP concentrations (0.5, 1, 2 mg/ml) for 20 min, and then the hearts were exposed to ischemia and reperfusion for 20 min and 40 min, respectively. Cardiodynamic parameters including rate pressure product (RPP), heart rate (HR), the maximum up/down rate of left ventricular pressure (${\pm}dp/dt$), left ventricular developed pressure (LVDP), and coronary artery flow (CF) were achieved from Lab Chart software data. The Bax and BCl-2 gene expressions were measured in heart samples. Results: Hearts treated with TP extract and vit C represented a meaningful improvement in cardiac contractile function and CF. The overexpression of Bcl-2, downregulation of Bax, and improvement of apoptotic index (Bax/Bcl-2) were observed in pretreated TP extract and vit C hearts. Conclusion: The TP extract was found to ameliorate the cardiac function in the reperfused myocardium. Also, it can hinder apoptotic pathways causing cardioprotection.

  • Innovation plays a large role in green growth. While it is a widely accepted view that, without innovation, it would be very difficult and costly to address major environmental issues, innovation itself tends to be constrained by limited access to eco-financing and is inherently risky, often requiring a long-term horizon. Although global consensus is more or less established as to the urgency and necessity of accelerating green innovation, the quality and quantity of financing in this area is largely insufficient, with increasing funding gaps in many countries. A new financial mechanism is urgently needed in order to re-orient financial flow and enable innovators to overcome the valleys of death that occur throughout the innovation cycle. A number of different modalities exist in financing the commercialisation of eco-innovation. Existing mechanisms have not been as successful as expected, revealing critical limits to furthering certain types of projects that are essential for economic and environmental progress. Experts' estimations have shown that the funding gap will widen in the coming years as demand for clean energy and green infrastructure rises, and as green technologies and innovation develop faster than the market for it can develop. Against this backdrop, the main purpose of this research is threefold: to identify issues and problems regarding current means of funding for eco-innovation and green projects; to provide insight into securing longterm green financing by looking at European cases; and ultimately to suggest policy implications for designing and implementing eco-specific financial instruments, focusing on governments' roles in sustainable financing for eco-innovation. This study analyses different models of financing mechanisms, a mix of public and private funds, in view of suggesting conditions for the sustainable financing of green projects, especially for large-scale high-risk projects. Based on the findings from the analyses of mechanisms and the shortcomings of the existing funding modalities, this study ultimately suggests policy implications for effectively supporting the commercialisation of eco-innovation.

  • As digital technology converges into the e-commerce market across industries, online transactions have activated, and the use of online has increased. With the recent spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19, this market flow is accelerating, and various product information can be provided to customers online. Providing a variety of information provides customers with various opportunities but causes difficulties in decision-making. The recommendation system can help customers to make a decision more effectively. However, the previous research on recommendation systems is limited to only quantitative data and does not reflect detailed factors of products and customers. In this study, we propose an intelligent recommendation system that quantifies the attributes of products and customers by applying text mining techniques to qualitative data based on online reviews and integrates the existing objective indicators of total star rating, sentiment, and emotion. The proposed integrated recommendation model showed superior performance to the overall rating-oriented recommendation model. It expects the new business value to be created through the recommendation result reflecting detailed factors of products and customers.

  • In today's era of digital technologies, the problem of religious communication in the cyberspace is being actualized, since the globality and accessibility of the WWW makes it one of the most effective and promising channels for transmitting various kinds of messages, including those of a religious nature. Today, religious organizations and movements pay the closest attention to the virtual media space, not only using it to attract new followers, but also for religious PR, image-making and branding, informing the world about themselves through news from the life of the organization and its followers. An equally important form of electronic communication in the online sphere is currently the interaction of various religious movements and religious cultures in general, or the dialogue of confessions in particular. Research in the digital space makes it possible to identify important trends in religious spheres based on the analysis of the flow of information on the Internet, to demonstrate the specifics of individual media outlets and the consequences of their activities for interreligious dialogue, to study the role of the Internet in changing religious beliefs, the possibility of changing religious identity, retrospective development of religious enlightenment at the turn of the century, to determine the vectors of possible interreligious interaction and discuss the role of digital technologies in the work of religious structures, to state the need to continue an active dialogue between representatives of religious movements, to hold expert seminars on interreligious dialogue on a regular basis, and to record the risks generated by the digital space. Thus, the coronavirus pandemic served as a background and context, a litmus test and a catalyst for accelerating and intensifying interreligious, interfaith dialogue and dialogue between religious organizations and society.
