A general web-based remote lecture system uses video data and audio data to provide synchronize between teacher and students. This system requires high bandwidth, high speed networking, television, compression and computing technologies between server and client for remote lecture over Internet. As a result, this system can decrease an efficiency for lecturing over current Internet. So, this paper proposes a new mechanism calling as ‘Synchronization of WWW browsers between server and client’to cope with above problems and finally pursues low cost needed for real-time remote lecture over Internet. The mechanism means that every browser of teacher and students displays the same page and the action of teacher is transferred to the browser of student. And, this can be implemented by Windows hooking APIs, Memory Mapping, and DLL (Dynamic Link Library) programming technology. This paper points to the design and implementation of LAS (Lecture Assistant Server) and LAC (Lecture Assistant Client) to perform the synchronization between server and client.

Workflow means the automation of a business process, in which documents, information or tasks are transferred among participants for business action according to a set of procedural rules, and workflow management system is a system which defines, creates and manages the execution of workflow running one or more workflow engines. In this research, necessity of standardizing current workflow systems is recognized, and problems such as interoperability of current systems, dynamic adaptation to changing business environment and lacking of assessment, management and auditing of business processes are analyzed so that the design and implementation of a workflow system is focused on to offer a solution to the problems. The system is designed and implemented to change dynamically on Run-Time the processes definition defined on Build-Time, and interoperability is enabled by developing workflow engine and related modules based on the WfMC specifications and APIs.

Reverse-Phase High-performance Liquid Chromatography (RP-HPLC) based technique is one of the most sensitive techniques to detect the antibiotics present in honey. In the southern part of Tamilnadu, India, majority of the farmlands are occupied by plantations such as coconut, banana and rubber. A variety of antimicrobial compounds and antibiotics, which have been reported in pollen, nectar and other floral parts of the plant, gets accumulated in honey through honeybees (Apis mellifera). We have collected the nectar samples from banana (Musa paridasiaca) and rubber (Ficus elastica) flowers and the honey from honey hives of banana and rubber cultivated areas. The extracted nectar and honey samples are subjected to RP-HPLC analysis with authentic antibiotic standards. Nectar and honey samples showed 4-17, 11-29 ${\mu}g/kg$ of streptomycin, 2-29, 3-44 ${\mu}g/kg$ of ampicillin and 17-34, 26-48 ${\mu}g/kg$ of kanamycin respectively.

JXTA does not need to be managed by the central server, and has the property that can communicate with any device that is connected to the network. Thus, JXTA can be applied to the communication between heterogeneous P2P systems. This paper deals with the design of a data exchange system utilizing the JXTA's foregoing property, which is able to connect P2P systems with different protocols and APIs.

휴대용 단말기나, PDA, 양방향 호출기 등 소형 모바일 디바이스를 이용한 무선 인터넷 서비스 사용이 늘어가고 있다. 이러한 디바이스들은 기존의 데스크탑 컴퓨터와는 달리 시간과 장소에 구애됨이 없이 언제, 어디서나 디바이스들 간의 통신이 가능하다. Sun사는 이러한 모바일 디바이스를 위해 J2ME 플랫폼을 발표하였다. J2ME는 KVM 및 디바이스에 맞추어진 실행환경 API 집합으로 이루어진 컨피규레이션, 프로파일 등으로 구성된다. 그러나 Sun사는 고가의 license royalty 정책을 펴고 있다. 이러한 이유로 Sun사의 license royalty 정책을 피할 수 있는 독립적인 플랫폼 개발이 절실히 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 J2ME 컨피규레이션 API를 독립적으로 구현하여 모바일 환경에 적합한 플랫폼의 일부를 구현한 내용과API 테스팅 및 통합 테스팅 환경의 구축과 관련된 내용들을 기술한다.

CrossRef provides a various queries(OpenAPIs) which can be used for DOI & meta data lookup. CrossRef encourages publishers and library societies to develop diverse system by using the queries. In this thesis, CrossRef's queries are analyzed and DOI Lookup API which could automatically lookup the DOI by various methods was developed. I proposed that how institutions having their own meta data can use the developed API.

Whiteflies harbor several secondary endosymbionts, which are maternally inherited from mother to offspring, that have major effects on host preferences, biology, and evolution. Here, we identified Wolbachia bacteria in sweetpotato whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) as well as whitefly popluations from other countries by comparison of 16S rDNA sequences. Wolbachia were detected in all tested indigenous B. tabaci populations (Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, and the Philippines) as well as Q1 biotype of Korea, whereas they were absent from B biotype of Korea and Q biotype of China. Wolbachia were also detected in all five tested Aleurodicus dispersus populations as well as Tetraleurodes acaciae, whereas they were not detected in all seven Trialeurodes vaporariorum populatuions. In addiiton, Wolbachia were detected in parasitic wasp (Encarsia formosa) of B. tabaci as well as honeybee (Apis mellifera). Among the 19 whitefly populations from different countries, our analysis identified four phylogenetic groups of Wolbachia, thereby demonstrating the high diversity of this genus. Wolbachia phylogeny suggests a correlation of geographical range with ecological variation at the species level.

지속가능한 모바일 상황인지 서비스를 위한 효율적인 전력 사용에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 모바일 상황인지 서비스에 대한 전력소비 연구를 위해서는 모바일 상황에 맞는 전력 측정 및 분석 도구가 요구되며, 모바일기기 내부의 다양한 모듈의 동작에 대한 관찰이 가능해야 한다. 하지만 기존의 전력측정 도구의 경우 센서동작에 대한 모델링에 대해 ON/OFF 와 같은 간단한 모델로 정의하여, 전력의 원인이 되는 센서모듈의 동작에 대한 정보를 얻기 어렵다. 이에 본 논문에서는 GPS 모듈을 대상으로 안드로이드 API 계층에서 명시하는 모듈의 동작을 바탕으로 GPS동작정보를 기록하는 전력측정도구를 제안하였다. 제안된 전력측정도구를 이용하여 상용 내비게이션 애플리케이션의 실행에 따른 전력소모를 측정하였으며, API에 명시된 GPS 모듈의 동작상태들의 변화를 확인하였다.

Offline-first strategy is that it allows data to be saved while offline, and when connected online, data is synchronized to ensure that all devices have the same data. Multi-device is a term that shares data through synchronization on various platforms on Android, ios, etc. First, all of the data is stored in the local repository like SQLite and then on the server via HTTP communication. Then, the synchronization is completed by receiving the changed data from the server and storing it in the local repository at the time of the synchronization, and sending the changes to the server from the client. We proposed and implemented a database structure, APIs, and a illustrative application running on PC and Android phone.

The purpose of this study is to investigate Nest Labs (Nest)'s business strategy. The activities based on strategic choices for monetizing connected product are investigated. Nest's capacity and functionality is to offer a seamless integration of devices, platforms, and services and the "Works with Nest" offers an ecosystem fulfilling the needs of different partners. For monetizing customer data, Nest provides a seamless customer experience supported by product incentives. Nest introduces open APIs to connect its connected products to the wider Internet of things (IoT) and open to "If This, Then That." The Nest app controls them from one single place. Nest partners with 32 energy providers as of 2017 and they provide energy from renewable and non-renewable energy sources. Nest also creates a sales channels in direct and indirect route and expands is business model to other industries such as home-rental service, 'AirBnB' to help consumers become more energy-efficient at home.
