Lake Biwa Canal was a dream project that reminds us the passion and innovation of Kyoto Citizens more than water supply. It is a modernization project combining engineering knowledge and scientific technology, which started transportation by ship through big-scale civil construction as well as supplying electricity as the first waterpower plant in Japan, and it overcame the physiographic limit through adopting unique method of waterway transportation. Lake Biwa Canal, which has tangible and intangible culture heritage value as the traditional space of Kyoto, the Old Capital of 1200 years, conceives a cultural meaning that is connected through various mutual relation as well as scientific technologic factor. Lake Biwa Canal is not only the function for supplying water to gardens and temples of Kyoto region, but it is also a cultural fruit that is formed by complex causal relationship of various contents such as geographical and environmental background, the phases of the times, local development policy, political circumstances and religions. This study is aimed at interpreting the value of Lake Biwa Canal multilaterally by the convergence of cultural and technological aspects through the view of the world which the age tried to pursue, focusing on the construction of Lake Biwa Canal which was accomplished in the process of promoting the modernization of Kyoto.

So far, it has been a general opinion that 'Hunminjeongeum' creation was made only by King Sejong himself under Jiphyeonjeon scholars' help. However, this paper stresses that 'Hunminjeongeum' was made not only by King Sejong but also by Sinmi's positive effort on King Sejong's secret order, and examines the possibility of the culture-convergence contents related to these tales as well. To reveal the ground, the method of this research was proceeded particularly focusing on following texts: Sejongsillok, Munjongsillok, Hangukbulgyojeonseo, etc. The result was as followings. 1) King Sejong's absolute trust in Sinmi, 2) Sinmi's outstanding linguistic talent in Sanskrit. 3) King Sejong's donation of Amitaba-Triad Buddha images to Bokcheonsa Temple and Sejong's granting a respecting title of 'Wugukise Hyeogakjonja' to Sinmi. 4) Sinmi's vow to educate and spread 'Hunminjeongeum' based on Buddhism, and 5) Sejo's visit Sinmi at Bokcheonsa Temple. Furthermore, if the tales related to 'Hunminjeongeum' creation are activated into a type of national or regional events or festivals without remaining simply in a story level, it would be a good way to spread the excellence of convergence K-culture with various culture contents.

This study offers the possibility of a new integrated product of video technology and public culture content. The Development of 'the Urinal of Emotional Type with Screen' will introduce a new sanitary pottery product and it will be a new attempt to combine hygiene pottery product with high-tech electronic product. It is a product development idea that presents the new marketability of the sanitary pottery product with the improvement of awareness of the restroom and the idea of wit through public information notification and advertisement effect. For the commercialization of the product, the prototype will be made through a separate production process with the design of this project, through 3D rendering, 3D mockup and so on. Various product expansions can be consulted with manufacturers after that. It is a new approach of image making with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, that targeting small-scale business, such as franchise coffee shops and liquor stores with high quality and differentiated pricing strategy, and it will lead the market trend with various marketing availability through differentiated video contents.

This study suggests the possibility of a product integration of cookware and eco-friendly food culture as a new product, not merely a product for exhibition purpose. In order to, in addition to that, reflect the design produced in this project to be commercialized, it can be considered to make prototype products through a separate production processes including 3D rendering, 3D mock up. After that, various product expansions can be considered through consultation with manufacturers. This study offers the cookware product design, such as steak fans, which can be applied both domestic and international markets; everyone can cook food or grill meats to suit their tastes. It is well suited to the modern food culture with advance functions that can't be found in the existing grill fans, and it can lead the cookware product trends that seeks the originality and innovation with its design which can get across in aspects of emotion and appearance.

Versatile and innovative interdisciplinary professionals refer to those who can engage in an efficient cooperation with experts in other fields or to those who can themselves put knowledge of different fields together. This article aims to look into Galileo Galilei as an example of historic figure that made remarkable achievements by merging knowledge in multiple fields of study. It also shows that Galileo, who had active exchange with painters during the Renaissance, presented the findings from his telescope observations in the form of drawings and that he used them to build core logics that criticizes the traditional Aristotelian cosmology. Galileo drew the critical logics, hardly achievable from a simple observation report or mathematical demonstration, from his hand drawing. The Galileo case well proposes the goals and direction of how the modern society should nurture its interdisciplinary professionals today.

In this study, the structural and fatigue analyses were carried out according to the configuration of rear wheel suspension of torsion beam. Three types of models similar to the actual torsional beam suspension are analyzed and we will find out which one is best on strength. The models of torsion beam suspension were designed in three types of models A, B and C through CATIA program and the results of structural and fatigue analyses were obtained by using the ANSYS program. We will confirm which model is better structurally than other models. According to the analysis results, the deformation happens to be the largest in the middle, and model B has the least deformation compared to model A and C. Similarly, model B is shown to have the smallest result at equivalent stress. So, model B is judged to be the best in terms of its strength, and it is thought to be the most efficient to converge into art design at the suspension design with a torsion beam of rear wheel.

Cyber attacks on the aviation weapon system, a state-of-the-art asset, have become a reality and are approaching as a constant threat. However, due to the characteristics of embedded software of the current aviation weapon system, it is managed and operated without connection to the network in peacetime, so the response management to cyber attacks is relatively weak. Therefore, when a cyber attack becomes a reality, it is urgent to prepare and evaluate measures for the adverse effects that such attack will have on the execution of the Air Tasking Order(ATO). In this paper, we propose a framework for operational impact assessment in order to avoid confusion in ATO execution and systematic response to cyber attacks on aviation weapons systems. The proposed framework is designed to minimize the negative impact on operations against cyber attacks that may occur under no warning by analyzing the impact on air operations for each aviation weapon system and standardizing countermeasures for this. In addition, it supports the operational commander to make a quick decision to command for the execution of the operation even in a situation where a cyber attack occurs.

This study was conducted to provide basic data to promote hair beauty service education by identifying the difference in the effect of positive psychological capital on job performance and job satisfaction of hair salon workers. For this purpose, in order to empirically verify the effect of positive psychological capital on job performance and job satisfaction of hair salon workers, 280 people engaged in hair salon workers in Gwangju, Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do were targeted. As a result of the study, positive psychological capital of hair and hair salon workers affects job performance and job satisfaction, and among the sub-factors of positive psychological capital, hope and optimism appear to affect both job performance and job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to strengthen the positive psychological capital of hair salon workers, it is necessary to develop a convergence program development and strategy that can enhance job performance and job satisfaction and apply it to the hair beauty service field.

Recently, various studies related to ICT convergence have been made. Recently, various studies related to ICT convergence have been made. In the academic field, the demand for ICT convergence is on the rise. For example, Digital Humanities and Area Informatics are representative. Area Studies means to study the culture of a specific area in an integrated way. In this regard, researchers who specialize in researching overseas area generally use websites to obtain information related to the area. The Multilingual Mediterranean Web Service System(MMWS), which is operated by the Institute for Mediterranean Studies of Busan University of Foreign Studies is a web site that provides professional and general information to researchers or ordinary people studying in the Mediterranean area among overseas area. In this paper, we analyzeoverseas web sites the MMWS and discuss how to activate web sites based on the analysis results. In details, it analyze MMWS through log analysis and use Google Analytics, a log analysis system provided by Google for analysis. Also study how to use ICT convergence contents as a website activation method.

In this paper, correlation analysis was performed between questionnaire and machine learning based aggressive tendency measurements. this study is part of a aggressive driver detection using machine learning and questionnaire. To collect two types tendency from questionnaire and measurements system, we constructed experiments environments and acquired the data from 30 drivers. In experiment, the machine learning based aggressive tendency measurements system was designed using a driver behavior detection model. And the model was constructed using accelerate and brake position data and hidden markov model method through supervised learning. We performed a correlation analysis between two types tendency using Pearson method. The result was represented to high correlation. The results will be utilize for fusing questionnaire and machine learning. Furthermore, It is verified that the machine learning based aggressive tendency is unique to each driver. The aggressive tendency of driver will be utilized as measurements for advanced driver assistance system such as attention assist, driver identification and anti-theft system.
