The Korean Integrated Model (KIM) forecast system was extended to assimilate Horizontal Line-Of-Sight (HLOS) wind observations from the Atmospheric Laser Doppler Instrument (ALADIN) on board the Atmospheric Dynamic Mission (ADM)-Aeolus satellite. Quality control procedures were developed to assess the HLOS wind data quality, and observation operators added to the KIM three-dimensional variational data assimilation system to support the new observed variables. In a global cycling experiment, assimilation of ALADIN observations led to reductions in average root-mean-square error of 2.1% and 1.3% for the zonal and meridional wind analyses when compared against European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Integrated Forecast System (IFS) analyses. Even though the observable variable is wind, the assimilation of ALADIN observation had an overall positive impact on the analyses of other variables, such as temperature and specific humidity. As a result, the KIM 72-hour wind forecast fields were improved in the Southern Hemisphere poleward of 30 degrees.

세계 최초 능동형 라이더 센서 Atmospheric Laser Doppler Instrument (ALADIN)의 바람 자료와 한국형 수치예보모델에 바람 자료로 활용되고 있는 Geostationary Korea Multi Purpose Satellite 2A (GK2A)의 대기운동벡터의 자료를 비교함으로써 두 위성의 바람 자료의 특징을 분석하였다. 2019년 9월부터 20220년 8월 1년의 자료를 ALADIN의 미(Mie)채널과 GK2A 적외채널에 대하여 비교한 결과 수집된 자료는 177,681개이며 평균 제곱근 오차(Root Mean Square Error; RMSE)는 3.73 m/s, 상관계수는 0.98이다. 상세한 분석을 위해 위도와 고도를 고려하여 비교한 결과, 대부분의 위도에서 표준화된 평균 제곱근 오차(Normalized Root Mean Squared Error; NRMSE)가 0.2~0.3으로 두 바람 자료가 일치하지만 상층, 중층의 경우 저위도지역에서, 하층의 경우 남반구 특정 위도(30°S-15°S)에서 0.4 이상으로 큰 값을 가진다. 이러한 결과는 계절에 상관없이 수증기채널, 가시채널에서도 동일하게 나타나며 채널 별 특징과 계절별 특징은 두드러지게 나타나지 않는다. 두 바람 자료 간에 차이가 큰 위도 영역에 대하여 구름의 분포를 확인해본 결과, 대기운동벡터의 고도 할당 정확도를 낮출 수 있는 권운 이나 적운이 다른 위도에 비해 더 많이 분포하고 있다. 이러한 특성에 따라, 정확한 고도 할당이 어려워 대기운동벡터의 오차가 크게 나타나는 남반구와 저위도 영역에서 ALADIN 바람 자료는 기존 대기운동벡터의 바람 정보를 보완함으로써 수치예보모델에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 제시한다.

과거 중고서적 구입하는 경우 고객들은 헌책방을 주요 구입창구로 활용하였지만 인터넷의 발전 및 IT기기들이 확대되면서, 가격 경쟁력과 편의성 측면에서 우위를 가진 온라인 중고서점 매장을 구입처로 선호하는 고객들이 빠르게 증가하였다. 그러나 최근에는 기존의 헌책방의 개념을 벗어난 '온라인의 장점과 오프라인의 장점'을 가진 신개념 오프라인 중고서점이 경기침체 속 하나의 대안으로 각광받고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 서비스 품질 측정 기법인 SERVQUAL 지표를 활용하여 최근 각광받고 있는 신개념 오프라인 중고서점 알라딘 매장에 대한 고객의 서비스 만족 요인을 규명하고자 한다. 우선 SERVQUAL 지표를 활용하여 신개념 오프라인 중고서점 알라딘 매장에 맞는 서비스 품질 요인을 선별해 낸 후, 고객 설문을 통하여 재 구매의도에 영향을 주는 주요 요인들을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 기존 헌책방을 비롯한 중고서점의 서비스 품질 제고 및 고객전략에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Triple-A syndrome, also known as Allgrove syndrome, is a rare autosomal recessive disorder. The 3 features of this syndrome are achalasia, adrenal insufficiency, and alacrima. Achalasia could be the first manifestation of the triple-A syndrome; however, its etiology is unclear. Alacrima is generally asymptomatic but can be detected by obtaining patient history. Although adrenal insufficiency could have manifestations such as asthenia, it might be wrongly diagnosed as muscle fatigue. Vitamin D and calcium supplements are usually prescribed for the prevention of osteoporosis. Neurologic manifestations could be present in adults. In some individuals with this disorder, genetic examination indicates mutations in both alleles of the AAAS gene, which encodes a special 546-amino-acid protein designated ALADIN, and in chromosome 12q13. The genetic cause of the triple A syndrome in some patients who do not have an identified mutation is unknown. While very few such cases have been reported till date, one such case was presented to us as an edentulous child.

도서관의 환경은 급변하는 사회의 환경에 비례해서 변화하고 있으며, 이 변화는 결국 이용자의 다양한 요구와 도서관 서비스의 향상으로 귀착된다. 도서관서비스의 향상은 자료의 다양화와 계속되는 새로운 과학기술과 장비의 발달로 인해 예산의 증액 없이는 거의 불가능하다. 그러므로 도서관은 한정된 예산 이외의 재원을 개발하는 방법을 모색해야하며, 이의 해결방안은 도서관이 적극적으로 개인이나 기업의 기부금이나 후원금을 찾아 나서는 것이다. 후원, 기부제도가 생활화되지 못한 우리의 환경에서 우리에게 맞는 도서관 재원확보방안을 위해 후원기금의 역사, 후원의 도서관 법적 배경, 실태, 후원기금의 확보과정과 특히 선진국에서 개발한 후원기금의 모금방법을 살펴보았다.

이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 공공도서관 OPAC이 제공하는 보강 콘텐츠의 현황 및 내용을 분석하고 도서관의 역할을 검토하는 것이다. 2019년 9월부터 10월 사이 국립중앙도서관의 '국가자료종합목록(KOLIS-NET)'에서 검색한 『전두환 회고록』 소장 125개 공공도서관 및 『반일 종족주의』 소장 260개 공공도서관 OPAC을 조사한 결과, 책 소개, 요약, 서평 등 보강 콘텐츠는 대부분 알라딘 인터넷 서점, 네이버, 다음 등 포털이 제공하였으며, 출판사의 일방적 홍보성 책 소개와 본문 인용만을 포함하였다. 보강 콘텐츠는 서지레코드에서 '외부정보' 등 별도 필드에서 링크 제공, 서지레코드 내에서 직접 전부 혹은 일부 디스플레이, 책 소개를 포함한 여러 보강 콘텐츠를 바로 보여주는 방식 등으로 제공되었다. 그러나 객관적, 전문적 서평 없이, 출판사의 일방적 홍보성 책 소개와 본문 인용에 한정된 보강 콘텐츠는 이용자의 책 이해에 크게 기여하기 어려움에 따라, 사서들의 적극적 평가와 직접적 작성 등 개입이 필요함을 지적하였다.

The unique study of TiO₂ sol-gel modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) nanocomposites have been developed for electrochemical sensor detecting fipronil pesticide compound. We develop the easy synthesized TiO₂ via a sol-gel method and modified in CPE which applied electrochemical system as cyclic voltammetry (CV) because the concentration is proportional with current peaks. We discover the TiO₂ optimal mass used of 0.1 g which is compared with 0.7 g carbon and 0.3 mL paraffin. It has high-current anodic (Ip_a) of 1.13×10³ μA and high-current cathodic (Ip_c) -0.96×10³ μA in scan rate of 0.5 V/s. The limit of detection (LOD) of fipronil has been determined of 34.0×10^-5 μM in percent recovery of 0.8%. Its high-stability for lifetime TiO₂-CPE nanocomposites was expressed for 13 days which mean that can be used for detecting fipronil pesticide.
