This study was aimed to minimized the impact force and vibration transmitted to transporting agricultural product from the power tiller trailer by installing vibration absorption device. The vibration absorbable trailer (I) mounted with leaf spring suspension and shock absorber was developed and compared on vibration absorption performance with the existing trailer (E) equipped no vibration absorption device. In order to identify the vibration absorption effect of the trailer developed in this study, the vibration accelerations, occurred during driving on paved road with loading 360 kg of pear, were measured and analyzed using FFT analyzer. The magnitude of average vibration acceleration was decreased highly for the improved trailer mounted with vibration absorption device in comparing with existing trailer in the frequency range under 60 Hz and under 80 Hz. And similar vibration absorption effect was represented for the improved trailer in all frequency range. Especially, in the frequency range between 40 Hz and 80 Hz, the magnitude of vibration acceleration for the improved trailer was decreased with 1/3 times in comparing with existing trailer. So, the transporting loss including damage of agricultural product could be decreased highly by using the improved vibration absorbable trailer mounted with leaf spring suspension and shock absorber simultaneously, designed in this study.

Decrease of strength in composite material is generally caused by water absorption. It makes fracture of material, and loss of money or human lives. The objective of this study is to investigate the causes of decrease in strength by water absorption. Mechanism of water absorption was supposed as three steps. This mechanism is consisted of absorption into resin, absorption between resin and surface treatment agent, and delamination between fiber and resin. Conditions of test were supplied differently; kinds of fiber and resin, immersion time etc. Both of reversible reaction and irreversible reaction occurred simultaneously. Most of decrease in strength was finished at 2.5% water absorption, and the strength was recovered. At 4% water absorption, most of decrease was caused by irreversible reaction, therefore, there was a tendency not to be recovered in strength.
The effect of humidity on the aging process of hydrous aluminum oxide prepared by the reaction of aluminum chloride and sodium bicarbonate solution at pH 7.8, which was then kept in various atmosphere under relative humidity at 37.deg. was observed by the measurements of acid consuming capacity, X-ray diffraction and IR absorption. The humidity was one of the important factors influencing the aging process of hydrous aluminum oxide during storage. The higer the humidity, the more was accelerated age, crystalize and loss in acid reactivity. Depending on the humidity, the aging product was different, especially, in the case of up to the relative humidity of 72%, it forming bayerite. On the other hand, the hydrous aluminum oxide aged below the relative humidity of 50% was still amorphous even after 120 days storage. When hydrous aluminum oxide was aged under higher humidity, definite IR absorption bands develop as the hydroxys become part of an ordered structure, and it showed their characteristic absorption band around 1630 and 1060 cm$^{-1}$.
Conjugated polycarbosilanes with diacetylene and aromatic groups of thiophene or phenylene simultaneously present in the polymer backbone such as poly[[1,4-bis(thiophenyl)buta-1,3-diyne]-alt-(dimethylsilane)], poly[[1,4-bis(thiophenyl)buta-1,3-diyne]-alt-(diphenylsilane)], poly[[1,4-bis(phenyl)buta-1,3-diyne]-alt-(dimethylsilane)],and poly[[1,4-bis(phenyl)buta-1,3-diyne]-alt-(diphenylsilane)] have been prepared. The characteristic C=C stretching frequencies appear at 2177-2179㎝-1 in the IR spectra of the polymers. The molecular weights of these polymers were detemined by GPC. All of these materials are soluble in organic solvents such as THF and chloroform, and thermally stable up to 200℃ in general without any weight loss under nitrogen. The prepared materials in THF solvent show a maximum absorption peak in the range of 334-356 nm with a molar absorptivity of 10³∼10ⁿ(n=5)L/(cm·mol) in the UV-visible absorption spectra. A maximum emission peak in the range of 403-550 nm is also observed in the fluorescence emission spectra. Both absorption and emission spectra strongly indicate that the obtained polycarbosilanes contain the new conjugated systems along the polymer main chain.
We investigated annealing effect of microforged powders on magnetic properties and electromagnetic absorption behaviors for ferromagnetic Fe-Cr metal alloy powder-polymer composites. The coercive properties greatly decreased with annealing temperature and the magnetic permeability had significantly increased after microforging and subsequent annealing treatment, due to a reduction in lattice strain of the microforged powders. The power loss in the far field regime also had greatly increased after microforging and subsequent annealing treatment in frequency range from 50 MHz to 6 GHz. As a result, the electromagnetic absorption of ferromagnetic Fe-Cr alloy metal powder-polymer composites was highly improved because of the relaxation of the internal strain during annealing process.

Variable optical attenuators (VOA) made of low-loss fluorinated polymers are demonstrated which shows a low operating power less than 30 mW due to the superior thermo-optic effect of polymer material and a low insertion loss less than 1.0 dB by incorporating highly fluorinated polymers to reduce the absorption loss at 1550 nm. An attenuator-integrated low-crosstalk polymeric digital optical switch (DOS) is also demonstrated. The switch and attenuator shares a single connected electrode which is controlled by a single current source. Due to the simple structure of the integrated attenuator, the device length is reduced to 1 cm so as to provide low insertion loss of 0.8 and 1.1 dB for 1300 and 1550 nm, respectively. The attenuator radiates remained optical signal on the switch-off branch in order to decrease the switching crosstalk to be less than -70 dB with an applied electrical power of 200 mW.

The insertion loss of a noise barrier comes from the effects of diffraction, transmission loss, absorption coefficient and attenuation by direct propagation. The noise level after the noise barrier, differs reatly from the diffraction on the upper part of the barrier. Maekawa, furze and Anderson presented a empirical formula for calculating the diffraction of a semi infinte screen shaped noise barrier. In this syudy, Noise reduction performance software was developed for the proper design and assessment of new plastic barrier . Predicted sound pressure level from using the software is compared with the site-measurement results to verify the noise reduction performance and feasibility of prediction software for insertion loss of noise barrier.
A study has been carried out on the characteristics of dielectric consent and the dissipation factor of Eicosamethyl Eneasiloxane as a function of frequency($30{\sim}10^5$[Hz]) and temperature(-70[$^{\circ}C$] to 65[$^{\circ}C$]). The result shows that a well-defined maxima of the absorption curves characterized by a dipole loss mechanism at a low temperature range. For temperatures in the vicinity of room temperature and higher, the loss in the range of power frequencies are predominantly of ionic nature. The increase of ionic conduction is attributed to the presence of ionizable oxidation products and their increased dissocation feature. The effect of viscosity upon the dipole loss intensity appeared to be considerably less pronounced than that upon ionic conduction loss.
It is important to remove fog for accurate object recognition and detection during preprocessing because images taken in foggy adverse weather suffer from poor quality of images due to scattering and absorption of light, resulting in poor performance of various vision-based applications. This paper proposes an end-to-end deep learning-based single image de-fogging method using U-Net architecture. The loss function used in the algorithm is a loss function based on Mahalanobis distance with fog features, which solves the problem of domain shifts, and demonstrates superior performance by comparing qualitative and quantitative numerical evaluations with conventional methods. We also design it to generate fog through the VGG19 loss function and use it as the next training dataset.
The structure, shape, size, and magnetic properties of Ni$_{0.5}$Cu$_{0.1}$Zn$_{0.4}$Fe$_2$O$_4$ have been investigated as a function of annealing temperatures. In order to control the microwave absorbing properties of ferrite-rubber composite and the complex losses (magnetic loss and conduction loss), the effect of carbon addition was also studied. It was found that the coercive force decreased with increasing heat-treatment temperatures. Relative complex permeability and reflection loss were measured by the network analyzer. As a result, the natural resonance occurred in the low frequency tinge, and the matching frequency of the ferrite-rubber composite prepared at 130$0^{\circ}C$ was found to be lower. As heat-treatment temperatures were increased, the magnetic loss ($\mu$$_{r}$", $\mu$$_{r}$′) and the dielectric loss ($\varepsilon$$_{r}$"/$\varepsilon$$_{r}$′) were increased. It was caused that the absorption characteristics of the absorber were improved. The conduction loss and magnetic loss were expected to be occurred together because two matching frequencies were shown with carbon addition. It was confirmed that the matching frequency of the microwave absorber could be controlled by controlling heat-treatment temperatures and carbon additions.ons.tions.
