Recently, location-based service as the developed continuously, interest in positioning technology is increasing. As the most famous indoor positioning technology, WPS is a positioning technology using WiFi, which can complement the limits of the indoor positioning to have a GPS. In this paper, to provide a system for monitoring the position of the inside of the user based on the position information that using the RSSI signal of the wireless AP based WPS technology, they grip the location information of the mobile nodes in the indoor. If using the method proposed, it is expected to be applied to various services it is possible to apply the WPS, this is because it is possible to estimate in real time the location distribution of mobile nodes in the indoor.

The drastic growth of mobile communication and spreading of smart phone make the significant attention on Location Based Service. The one of most important things for vitalization of LBS is the accurate estimating position for mobile object. Focusing on AP's probabilistic position estimation, we develop an AP distribution map and new pattern matching algorithm for position estimation. The developed approaches can strengthen the advantages of Radio fingerprint based Wi-Fi Positioning System, especiall on the algorithms and data handling. Compared on the existing approaches of fingerprint pattern matching algorithm, we achieve the comparable higher performance on both of average error of estimation and deviation of errors. Furthermore all fingerprint data have been harvested from the actual measurement of radio fingerprint of Seoul, Kangnam area. This can approve the practical usefulness of proposed methodology.

In IoT environment, an intelligent agent is an autonomous entity with computing power that interacts with various things for specific purposes without human intervention. Recently, as the development of Internet technology has increased the size of resources and services that intelligent agents can utilize, an environment where intelligent agents can collaborate with each other is needed. To effectively support these changes, a method is needed to provide workspaces where intelligent agents can form various groups and collaborate on them. In this paper, we present TSpace which is an Ethereum-based group workspace for effective collaboration among intelligent agents. In TSpace, intelligent agents in IoT environment can use group service based on the Ethereum blockchain through the developed CoAP/RESTful web service. TSpace also introduces a new mechanism for managing Ethereum wallets of agents accessing group services and for creating Ethereum transactions using them.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of electroacupuncture on acute pancreatitis (AP). Method: The search engines that were used included PubMed, CNKI, OASIS, NDSL, the Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal, and J-STAGE. The search period was from the creation of the search engine to May 6, 2019; there were no language limitations. Extractions and selections from the literation were made by two authors. The study included randomized controlled trials with electroacupuncture for patients with acute pancreatitis. Cochrane's risk of bias (RoB) was used as the methodological quality assessment scale. Results: Nine studies were finally selected. It was observed that using electroacupuncture with general Western medicine treatment for AP was more effective than using only general Western medicine treatment. Although most of the studies showed a high risk of bias, there were significant differences among the indicators. Conclusion: The electroacupuncture treatment with Western medicine may be more effective in reducing symptoms of AP than Western medicine alone. However, due to the limitations of the research design, it was not enough to obtain reliable information. As a result, high quality research will be additionally required.
Background: Few studies reported the therapeutic effect of Korean Red Ginseng (KRG) in lung inflammatory diseases. However, the anti-inflammatory role and underlying molecular in cadmium-induced lung injury have been poorly understood, directly linked to chronic lung diseases (CLDs): chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cancer etc. Therefore, in this study we aim to investigate the therapeutic activities of water extract of KRG (KRG-WE) in mouse cadmium-induced lung injury model. Method: The anti-inflammatory roles and underlying mechanisms of KRG-WE were evaluated in vitro under cadmium-stimulated lung epithelial cells (A549) and HEK293T cell line and in vivo in cadmium-induced lung injury mouse model using semi-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), luciferase assay, immunoblotting, and FACS. Results: KRG-WE strongly ameliorated the symptoms of CdSO4-induced lung injury in mice according to total cell number in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and severity scores as well as cytokine levels. KRG-WE significantly suppressed the upregulation of inflammatory signaling comprising mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) and their upstream enzymes. In in vitro study, KRG-WE suppressed expression of interleukin (IL)-6, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, and IL-8 while promoting recovery in CdSO4-treated A549 cells. Similarly, KRG-WE reduced phosphorylation of MAPK and c-Jun/c-Fos in cadmium-exposed A549 cells. Conclusion: KRG-WE was found to attenuate symptoms of cadmium-induced lung injury and reduce the expression of inflammatory genes by suppression of MAPK/AP-1-mediated pathway.
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between people's ideological orientation and the populist attitude in terms of demand of populism. The influence of subjective ideology evaluation and political party support on anti-elitism (AE), people centrism (PC) and anti-pluralism (AP) are analyzed in detail. To research this, the socioeconomic factors, democracy recognition and the method of political participation are set as control variables, and the ideologies are classified into extreme conservative, conservative, moderate, progress, and extreme progress. The data are collected through nationwide online survey. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, the powerful affinity between ideological orientation and populist attitude are confirmed. The support for conservative ideology (especially extreme conservative) and the conservative party are affecting the AE and AP, and the ideology of extreme progress and support for the progressive party are influencing the PC and AP. When putting together 3 types of attitude, the conservative (especially extreme conservative) and extreme progressive ideology are the factors that determine the populism attitude. Second, There was no impact of socioeconomic variables except gender (female) and age. Third, populist attitude have a multidimensional nature determined by democratic satisfaction, government trust, external efficacy, voting and non-voting activities.
This study aimed to determine the minimum period of aeration treatment of co-digestate to develop it as liquid fertilizer and the chemical changes that occur in the aerobic liquefying process. The co-digestates were divided into three types depending on their additives: swine slurry anaerobic digestate (SS AD), swine slurry 70% + cow slurry 30% anaerobic digestate (SS + CS AD), and swine slurry 70% + apple pomace 30% anaerobic digestate (SS + AP AD). The pH of all co-digestates increased rapidly after 3 days of aerobic treatment, but had slightly decreased in SS AD after 9 days and in SS + CS AD and SS + AP AD after 15 days. All co-digestates showed a strongly reduced pH between 27 and 36 days of aeration treatment. SS AD had lower pH value, dissolved oxygen (DO), NH4-N, and NO3-N content under aerobic conditions than other co-digestates. To assess the fully decomposed liquid fertilizer, a germination test was performed on the undiluted and diluted co-digestate using the liquid fertilizer germination index (LFGI) method. The relative germination ratio, relative root elongation, and germination index of SS AD were higher than those of the others. When the LFGI method was used for the germination test, all co-digestates showed an appropriate germination index of 70 after 60 days of aeration treatment. Thus, we suggest that the minimum period of aeration treatment for co-digestates might be 60 days to develop the fully decomposed liquid fertilizer.
Objective : In this study, we assessed the anti-bacterial effects and epidermal permeability barrier function of red onion juice comparing to yellow onion juice and $Houttuynia$$cordata$ extract $in$$vitro$. Methods : 3types of red and yellow onion juice were prepared as antibacterial agent candidates with Houttuynia cordata hot water extract using 4 different bacterial strains ($Escherichia$$coil$, $Salmonella$$enterica$$subsp.$$enterica$, $Staphylococcus$$epidermidis$, $Staphylococcus$$aureus$$subsp$) by colony counting method. The expression of filaggrin, a marker of keratinocyte differentiation, and serine palmitoyl transferase (SPT), a marker of the formation of the stratum corneum lipid barrier, in human HaCat keratinocytes were analyzed using HaCaT cell line. The expression of COX-2 and AP-1 which is a factor of COX-2 transcription were also analyzed by western blotting method. Results : There was detectable anti-bacterial effects on $Staphylococcus$$epidermidis$, $Staphylococcus$$aureus$$subsp$ among 1%, 5%, 10% extracts of yellow and red onion.(81%-100%) The bacteriocidal effects were not shown on $Escherichia$$coil$, $Salmonella$$enterica$$subsp.$$enterica$ among $Houttuynia$$cordata$, yellow onion and red onion extracts. The in vitro results showed the concentration-dependent effects on the expression of both filaggrin and SPT in HaCat cells among 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5% extracts in Houttuynia cordata and red onion, reflecting the notion that $Houttuynia$$cordata$ and red onion can induce epidermal keratinocyte differentiation and improve the recovery of skin barrier functions. The concentration-dependent effects also have been shown on the expression of both COX-2 and AP-1 among 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5% extracts in $Houttuynia$$cordata$ and red onion, while slight effect in yellow onion. Conclusion : Red onion juice could be a potential candidate enhanser for the skin care and cosmetology.

An AP that is used by smart device is going to be complicated because smart devices support diverse functions. As a result, multiple low-level IPs including a dedicated CPU are integrated in a high-level subsystem for supporting complicated function such as multimedia codec and camera. A subsystem has software that executes separately from main system, and the software needs to be initialized for every execution of the subsystem. This causes increase of the subsystem startup time so it should be improved because startup time of subsystem affects launching time of application. Methods in applied to computer system for fast startup also could be applied to fast startup of subsystem because subsystem is similar with computer system. In this paper, we apply snapshot method that is used in computer system to subsystem and analyzes the pros and cons. And snapshot method could not be applied to register of IP without modification because register of IP offers restricted read and write. So this paper suggests technique that applying snapshot to each characteristic of register.

There have been various research efforts to support the fairness between uplink and downlink of TCP streams in IEEE 802.11 networks. Existing methods, which have been effective for the fairness, however could not provide the solution for the unfairness caused by the situation in which a station which is having multiple TCP uplink streams monopolizes the uplink bandwidth. This paper proposes a method that AP allocates token buckets for each uplink TCP station. The proposed method is also able to support the fairness between the uplink and downlink. To remedy the underutilization which may happen under token bucket-based schemes, it allows the movement of redundant tokens among the token buckets. By controlling the token movements, it can balance the fairness and the utilization. Simulation results show that the proposed method is able to support the fairness of the TCP uplink stations, as well as the fairness between the uplink and downlink.
