  • In the 20th century, The artistic world was constantly producing new ideas and movements and the world of fashion responded to and reflected them all in greater of lesser degree. Dress designers have always been aware of what is happening In the arts and have always been able to use the discoveries and ideas of the artist to help them solve design problems and create fashion which are new, inventive and reflective of thier time. Up to the present, other researchers have investigated the connections between the fine arts and the Modern Fashion. In this respect, the objective of this research was to clarify the characteristics of painting of the Impressionism on the Modern Fashion. In order to investigate the relationship between the trend of painting and Modern Fashion. Especially, Impressionism's light and color affected both 20th's painting and other sorts of art. That is, the trend of the modern painting, Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism, Abstract art, Abstract Expressionism, was influenced by Impressionism painting. Similarly, in the sihouette, line, color, fabric pattern of the Modem Fashion was represented characteristics of the Impressionism Painting. The fashion's Fauve, Paul Poiret was excited by the power of color in the same intense way as the 'wild beasts' of art. The color of his clothes during that period was bold and brilliant. Gabrielle Chanel simplified the shape of women's clothes to a square cardigan and rectangular skirt. This was a cubist concept. Art and fashion probably held hands closest in the 1930s, when Elsa Schiaparelli was creating clothes directly influenced by the Surrealist thinking of Salvador Dali. And she burst upon the fashion world with a sweater that had a trompe I'oeil bow. Soma Delaunay was one of great pioneers of Abstract in. She proceeded to mix strong and bright colors into her art and created the geometric and abstract patterns of the clothes and fabrics with her strong color. The influence of Abstract Expressionism was expressed the fabrics of the Modern Fashion. Some fabrics used in Modern Fashion are printed in a dripping pouring and splashing style. For the future, some futher research to investigate the art-fashion connection might involve establishing systematic classifications for silhouette, line, texture, color of the fashion. Moreover, in order to study the influence of fine art on the fashion, a broader approach might wish to analyze the relationship between painting and other plastic arts.

  • Until now, research to integrate art activities and science education have been making steady progress in the field of primary education and early childhood education that are directly involved in the art education of students. However, some science educators were interested in visualizing the artifacts by using design principles and experimental results through STEAM education. So, when conducting lessons for integrating science education with art activities, research is needed on the changing of the students' ability. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of science experiments in collaboration with art activities for students' self-directed learning skills and creative personality in elementary school. This study was applied to 30 students(16 male, 14 female) of 4th grade in Changwon C elementary school. The teaching materials of this study was extracted some of the experiments from the 2007 revised national curriculum in elementary science textbook and 'Teachers for Exciting Science'. Experimental treatment was performed over a total of 10 class 5 subjects and a pre-post test was conducted through G-TAGAS. • The current downturn of BIPV sector has an enormous potential to rebound and expand into the PV sector for construction market in the foreseeable future. Solar technology has already gained a significant market due to lack of natural resources in the Korean domestic market. Given the technical infrastructure of state-of-the-art fusion technology, the competitiveness of software-driven BIPV market in the world can be ver attractive and have the potential to develop as a key national technology. To do this, from the viewpoint of complexity, technical R&D, national political aspect, social aspect, economic aspect and institutional support systems need to be parallelly formulated. A dedicated BIPV sector has not yet been established, especially policy and institutional framework have very crucial impact on the establishment of BIPV sector.

  • Media improvisation among lecturers in colleges is inevitable because of insufficient media resources for utilization. The study investigated media improvisation in the state -owned colleges of education in the South-West, Nigeria. The study is anchored on Media Richness Theory. Stratified sampling technique was adopted to select 812 lecturers. Media improvisation scale (r = .71) was used for data collection and T-test statistical method was adopted for data analysis. The result showed that there was no significant differences between media improvisation of Art/Social Science and Science lecturers (Crit - t = 1.96, Cal. t = 821, df = 278, p>.05) and that of lecturers in the School of Art/Social Sciences and Vocational/Technical Education (Crit. t = 1.96, Cal. t = .136, df = 276, p>.05). Significant difference did not exit between that of the Schools of Languages and Education (Crit. t = 1.96, Cal. t = 1.946, dif. = 288 p<.05) . It is recommended that media improvisation of lecturers in schools should be encouraged and improved upon.
