굳지않은 콘크리트의 단위수량 추정에 미치는 골재요인의 영향 (Influence of Aggregate Factor on the Estimation of Water Content in Fresh Concrete)

  • This study is performed to investigate the influence of aggregate factor on the estimation of water content in fresh concrete. According to the results, water content is estimated higher in the case of basalt and granite aggregate than in the case of limestone because absorption water ratio of basalt and granite is large. As the replacement ratio of recycled aggregate increases, water content is estimated higher. But, after correcting absorption water ratio of aggregate, estimated water content is similar to mixture water content. Therefore, it is important to know the absorption water ratio of aggregates accurately, to estimate water content.

  • Insulation breakdown of water-cooled generator stator windings occurs frequently due to leakage of cooling water and absorption into the insulation material. Leakage and absorption problems of water-cooled stator windings are often found during regular preventive maintenance. To evaluate cooling water leakage and absorption, diagnostic tests were performed on two water-cooled turbine generators, which have been in service for 13 and 17 years, respectively. The test results of the measured electrical properties such as dissipation factor($tan{\delta}$), capacitance and AC leakage current for water-cooled generator stator windings with wet bars are reported in this paper.

Skin-Mimicking Phantom for Measurment of Cosmetic Transdermal Absorption and Temperature Changes by Sonophoresis

  • Functional cosmetics containing various ingredients that improve skin health are currently being developed. In addition, technologies that help increase the absorption rate of such cosmetics have recently gained significant attention. Sonophoresis is a method to increase the transdermal absorption of cosmetics using ultrasound. A skin-mimicking phantom was fabricated using polydimethylsiloxane, Strat-MTM membrane, and thermochromic pigments. Gel-type cosmetics used in skin mask packs and epidermal-growth-factor-based nano-cosmetics were tested for their absorption rates at ultrasound frequencies of 1, 3, and 10 MHz in the single frequency mode, and 1/3 and 3/10 MHz in the dual frequency mode. The gel-type cosmetics and epidermal-grow-factor-based nano-cosmetics showed the highest absorption rate at 3/10MHz dual frequency. The size of the cosmetic particles decreased by 5-9 %. Furthermore, the temperature rise caused by ultrasound could be visually recognized by the thermochromic pigment in the phantom turning white. We presented a skin-mimicking phantom. The device can be customized according to the size of the ultrasound probe and has the advantage of quantitatively evaluating the transdermal permeability of cosmetics at a low cost. The development of the skin-mimicking phantom will be useful for determining the suitable conditions required to increase the absorption rate of cosmetics using ultrasound.

스포츠 웨어용 흡한속건 및 투습방수 소재의 의류외관 특성과 형성성능 (Garment Appearance and Formability of Perspiration Absorption and Fast Dry/breathable Fabrics for Sports Wear)

  • This paper examined the garment formability and appearance of perspiration absorption, fast dry, and breathable fabrics. The mechanical properties and seam pucker properties of these fabrics were measured and regression analysis was conducted between fabric structural parameters and their mechanical and seam pucker properties. The superior total appearance value (TAV) of fast dry knitted fabrics for sports-wear was achieved in fabrics with high extensibility and bending rigidity; consequently, it increased with increasing stitch density and tightness factor. The formability of the fast dry knitted fabric also improved with an increasing stitch density and tightness factor. The seam pucker was influenced by bending rigidity and a good seam pucker was exhibited in the fast dry knitted fabrics with low stitch density and tightness factor. However, the formability (F) of the breathable fabric improved by increasing extensibility and bending rigidity that decreased with an increasing cover factor and the thickness of the breathable fabric. In addition, seam pucker deteriorated with an increasing cover factor and the thickness of the breathable fabric, which was similar to the results of the formability predicted in fabric mechanical properties. A superior seam pucker was achieved in fabrics with high extensibility and low bending rigidity.

  • The results of an experiment on the sound absorption of the porous concrete and its influence on the compressive strength are reported in this paper. Two different sizes of coarse aggregate of 5~13, 13~20mm, and the design void ratio of 20, 25 and 30 percent for a given size of aggregate were used. In the compressive strength, an aggregate of the size of 5~13mm is much higher strength than that of the 13~20mm, In the sound absorption experiment, the size of aggregate of 5~l0mm is much higher sound absorption than that of the 13~20mm. The sound absorption ratio was increased as the design void ratio. As a result, Porous concrete sufficiently have the performance of sound absorption.

벼에 의한 Sr-85의 흡수 축적 및 토양-작물체간 전이계수 (Absorption and Accumulation of Sr-85 by Rice(Oryza sativa L.) and Its Transfer Factor from Soil to Plant)

  • 벼 품종간 Sr-85의 흡수와 작물체 부위별 분포, 그리고 토양으로부터 작물체로 전이되는 Sr-85의 전이계수를 조사하기 위하여 a/2000 pot에 사양토를 공시토양으로 하여 일품벼(만생종)와 오대벼(조생종)를 공시하고 건조토양 1g 당 Sr-85를 각각 무처리, 74Bg과 222Bq를 처리하여 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1 수확기에 일품벼와 오대벼의 Sr-85의 흡수율은 각각 0.39-0.43%, 0.66-0.73%로 오대벼의 흡수율은 전반적으로 일품벼보다 약 1.5배 많았다. 2. 토양으로부터 흡수된 Sr-85의 대부분은 볏짚과 왕겨에 축적되었으며 현미로 전류된 량은 약 1.3%에 불과 하였다. 3. 벼 부위별 Sr-85 농도는 Sr-85 처리량에 따라 높았으며 오대벼는 일품벼보다 모든 부위에서 높은 농도를 보였다. 4. 두 품종에서의 토양-식물체간 전이계수는 품종간 유의성은 없으나 현미 0.037과 볏짚 4.13의 범위였으며 부위별 전이계수는 볏짚>왕겨>현미 순으로 높았다. 5. 토양으로부터 흡수한 Sr-85는 벼의 생장과 수량에는 영향을 미치지 않았다.

확산체의 표면적 변화에 따른 흡음 및 확산계수 측정 (Measurements of scattering and absorption coefficients of diffusers with variation of surface area)

  • The absorption power of a surface depends on the surface irregularity which has been known as an important factor in determining scattering coefficient. This study investigates the effect of increase in surface area on the absorption and scattering coefficients of a diffuse surface. The surface irregularity or surface pattern can be compared to the wavelengths and the random-incidence scattering coefficient of surface is measured by ISO 17497-1. The scattering coefficients of increasing the surface area in linear pattern of v-cut groove on rubber plate were measured in 1:10 scale model reverberation chamber. It is found that the scattering and absorption coefficients increase with increasing surface area. At 60% of increased surface area the spacing between the hemisphere diffuser and the v-cut groove acts similar with results of absorption coefficient. The results show that absorption coefficient depends on surface area and the spacing where as scattering coefficient depends on surface area and texture.

특급 호텔 조리직 종사원의 직무 태도와 조직 몰입이 직무 만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Attitude and Organization Absorption of theCooks in Special Grade Hotels on Their Job satisfaction)

  • This study was conducted to investigate how job attitude and organization absorption of hotel employees influence their job satisfaction and present a plan for development to the high level based on the result. It carried out the survey with 289 cooks of special grade hotels in Seoul area. According to the result, organization absorption raised by .677 when emphasizing job roles and it raised .141 when stressing the organization behavior. Furthermore, it revealed that job roles and the factor of organization behavior influenced(p<05) job satisfaction, while job roles affected job achievement(p<05). What is more, it appeared that the factors of organization absorption significantly affected satisfaction and achievement each in statistics. Considering such results, it can be presented that job attitude of cooks in special grade hotels who have optimistic mind meaningfully influenced organization absorption and job satisfaction. It showed that even though the job imposed on the cooks of special grade hotels are relatively high, organization absorption goes up as job attitude is positive, which means high productivity connecting with job satisfaction in the end.

Diethanolamine 수용액에서의 Methyl Mercaptan의 흡수 (Absorption of Methyl Mercaptan into Aqueous Diethanolamine Solutions)

  • The kinetics of the reaction of methyl mercaptan into aqueous diethanolamine were studied over a range in temperature ($20^\~60{\circ}C$) and amine concentrations (0-40 $wt\%$) using a wetted-sphere absorber. The physicochemical properties needed to interpret the data are the solubility and diffusivity of methyl mercaptan in the aqueous diethanolamine solution. The density and the viscosity were obtained and correlated in the experimental range. The Wilke Chang equation was applied to estimate the diffusion coefficient. The enhancement factor was found to be high temperature is below than low temperature. It means the absorption rate with chemical reaction is lower than the physical absorption rate.
