1) The authors have had a case of crown fractured upper central incisor with open apex and non vital pulp. 2) The patient was 8 years old female. 3) Apical closure has been induced with the use of calcium hydroxide and gutta percha cone. 4) At nine month after filling with calcium hydroxide and gutta percha cone, apical closure was observed by radiograph. 5) Root canal was permanently filled gutta percha cone and zinc oxide eugenol by the lateral condensation technique.

Four sterigmata of papillaform E. violaceobrunneum are developed from crator-shaped basidium. The apex of sterigma is swollen to a small globeform. And then it is swollen to a clubform. The clubform is again swollen to a ellipticalform, and then more than six spots of spore surfaces are ramdomly depressed with hilum axes. When the depression of surface of a elliptical spore is over, the spore is a heterodiametrical spore of multi-angular.

In this paper we describe the design of symbol timing and carrier synchronization algorithms for burst receiver. The demodulator consists of digital down converter, matched filter and synchronization circuits. For symbol timing recovery we use modified Gardner algorithm. And we use decision directed method for carrier phase recovery. For the sake of performance analysis, we compare simulation results with the board implemented by FPGA which is APEX20KE series chip for Alter. The performance results show it works quite well up to the condition that a frequency offset equal to 0.1% of symbol rate.

The meaning of obturating root canal is to substitute an inert filling materials in the prepared canal space in order to eliminate all avenues of leakage from the oral cavity or periradicular tissue into root canal system. Inadequate obturation induce the infiltration of periapical tissue fluids, which provide materials for growth of microorganisms or localization of bacteria, into dead space of loosely filled canal. Most parts of endodontic failure is attributed to inadequate obturation of root canal system.(omitted)

A new species of ianirid isopod from a subtidal bottom in the Korea Strait is described and illustrated under the name of Juniralata koreuensis. This species is characterized by the cephalon lacking a distinct rostrum and prominent antero-lateral expansions, the pleotelson lacking postero-lateral projections, and the male pleopod 1 having a nipple-shaped lobe on lateral apex.

Acid phosphatase activities were analyzed in $\mu\textrm{g}$ tissue samples from an angiosperm parasite (Cuscuta cephalanthi) and its host plant (Hedera helix) by a fluorometric microtechnique. The apex and the coiling portion of the parasite axis exhibited greater enzyme activies than other portions of the hypha. Acid phosphatase activity in the haustorium was 2-3 times that in the hyphal axis. The vascular bundles of the normal host exhibited the greatest enzyme activity. The acid phosphatase activity in the host infected by the parasite decreased to the activity level of the haustorium.

이 글에서는 PDS/MAGEN이란 무엇이며 그 사용방법은 어떻게 하고 어떤 면에서 장점을 가지고 있는가를 살펴보았다. PDS/MAGEN도 컴퓨터의 다른 소프트웨어와 마찬가지로 사용법을 새로 알아야 하지만 APEX 등 선형계획 문제를 위한 소프트웨어를 사용할 때 매우 편리하다. 일단 문제가 구성되면 선형계획법이나 PDS/MAGEN의 전문가가 아니더라도 선형계획법을 쉽게 사용할 수 있으므로 실제 업무에서는 매우 필요한 소프트웨어라 하겠다. PDS/MAGEN은 현재 KAIST부설 전산개발센타내 CDC Cyber 174에 장착되어 있어, 기타 다른 기종에 적합한 소프트웨어들도 보급 판매되고 있으며, 이의 도입 적용은 효율적인 선형계획기법 응용의 필요불가결한 소프트웨어라 하겠다.

This study is to determine the penetration of various medicaments such as Howe's ammoniacal silver nitrate and methyleneblue, to root canal dentin within given time (5,10,30 sec.) Followings are the results obtained from this study. 1) The dye stuff is more deeply penetrated according to the time elapsed. 2) According to the increase of age, the penetration ratio is decreased accordingly. 3) The penetration ratio of Howe's ammoniacal silver nitrate is higher than that of methyleneblue. 4) The permeability of the root canal dentin is gradually reduced as access to the apex.

In this paper, we describe photonic sensor interface and driver program based on SOPC(System on a programmable chip) platform. This platform uses device that has ARM922T processor and APEX FPGA area on a chip. As for driver program development, three different methods are tried such as simple firmware, real-time OS based program and embedded Linux based program, and results are compared for SoC implementation.
