An Analysis on the Information-seeking Behaviour of Users in the Internet Board of National Archives and Record Service (국가기록원 인터넷 게시판 이용자의 정보이용행태 분석)

  • An understanding the information seeking-behaviour of archival users is a basic for archival reference services. This study tries to understand who are users of internet board of archives, how and why they ask questions. And the study examines how archivists answer the users' questions. The data used in this study are 3,760 answers and questions in the internet board of National Archives and Record Service during $2000\sim2005$. According to this analysis. lots of users of the board make queries for archival management and asking various archives. And they are public officials, archivists, students, researches, and producers of media. The users mainly ask simple questions and it take average 5 days for users to get answers.

  • Generally, transceiver is operated to the remote control for the purpose of breading the traffic zone which is established on a mountain peak, island and building top using private line. Therefor, the remote control system of public radio station have been the very important role that is decision the quality relate to the quickness, accuracy, safety of communication on old type transceiver of SSB, VHF etc. In the case of using the only 1 private line which is exchanged voice signal with data signal had mixed or interrupted for up/down of channel, PTT control and monitoring of transmission channel and power. The up/down of channel and PTT control is according to the ASK and the data of monitoring is transfered to the FSK modulation, additional algorithm is studied on the serial protocol and traffic sequence using the MCS-51 processor in the simplex communication methode.

On Student's Immersion in Learner-Centered Instruction (학습자 중심 수업과 학생들의 수업에의 몰입에 관한 소고)

  • In this paper, some factors such as the perspective of children, instructional materials(especially activities in textbooks for elementary school mathematics), and teacher's questioning styles are discussed as ones influenced on students' immersion in leaner-centered instruction. This discussion is based on the author's two implementations of the kind of two instructions. About the first theme, constructivists assert that even children who are in elementary school can have reflective abstracting ability. Teachers' asking questions with the belief differ from ones with traditional perspective of children, which is relevant the third factor. They value and respect learners' thinking outcomes, even though they are not sometimes wrong and have errors. Also, they have them opportunities to think different from others and to ask how they get their answers. To do these, they frequently ask open-ended questions, not closed. All of them is possible through the activities provided in textbooks. Some characteristics which can prompt such teacher's questions using activities in elementary mathematics textbooks are discussed.

Influence of Impulsive Random Noise on Digital Modulation Systems in Electromagnetic Interference Environments (전자간섭 환경하에서 임펄스성 랜덤잡음이 디지틀 변조방식에 미치는 영향)

  • The error rate performances of digital modulation systems in fluenced by impulsive noise have been investigated and discussed in the enviroment of electromagnetic interference(EMI). Using the derived equations for the probabilities of error of L-level ASK, M-ary PSK, MSK, QAM, and APK signals, the error rate performance of each system has been evaluated and compared each other. The results show that, in the case of gaussian noise enviornment, PSK system is superior to the other systems and the digital amplitude modulation systems are inferior on the contrary. In the environment of impulsive noise, the MSK at low interfere level shows the best error rate performance but in the high level interferer environment, the PSK shows the best error rate performance. Also it is known that the digital amplitude modulation systems are scarcely influenced by the variation of interfere level.

호스피스 교육이 간호사의 죽음과 임종에 대한 두려움과 대응에 미치는 영향

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of education of hospice for nurses on concern and coping about death and dying. Methods: The subjects of this study were 33 Korean nurses who participated in the education of hospice which consisted of lectures and practices for 5 months. Data were collected using questionnaire of concern and coping about Death and Dying. Data were analyzed with the mean, SDs and Wilcoxen test. Results: The mean score of concern about death and dying was 7.03. The highest items of concern about death and dying were 'thoughts of physical pain and being, 'thoughts of suffocating and choking, 'fear of darkness', The lowest items of concern about death and dying were. 'thoughts of burglars invading my possessions', 'rejection by God', thoughts of no one attending funeral', 'thoughts of no one paying respect or tribute', The mean score of coping about death and dying was 11.37. The highest items of coping about death and dying were 'call family member(s) into room and ask them ti sit close by, reminisce on happy events of the past, tell myself that there is nothing to be afraid of, look at family picture albums'. The lowest items of coping about death and dying were 'stay up stay up late till ready to fall asleep', 'look at family heirlooms', 'phone a prayer line', 'ask for a snack or something to drink'. In concern and coping about death and dying, significant differences were not found between pre and post test. But there was a tendency to decrease concern and increase coping about death and dying after education of hospice. Conclusion: According to these results, it is needed for nurses not only to do research for concern and coping about death and dying but also to develop an education program.

Implementation of Ultra-Wideband Microstrip Bandpass Filter for 10 Gb/s Wireless Transmission THz Transmitter and Receiver (10 Gb/s 무선 전송 THz 송수신기를 위한 초광대역 마이크로스트립 대역통과필터의 구현)

  • In this paper, a microstrip bandpass filter(BPF) with 3 dB bandwidth of more than 50 % at center frequency of 30 GHz was implemented. The implemented BPF is to be used as ASK(Amplitude Shift Keying) transmission and reception filters in IF band for THz transmitter and receiver capable of 10 Gb/s wireless data transmission. The microstrip BPF with ultra-wideband characteristics was implemented using a stepped-impedance lowpass filter(LPF) and a composite quarter-wave short stubs where the LPF is functioning as attenuating the upper stopband and quarter-wave short stubs is functioning as attenuating the lower stopband. The measured results are as follows; the insertion loss is 0.65 dB at 30 GHz, the stopband characteristics are -10 dB and -16 dB at 10 GHz and 50 GHz, respectively, and the passband flatness is ${\pm}0.5$ dB at 20~40 GHz.

  • The society of intelligence-information complex is a fresh world that connects things, knowledge and calculation with human. What is the condition of educational reform in this world? Robinson and Aronica(2015) suggest educational reform at the center of organic agriculture, in which they focus on the dignity of human as an organic being. Human consists in an intelligence and a life. We have to ask to ourselves what is the human in this Age. The development of AI represented by deep-learning will be an actual condition in the educational reform. In the other hand, the combination with an information technology and art rises a question about a life itself. So, we have to ask the question seriously that overlap what is the human and what is a life. Two questions about human and a life cast a philosophical paradox in the age of AI.

Social Stress, Alcohol and Wife Abuse in Urban Poor Families (스트레스 및 알콜이 아내구타에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -도시 빈곤가구를 중심으로-)

  • Although there is a little concern about wife beating, the problem is in very serious level. Especially many community workers in urban poor areas reported that they often wittnessed wife abuse cases and most battered women have no place to ask help. However, there is not many systematic analysis on wife abuse in those areas. The purpose of this study are (1) to more accurately estimate the incidence of wife abuse in poor families; (2) to examine the interrelationships of socio economic status, stress and alcohol consumption of wife abuse. The results show that almost 1 out of 3 husbands in urban poor areas carried out 1 or more physical violence acts against their wives during the last year and that social stress has statistically significant relationship with wife abuse in the urban poor families.

THz 대역의 무선통신시스템 기술

  • THz 대역의 주파수 범위는 일반적으로 100GHz ~ 10THz 사이로서, 전자파의 투과성과 광파의 직진성을 동시에 가지고 있다. THz 캐리어 주파수는 대기의 수분에 강하게 흡수되어 1THz 이상에서 1 [dB/m] 정도의 대기 전파감쇠가 발생하나 0.1 [dB/m] 정도의 비교적 낮은 주파수 윈도우가 존재하여 이 영역의 주파수 스펙트럼을 이용한 무선통신시스템의 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 최근 RF MMIC의 기술개발 동향을 고려해 볼 때 무선통신시스템 응용을 위한 가장 유력한 THz 주파수 대역은 H-밴드(220 ~ 325GHz)이다. H-밴드에서 가용한 주파수 대역폭은 약 45GHz 이상이며, 이러한 초광대역폭을 이용하여 10Gbps급 이상의 데이터 전송속도를 ASK 또는 BPSK와 같은 간단한 변조방식으로 용이하게 실현할 수 있다. 본고에서는 THz 대역에서 무선통신 응용을 위한 전파특성 및 주파수 대역, 무선링크 특성과 THz 송수신기 기술에 대하여 알아본다.

A 1.485-Gbit/s Video Signal Transmission System at Carrier Frequencies of 240 GHz and 300 GHz

  • A 1.485-Gbit/s video signal transmission system at carrier frequencies of 240 GHz and 300 GHz was implemented and demonstrated. The radio frequency front-ends are composed of Schottky barrier diode subharmonic mixers (SHMs), frequency triplers, and diagonal horn antennas for the transmitter and receiver. Amplitude shift keying with an intermediate frequency of 5.94 GHz was utilized as the modulation scheme. A 1.485-Gbit/s video signal with a high-definition serial digital interface format was successfully transmitted over a wireless link distance of 4.2 m and displayed on an HDTV with a transmitted average output power of 20 ${\mu}W$ at a 300-GHz system.
