  • Objectives: This study aims to serve as basic data for improving human resource management and the quality of work at dental hospitals and clinics by examining the relationship among clinical dental hygienists' emotional labor, job stress, and turnover intention. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 220 dental hygienists in hospitals and clinics from March 11 to April 26, 2019. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0. For participants' burnout, job stress, emotional labor, and turnover intention based on general and occupational characteristics were analyzed using a t-test and one-way ANOVA. After performing a one-way ANOVA, a Duncan test was performed for mean comparison. Pearson's correlation analysis was conducted to determine correlations between variables, and stepwise multiple regression was performed to examine the factors that affect burnout. Results: Clinical dental hygienists' mean burnout was 3.05 points, and the factors that affect such burnout were turnover intention, job stress, and emotional labor. Burnout was higher when job satisfaction was low, turnover intention was low, and emotional labor was high, with a 29.3% explanatory power. Conclusions: For effective human resource management of dental hygienists, it is necessary to develop and implement programs that can reduce emotional labor and burnout.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Permission, Limited Information, Specific Suggestions, Intensive Therapy (PLISSIT) model sexual program on female sexual function for women with gynecologic cancer. Methods: The integrative 6-hr (two hours per session) program reflecting physical and psychosocial aspects of women's sexuality was developed based on Annon's PLISSIT model. Participants were 61 women with cervical, ovarian, or endometrial cancer. Of them, 29 were assigned to the experimental group and 32 to the control group. The women completed the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) including sexual desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain. Independent t-test and repeated measured ANOVA were used to test the effectiveness of the program. Results: Significant group differences were found on FSFI sub-domain scores including sexual desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, and satisfaction but not pain. Significant time differences were found on all domains except for pain in the experimental group repeated measured ANOVA. Conclusion: The results indicate that the three-week PLISSIT model sexual program is effective in increasing sexual function for women with gynecologic cancer. Nurses may contribute to improving women's sexual function by utilizing the program. Strategies to relieve sexual pain need to be considered for greater effectiveness of the program.

  • In this study, we carried out the turning of plastic mold steel(STAVAX) with whisker reinforced ceramic tool(WA1) and analyzed ANOVA(Analysis of Variance) test. Multi-regression analysis was performed to find influential factors to surface roughness and to derive regression equation. Results are follows: From ANOVA test and confidence interval analysis of surface roughness, We found that influential factors to surface roughness was feed rate, cutting speed and depth of cut in order. From multi-regression analysis, we derived regression equation of STAVAX. it's coefficient of determination($R^2$) was 0.945 and It means that regression equation is significant. From experimental verification, we confirmed that surface roughness was predictable by regression equation. Compared with former research, we confirmed that increase of feed rate is the main cause of the growing of surface roughness and cutting force.

  • This paper investigated materialism inclination of the parents recognized by the adolescents and analysed the relationships between 5 categorized types about parents' materialism inclination and financial characteristics of the adolescents. Statistical analysis was achieved by using Cronbach'$\alpha$, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, chi-square analysis, and Ward' hierarchical cluster analysis with a total of 801 questionnaires. The results are summarized as follows: First, the adolescents felt that calculated points of father and mother's materialism inclination were lower than median points and mother's inclination for materialism was higher than that of father. Second, five categories were classified according to materialism inclination of parents. First classified category was the type which showed both parents had little interest in materials and the second category was the type which father had strong interest in materials. The third one was the type which mother had strong interest in materials. The last two categories were the ones which both parents had much interest in materials. Final result of this study revealed that attitudes of the adolescents for materialism and money were higher for those whose parents had strong interest in materialism than those whose parents had little materialism interest. They showed not only the behaviors of impulsive and overspending consumption but also low financial satisfaction and high financial stress.
