고형배지를 이용한 순환식 딸기 수경재배에서 배지 종류별 무기이온 흡수 특성 (Characteristics of Inorganic Ion Absorption of Strawberries Cultivated in Closed Hydroponic System with Different Substrates)

  • 시설재배 딸기를 위한 생력적이고 환경친화적인 순환식 수경재배기술을 확립하기 위하여 고형배지 종류별로 딸기의 무기이온 흡수 특성을 조사하였다. 톱밥배지를 제외한 나머지 세 종류의 배지에서는 대체적으로 많은 양의 질산태질소의 흡수를 나타내었는데, 펄라이트배지와 입상양면배지 보다는 코코피트배지에서 약간 높은 흡수농도를 나타내었다. 인은 톱밥배지를 제외한 세 종류의 배지에서는 초기에는 $5me{\cdot}L^{-1}$의 높은 흡수농도를 나타내었으며 생육이 진행됨에 따라 점차 감소하여 $3me{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 정도의 흡수량을 나타내었는데, 이것은 비교적 높은 농도로서 추후 검토를 할 필요가 있을 것으로 생각되었다. 그러나 톱밥배지에서는 3월 중순까지 인의 흡수가 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 칼륨의 흡수농도는 톱밥배지를 제외하고는 세 배지 모두 비슷한 흡수량을 나타내었는데 생육초기에는 비교적 높은 흡수량을 나타내었지만 점차적으로 감소하여 $4me{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 전후의 흡수량을 나타내었다. 칼슘의 흡수량은 펄라이트배지와 입상암면배지에서는 생육초기에 약간 높은 농도를 나타내기는 하였지만 생육전반에 걸쳐서 $2me{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 정도의 안정적인 흡수양상을 나타내었다. 마그네슘은 코코피트배지에서 생육 전반기에 $3me{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 정도의 높은 흡수농도를 나타내었으며 생육 후반기까지도 다른 배지에 비해서 가장 높은 흡수 농도를 나타내었다. 다음으로는 펄라이트 배지와 입상암면배지 순이었으며 세 배지 모두 마그네슘의 흡수는 대체적으로 $1me{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 정도의 농도를 나타내었다. 본 실험의 결과는 고형배지를 이용한 순환식 딸기 수경재배에서 유용하게 활용될 것으로 생각된다.

  • Bensulfuron-methyl에의 내성(耐性) 및 감수성(感受性) 품종(品種)(군(群))에 대한 생리적(生理的) 배경(背景)을 이해(理解)하기 위하여 $^{14}C$-제초제(除草劑)를 이용(利用)한 일련의 흡수(吸收) 이행시험(移行試驗)을 수행(遂行)하였으며 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 시험(試驗) 1. 선발품종군간(選拔品種群間)의 흡수(吸收) 및 이행(移行) 차이(差異) 24시간(時間)에 걸친 근부(根部) 및 경엽하부(莖葉下部) 1.5cm 침지처리(沈漬處理) 결과(結果) 내성(耐性) 선발군(選拔群) 수도품종(水稻品種)들의 개체당(個體當) 및 단위건물중당(單位乾物重當)의 근부흡수량(根部吸收量)은 감수성(感受性)보다 각각 1.6%와 12.6% 높았고, 경엽부(莖葉部)에서는 각각 14.8%와 27.3% 높았으며 지상부(地上部)로의 이행율(移行率)에서도 13% 높은 정도(程度)의 차이(差異)를 보였다. 시험(試驗) 2. 선발품종간(選拔品種間)의 약제침지시간(藥劑沈漬時間)에 따른 흡수(吸收) 및 이행(移行) 차이(差異) 48시간(時間)까지의 근부침지(根部沈漬) 처리(處理) 결과(結果), 1. 공시식물(供試植物)의 엽령(葉齡)에 관계(關係)없이, 식물개체당(植物個體當) 및 단위건물중당(單位乾物重當)의 흡수량(吸收量)은 내성(耐性)보다 감수성(感受性) 품종(品種)에서 높았으나, 뿌리의 경우는 내성품종(耐性品種)에서 높았고, 엽(葉)의 경우에는 감수성(感受性) 품종(品種)에서 다소 높은 경향(傾向)이었다. 2. 개체당(個體當)의 흡수방사능(吸收放射能)에 대한 엽이전방사능(燁移轉放射能)의 비율(比率), 즉 엽(燁)으로의 이행성(移行性)은 내성품종(耐性品種)보다 감수성(感受性) 품종(品種)에서 유의적(有意的)으로 컸다. 3. 감수성(感受性)인 IR 1846은 유묘생장속도(幼苗生長速度)가 빠른 상태에 있었기 때문에 대등(對等)한 흡수(吸收) 이행(移行) 수준(水準)에서라도 더욱 감수반응(感受反應)을 나타낸 것으로도 해석(解析)된다.

  • The rates of absorption of carbon dioxide into aqueous solutions of 2-amino-2-methyl-1 propanol (AMP) were measured using a semibatch stirred vessel with a plane gas-liquid interface at $25^{\circ}C$. The absorption rates under the fast reaction regime were analysed using chemical absorption theory. The reaction was found to be first order with respect to both $CO_2$ and the amine.

  • Three anode configurations of six-jet, cone-jet and cylindrical-jet are tested for their analytical performance under power mode operation. The effect of pressure, power and gas flow rate on atomic absorption signals have been studied. The increase of atomic absorption signal of sample element is observed at a fixed pressure in all configurations as the gas flow rate increase up to 300-600 seem, and as the power dissipated in the glow discharge cell increase. The lower the pressure is in the glow discharge cell at a fixed discharge power and argon flow rate, the greater the absorbance of sample element is. The optimum conditions are taken from these data and a calibration curve of Cu in low-alloy steel sample is obtained. In this calibration curve, six-jet configuration shows the best analytical results varies as the sample element.

침지처리법에(浸漬處理法)있어서 목재함수량(木材含水量)이 염화아연 흡수율(吸收率)에 미치는 영향(影響) (A Study on the Effect of Moisture Content of Wood upon the Absorption on Zinc Chloride Solution)

  • This experiment has been made to investigate the absorption of watersoluble zinc chloride by Pinus densiflora S. et Z. at different moisture content, under soaking process, to decide the optimum content condition for the maximum absorption of zinc chloride by the wood tested and to investigate the concentration of zinc chloride affecting each moisture content of wood. Material was cut in the Dept. of Forest, College of Agr. S.N.U. Suwon, Korea. Sample was divided into sap and heartwood group and cut $2{\times}2{\times}2\;cm$ in size, having exact three dimensions, using the part of D.B.H. The numbers of sample were 20 pieces for each moisture content condition for both sap and heartwood. Especially, the samples were protected from exposure to keep moisture content in green condition. The ranges of moisture content tested were as the table 3 and 4. The conclusions were as follows: 1. With 3% zinc chloride solution, the rate of absorption decreased with the time increased, if the air seasoned Korean red pine (Pinus densiflora S. et Z.) was treated in steeping process. Initial absorption for 30 minutes was more than 50% of total absorpon for 24 hours. 2. Rate of absorption was same under the green condition, while rate of absorption under the moisture content 7 to 30% varied. 3. Although it was not quite proportional change in the absorption with the difference of moisture content, the great change in the absorption occured by seasoning. With exception sap green condition, sapwood twice more permeable than the heartwood in the oven dried condition and it has been observed the nearly same amount of absorption at the moisture content of 7%, 10% and 15% respectively in heartwood. 4. It was better from water in wood from view-point of absorption of zinc chloride solution, but it was difficult practically to obtain the smallest moisture content, and then it was decided that values of allowable moisture content, on the basis of mean absorption, were 15% to 20% in the sapwood, and in the heartwood, 10% to 15%. The mean absorption for each moisture content in the sap and the heartwood were as following. 5. In general, the concentration of zinc chloride after steeping was nearly same between moisture content and sap and heartwood respectively.

이트라코나졸의 랫트 소장으로부터의 흡수 (Absorption of Itraconazole from Rat Small Intestine)

  • The absorption characteristics of itraconazole, which is an antifungal agent, from intestinal segments in the anesthetized rat i1l situ were investigated in order to design an effective oral drug delivery system. The pH-solubility profile of itraconazole, the rate and extent of absorption of itraconazole, the optimal absorption site(s) of itraconazole and the absorption enhancing effect of sodium cholate on itraconazole were examined in the present study. In situ single-pass perfusion method and recirculating perfusion technique using duodenum(D), jejunum(J) and ileum(I) were employed for the calculation of apparent permeability(Pe) and apparent first-order rate constant(Kobs). respectively. The results of this study were as follows; (1) Itraconazole showed appreciable aqueous solubility only at pH values of below 2.0. (2) pe(cm/sec) decreased in the following order: $D(10.24{\pm}1.78{\times}10^{-4})>J(8.86{\pm}0.79{\times}10^{-4})>I(3.78{\pm}0.13 X 10^{-4})$. (3) $Kobs(min^{-1})$ decreased in the following order: $J(17.12{\pm}3.19{\times}10^{-3})>D(13.37{\pm}0.6{\times}10^{-3})>I(11.05{\pm}0.91{\times}10^{-3})$. (4) The solubility of itraconazole markedly increased with the increase of the concentration of sodium cholate. (5) The addition of 10 mM sodium cholate significantly increased the apparent first-order rate constant of itraconazole in the ileum by a factor of 6.8.

Fragmentation and energy absorption characteristics of Red, Berea and Buff sandstones based on different loading rates and water contents

  • Annually, the global production of construction aggregates reaches over 40 billion tons, making aggregates the largest mining sector by volume and value. Currently, the aggregate industry is shifting from sand to hard rock as a result of legislation limiting the extraction of natural sands and gravels. A major implication of this change in the aggregate industry is the need for understanding rock fragmentation and energy absorption to produce more cost-effective aggregates. In this paper, we focused on incorporating dynamic rock and soil mechanics to understand the effects of loading rate and water saturation on the rock fragmentation and energy absorption of three different sandstones (Red, Berea and Buff) with different pore sizes. Rock core samples were prepared in accordance to the ASTM standards for compressive strength testing. Saturated and dry samples were subsequently prepared and fragmented via fast and dynamic compressive strength tests. The particle size distributions of the resulting fragments were subsequently analyzed using mechanical gradation tests. Our results indicate that the rock fragment size generally decreased with increasing loading rate and water content. In addition, the fragment sizes in the larger pore size sample (Buff sandstone) were relatively smaller those in the smaller pore size sample (Red sandstone). Notably, energy absorption decreased with increased loading rate, water content and rock pore size. These results support the conclusion that rock fragment size is positively correlated with the energy absorption of rocks. In addition, the rock fragment size increases as the energy absorption increases. Thus, our data provide insightful information for improving cost-effective aggregate production methods.

Skin-Mimicking Phantom for Measurment of Cosmetic Transdermal Absorption and Temperature Changes by Sonophoresis

  • Functional cosmetics containing various ingredients that improve skin health are currently being developed. In addition, technologies that help increase the absorption rate of such cosmetics have recently gained significant attention. Sonophoresis is a method to increase the transdermal absorption of cosmetics using ultrasound. A skin-mimicking phantom was fabricated using polydimethylsiloxane, Strat-MTM membrane, and thermochromic pigments. Gel-type cosmetics used in skin mask packs and epidermal-growth-factor-based nano-cosmetics were tested for their absorption rates at ultrasound frequencies of 1, 3, and 10 MHz in the single frequency mode, and 1/3 and 3/10 MHz in the dual frequency mode. The gel-type cosmetics and epidermal-grow-factor-based nano-cosmetics showed the highest absorption rate at 3/10MHz dual frequency. The size of the cosmetic particles decreased by 5-9 %. Furthermore, the temperature rise caused by ultrasound could be visually recognized by the thermochromic pigment in the phantom turning white. We presented a skin-mimicking phantom. The device can be customized according to the size of the ultrasound probe and has the advantage of quantitatively evaluating the transdermal permeability of cosmetics at a low cost. The development of the skin-mimicking phantom will be useful for determining the suitable conditions required to increase the absorption rate of cosmetics using ultrasound.

매생이 열수추출물이 흰쥐의 필수아미노산 흡수에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Capsosiphon fulvescens Extracts on Essential Amino Acids Absorption in Rats)

  • 이 실험의 목적은 해조류 중 특히 필수 아미노산 함량이 높은 매생이 열수 추출물(Capsosiphon fulvescens Extracts, CFE) 5%를 첨가한 식이를 급이 시켜 흰쥐에게 10일간의 단백질 소화율, 혈중 필수 아미노산 변화에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 사료의 품질 및 필수 아미노산 대사와 관련된 연구에 기초자료를 마련하는데 그 목적을 두고 본 실험을 하였다. CFE의 급이에 따른 단백질 소화율을 살펴 본 결과, casein 그룹의 경우 단백질 소화율이 약 97%인 반면 CFE가 포함된 그룹의 경우 87%로 유의적으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 실험 식이에 CFE 첨가 시 단백질 소화율이 유의적으로 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 간문맥 혈청 중의 아미노산에서 특히 필수 아미노산의 혈중 흡수에 미치는 영향을 식이 후 30, 60, 90, 120분별로 살펴보았다. 총아미노산과 필수 아미노산의 농도는 두개의 군에서 차이가 없었다. BCAA에 속하는 Leu, Ile, Val은 C군에 비해 CFE군에서 흡수속도가 증가하였으며 AAA에 속하는 Phe 또한 동일한 경향을 보여주었다. 간문맥 혈중의 Lys, Thr, Met의 경우, C군에 비해 CFE군에서 흡수속도가 지연되는 것으로 나타났다. 이 실험을 통해 식이섬유인 매생이 열수추출물을 섭취함으로서 간이나 뇌, 조직 등으로 흡수되는 혈중 필수 아미노산의 흡수속도를 증가시키거나 지연시킴으로서 단백질 대사에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보인다. 따라서 단백질 식이에 매생이 열수추출물을 첨가할 경우 혈중 아미노산 흡수정도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 기초자료를 마련 하였으며 이후 더 많은 연구가 필요한 것으로 보인다.
