Context-Aware App-Store System based on Collective Intelligence (집단지성 기반 상황인지 앱스토어 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a context awareness system to transfer accurate information of the app store based on collective intelligence. By using collective intelligence the system minimizes the errors that could occur when an individual process the problems, recommends APIs for developers and builds the app store for not only customers but also developers. In addition, this system applies the ontology technique to aware the context of consumers, recommends the app suitable for the consumer and provides the information for app developers. By utilizing the deduction technique of the Jena, the context awareness system infers the context of a consumer and constructs the app store system which improves the existing app stores. In the point of service transfer and accuracy, the proposed app store system module show better performance than the existing app store.

  • Spread of smart devices increases, the App Store market is formed so huge, even at this point, every day the scale is increasing now. As a result, for the benefit of companies and private individuals, malicious apps that threaten the security of smart devices, have appeared occasionally in the App Store. Security of the terminal, has issued various solutions through research at many universities and companies, and country. However, solutions for research and policy approaches that are blocking the procedure to register the application malicious app, so that it is not registered in the App Store, Only company that operates the app store is doing it. And the reference is also insufficient, various problems have occurred. In this study, after analyzing the problem of the security policy of the current App Store, presenting the breaking point.

App Recommendation Based on Characteristic Similarity (특성 유사도 기반 앱 추천)

  • The remarkable development of IT is contributed to popularization of smart phones, which in turn creates a new domain called app store. Smartphone apps have grown fast because they can be easily purchased through an app store. As the volume of apps traded in app stores is so huge that it is extremely hard for users to find the exact app they want. In general, an app store recommends an app to users based on the search words they entered. In terms of recommendation of app, this kind of content-based method is not effective. To increase accuracy in recommending app, this paper proposes a characteristic similarity-based app recommendation method. This method creates attributes on the app based on the related information such as genre, functionality and number of downloads and then compares them with the propensity to use the app. According to diverse simulations, the method proposed in this paper improved the performance of app recommendation by 33% in average, compared to the conventional method.

A Study of Factors Affecting Mobile Application Download (모바일 애플리케이션 다운로드에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Mobile applications are significantly impacting people's smart phone using behavior and mobile industry value chain. By examining sources of data on mobile applications use, this study presents evidence about what factors would affect the amount of apps download, which may be useful to guide app designers and publishers to develop more persuasive new apps and marketing strategies. The results indicated app ranking had effect on download amount of apps in both Android app market and Apple app store, while prices of apps had no impact on the amount of download. App type, developer experience, and locality had effect on the amount of download only for paid apps in Apple app store.

  • 본 논문에서는 IoT 환경 기반의 문화재 앱스토어 구축을 위한 카테고리별 문화재 및 애플리케이션을 분석한다. 문화재 종류는 문화재진흥청에서 정의한 종류로 분류되어 있으며 종류에 따라 문화재 개수도 다양하다. 이러한 다양한 종류의 문화재 및 애플리케이션 카테고리 분석을 통해 문화재 앱스토어 구축에 있어 카테고리 분류 작업시 중요한 기반 자료가 된다. 이는 앱스토어 소비자에게 정확한 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 구축하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

  • Recently. smartphones have been popularized rapidly and now located deep in our daily life, providing a variety of services from banking, SNS (Social Network Service), and entertainment to smart-work mobile office through apps. Such smartphone apps can be easily downloaded from what is known as app store which, however, bears many security issues as software developers can just as easily upload to it. Military apps will be exposed to a myriad of security threats if distributed through internet-basis commercial app store. In order to mitigate such security concerns, this paper suggests a security guidelines for establishing a military-excusive app store and security verification system which prevent the security hazards that can occur during the process of development and distribution of military-use mobile apps.

  • Korea's security response to application service app is still insufficient due to the initial opening of the public safety network. Therefore, preemptive security measures are essential. In this study, we proposed to establish a 'public safety network app security system' to prevent potential vulnerabilities to the app store that distributes app in public safety network and android operating system that operate app on dedicated terminal devices. In order for an application service app to be listed on the public safety network mobile app store, a dataset of malicious and normal app is first established to extract characteristics and select the most effective AI model to perform static and dynamic analysis. According to the analysis results, 'Safety App Certificate' is certified for non-malicious app to secure reliability for listed apps. Ultimately, it minimizes the security blind spots of public safety network app. In addition, the safety of the network can be secured by supporting public safety application service of certified apps.

  • 본 논문에서는 앱스토어의 정확한 정보 전달을 위해 집단지성을 이용한 상황인지 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 개인이 문제 처리 시 발생하는 오류를 집단지성으로 발생하는 집단적인 능력을 이용하여 최소화하고, 앱개발자에게 필요한 API를 추천함으로써 소비자 중심이던 앱스토어를 개발자와 소비자 중심의 앱스토어를 구축 한다. 또한 이 시스템은 소비자의 상황을 온톨로지 기법에 적용하여, 앱스토어 시스템이 소비자의 상황에 적합한 앱을 추천하고, 앱개발자에게 정보를 제공해준다. 이때 앱소비자의 상황정보는 일차 논리 추론기법을 활용함으로써, 소비자 상황을 정확히 추론하여 기존의 앱스토어 보다 한 단계 높은 상황인지 앱스토어 시스템을 제안한다.

Development of Smart Phone App. Contents for 3D Sign Language Education (3D 수화교육 스마트폰 앱콘텐츠 개발)

  • In this paper, we develope the smart phone App. contents of 3D sign language to widen the opportunity of the korean sign language education for the hearing-impaired and normal people. Especially, we propose the sign language conversion algorithm that automatically transform the structure of Korean phrases to the structure of the sign language. Also, we implement the 3D sign language animation DB using motion capture system and data glove for acquiring the natural motions. Finally, UNITY 3D engine is used for the realtime 3D rendering of sign language motion. We are distributing the proposed App. with 3D sign language DB of 1,300 words to the iPhone App. store and Android App. store.
