Diffuse esophageal spasm[DES] is a rare disease, and its surgical management is controversial. We experienced one case of diffuse esophageal spasm with a large epiphrenic diverticulum. We resected the diverticulum with right side approach and underwent extended esophageal myotomy from the apex of the chest to 3 cm above the diaphragm. And then we preserved the LES without antireflux procedure.

선형계획법은 경영과학 (Operations Research)에 있어서 가장 널리 활용되고 있는 모형중에 하나이다. 그래서 선형 계획법과 같이 깊이 연구된 모형도 없을 것이며 이 모형과 같이 다양한 전산프로그램이 있는 모형도 없을 것이다. 전산기 제조회사는 거의 모두 자체 선형계획법용 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며 예를 들면 IBM MPSX/370, CDC APEX III, UNIVAC MPS, HONEYWELL ALPS, FACOM LIPS 등이 있으며 전산기 제조회사가 아니더라도 독자적으로 선형계획법 프로그램을 개발하여 제공하는 곳도 있다.(중략)

This paper verified error of STL file and presented a new application of reformed division method for reducing to appeared error by using Delaunay triangulation method that used to modify error of verified data. First, it is analyzed each vertices in hole error and classified follow case that is 1. case of plan or slope, 2. case of edge, 3. case of apex and 4. case of rapid curve, and reduced volume tolerance between original model and converted model after convert STL file.

TiN 박막은 저온(<$500^{\circ}C$), 저압(1Torr)에서 Tetrakis(diethylamido)titanium[TDEAT, Ti(NEt2)4]single precursor를 사용하여 증착하였다. 증차고딘 박막은 SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy)으로 surface morphology와 step coverage를 측정하였고, TEM(Transmission Electron Microscopy)분석결과 microcrystalline의 TiN을 확인하였다. XPS(X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy)분석결과에 따르면 $200-500^{\circ}C$구간에서는 $\beta$-hydogen elimination에 의한 반응이 일어나고 $600-700^{\circ}C$구간에서는 thermal decomposition에 의한 반응이 일어나고 있음을 알 수 있다. Carbon과 oxygen의 농도는 AES(Auger Electron Spectroscopy)를 사용하여 측정하였으며 온도가 감소할수록 carbon의 농도가 감소하는 경향을 보여주고 있다.

This is a case report of a 69 years old non-smoking male patient with a lung cancer who presented with postherpetic neuralgia on the left T2, 3 and 4 dermatomes. This pain was aggravated in supine position. The patient did not have any other symtoms or signs to suggest the possibility of a lung cancer. Patient's baseline laboratory findings were essentially normal. Routine chest X-ray revealed hazy densities in the left apex. Further evaluation with chest CT confirmed the presence of a lung cancer corresponding to the densities seen on the chest X-ray.

A medical image workstation was developed using multimedia technique. The system based on PC-486DX was designed to acquire medical images produced by medical imaging instruments and related audio information, that is, doctors' reporting results. Input information was processed and analyzed, then the results were presented in the form of graph and animation. All the informations of the system were hierarchically related with the image as the apex. Processing and analysis algorithms were implemented so that the diagnostic accuracy could be improved. The diagnosed information can be transferred for patient diagnosis through LAN(local area network).

This 58-year-old woman was transferred from a local hospital due to symptoms of acute headache and decreased consciousness. Computed tomography revealed a subarachnoid hemorrhage with blood clot in prepontine cistern. On the first day in the hospital, diagnostic cerebral angiography revealed a basilar tip aneurysm. We performed basilar artery to bilateral posterior cerebral artery[PCA] stent placement to reconstruct the basilar artery apex.

Prunus speciosa (Koidz.) Nakai belonging to Prunoideae of Rosaceae, a species previously unrecorded in Korean flora, is described. Prunus speciosa (Koidz.) Nakai is similar to Prunus sargentii Rehder and Prunus jamasakura Siebold ex Koidz., but different because it has toothed lobes of calyx tubes with the apex of leaf serrations aristate. This species is naturalized widely in the eastern parts of Jeju Island but is endemic to Japan.

Nonlinear stress analysis of nuclear containment building is carried out using microscopic concrete material model. The present study mainly focuses on the evaluation of the ultimate pressure capacity of idealized containment building in nuclear power plant. For this purpose, an eight-node degenerated shell element it adopted and an imaginary opening in the apex of containment building is allowed in FE model. From numerical analysis, the adopted concrete material model performs well and has a good agreement with the result obtained by using ABAQUS. Finally, we propose the present study as a benchmark test for nonlinear analysis of containment building.
