석탄회로부터 뮬라이트 단섬유의 제조 (Fabrication of Mullite Short Fibers from Coal Fly Ash)

  • Mullite short fibers have been fabricated by adapting the Kneading-Drying-Calcination (KDC) process and characterized. The effect of the addition of foaming agent and calcination temperature on the formation of mullite fibers from coal fly ash, was examined. In the present work, ammonium alum $NH_4Al(SO_4)_2\;12H_2O$ synthesized trom coal fly ash and sodium phosphate $Na_2HPO_4\;2H_2O$ were used as foaming agents. After calcination at $1300^{\circ}C$ for 10 h and then etching with 20% HF solution at $50^{\circ}C$ for 5 h using a microwave heating source, the alumina-deficient $(AI_2O_3/SiO_2$ = 1.13, molar ratio) orthorhombic mullite fibers with a width of ${\sim}0.8mm$ (aspect ratio >30), were prepared from the coal fly ash with $AI_2O_3/SiO_2$ = 0.32, molar ratio by the addition of $NH_4AI(SO_4)_2\;12H_2O$, and with further addition of 2 wt% sodium phosphate. The excessive addition of sodium phosphate rather decreased the formation of mullite fibers, possibly due to the large amount of liquid phase prior to mullitization reaction.

  • The partial discharge testing is widely used in diagnostic measuring technology because it gives low stress to power equipment which is undertaken tests. Therefore it is very useful method compare to previous destructive methods and effective diagnosis method in power system that requires on-line/on-site diagnosis. But partial discharges have very complex characteristics of discharge pattern, so it is required continuous research to development of precise analysis method. In recent, the study of partial discharge is carrying out discover of initial defect of power equipment through condition diagnosis and system development of degradation diagnosis using HFPD(High Frequency Partial Discharge) detection. In this study, simulated system is manufactured and HFPD occurred from those simulator is measured with broad-band antenna in real time, the degradation grade of system is analyzed through produced patterns in simulated target according to the AI/statistics processing.

  • The 4th Industrial Revolution, intelligent automobile application technology is evolving beyond the limit of the mobile device to a variety of application software and multi-media collective technology with big data-based AI(artificial intelligence) technology. with the recent commercialization of 5G mobile communication service, artificial intelligent automobile technology, which is a fusion of automobile and IT technology, is evolving into more intelligent automobile service technology, and each multimedia platform service and application developed in such distributed environment is being developed Accordingly, application software technology developed with a single system SoC of a portable terminal device through various service technologies is absolutely required. In this paper, smart device design for ontology design of intelligent automobile open platform enables to design intelligent automobile middleware software design technology such as Android based SVC Codec and real time video and graphics processing that is not expressed in single ASIC application software technology as SoC based application designWe have experimented in smart device environment through researches, and newly designed service functions of various terminal devices provided as open platforms and application solutions in SoC environment and applied standardized interface analysis technique and proved this experiment.

  • 법랑질 형성부전증은 전치부 개교합과 같은 골격적인 문제를 자주 동반하며, 이러한 경우 구강악안면외과, 보철과, 보존과, 교정과 의사들이 함께 치료하여야 한다. 본 증례는 법랑질의 약화와 치아 우식증 등의 이유로 일반적인 교정치료를 시행할 수 없어 보철적 방법으로 치료하였다. 보존적, 보철적 방법을 이용하여 술전 교정과 같은 안정된 교합을 형성하였다. 악교정 수술을 시행하고 SAS 등을 이용하여 악간고정을 시행하여 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

3D 공간정보를 활용한 터널 설계 자동화 기술 개발 및 적용 사례 : 남해 서면-여수 신덕 국도 건설공사 BIM기반 설계를 중심으로 (Development and Application of Tunnel Design Automation Technology Using 3D Spatial Information : BIM-Based Design for Namhae Seomyeon - Yeosu Shindeok National Highway Construction)

  • 정부는 건설산업의 생산성 혁신을 위해 BIM 기반 스마트 건설기술 활성화방안을 지속적으로 발표하고 있다. 설계단계에서는 BIM 데이터와 다른 첨단기술을 융합하여 설계 자동화와 최적화 수행을 목표로 한다. 국내 해저터널 사업인 남해 서면-여수 신덕 국도 건설공사 기본설계에서는 터널설계 프로세스에 따라 3D 공간정보를 이용한 터널설계 자동화 기술을 개발하여 BIM 기반의 설계를 수행하였다. 터널의 선형설계에 제너레이티브 디자인 기법을 사용하여 만 여건 이상의 케이스를 36시간 내에 도출하고, 설계자가 정의한 목적함수의 정량적 평가를 수행하여 설계자가 요구하는 조건의 최적 선형을 도출했다. AI 기반의 지반분류와 3D Geo Model을 구축하여 최적 선형의 경제성 및 안정성을 평가하였다. AI 기반의 지반분류는 시추 코어 1공당 약 30종의 지반분류를 수행하여 그 정밀도를 향상시켰고, 3D Geo Model의 경우 시공 중 추가되는 지반 데이터를 누적할 수 있다는 점에서 그 활용도를 기대할 수 있다. 3D 발파설계의 경우 Dynamo 상에서 노선상의 모든 보안물건을 검토하여 최적 장약량을 5분 만에 도출하고, 직관적이고 편리한 시공관리를 위해 3D 공간상에 설계 결과를 시각화함으로서 시공 중에 직접 활용할 수 있도록 했다.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Deep Excavation Designed Program

  • This paper presents the development and implementation of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based deep excavation induced wall and ground displacements and wall support member forces prediction program (ANN-EXCAV). The program has been developed in a C# environment by using the well-known AI technique artificial neural network (ANN). Program used ANN to predict the induced displacement, groundwater drawdown and wall and support member forces parameters for deep excavation project and run the stability check by comparing predict values to the calculated allowable values. Generalised ANNs were trained to predict the said parameters through databases generated by numerical analysis for cases that represented real field conditions. A practical example to run the ANN-EXCAV is illustrated in this paper. Results indicate that the program efficiently performed the calculations with a considerable accuracy, so it can be handy and robust tool for preliminary design of wall and support members for deep excavation project.

  • In this paper, we analyze the trends of deep-learning based plant data processing technologies. In recent years, the deep-learning technology has been widely applied to various AI tasks, such as vision (image classification, image segmentation, and so on) and natural language processing because it shows a higher performance on such tasks. The deep-leaning method is also applied to plant data processing tasks and shows a significant performance. We analyze and show how the deep-learning method is applied to plant data processing tasks and related industries.

Study on Chemical Characterization of $PM^{10}$ Observed in Korean Peninsula, 1998 ~ 2001

  • This study was conducted to investigate the chemical characteristics of $PM^{10}$ at Anmyeon-do during the periods from January 1998 to December 2001. The $PM^{10}$ samples ($PM^{10}$) were collected by High Volume Air sampler (HVAS). The measured items were mass concentration of $PM^{10}$ with the major ions ($Cl^{-}$, ${SO_{4}}^{2-}$, ${NO_3}^{-}$, ${Mg}^{2+}$, ${Ca}^{2+}$, ${K}^{+}$etc.) and metallic elements (AI, Fe, Mn, Cr, Zn, Pb etc.). The chemical analysis of major ion components were made by Ion Chromatography (DX-500) and that of metallic elements were made by Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP-AES, ICP-Mass). The average mass concentration of $PM^{10}$ increased substantially during the heavy dust periods (Asian Dust cases). For water-soluble ions, concentrations of ${Ca}^{2+}$, ${SO_{4}}^{2-}$ and ${NO_3}^{-}$ were remarkably enhanced. Concentrations and mass fraction of crustal elements such as Na, Mg, Ca, Fe, Mn were highly elevated, but those of pollution-derived heavy metals were appreciably decreased. The factor analysis was conducted in order to make the large and diverse data set as manageable levels and to qualitatively examine the relationship between the variables.

일방향 응고된 Cu-Al-Ni 합금의 변태특성에 미치는 열처리 영향 (Influence of Heat Treatment on Transformation Characteristics in an Unidirectionally Solidified Cu-Al-Ni Alloy)

  • The effect of betatizing temperature on microstructure and transformation characteristics in a Cu-AI-Ni based pseudoelastic alloy fabricated by heated mold continuous casting by using metallography, XRD and calorimetry. The microstructure of cast rod betatized at $600^{\circ}C$ revealed a ${\beta}_1$ parent phase and a ${\gamma}_2$ phase precipitated along the casting direction. When the cast rod was betatized at the elevated temperature above $600^{\circ}C$, the ${\gamma}_2$ phase is completely dissolved into the matrix so that the volume fraction of the ${\gamma}_2$ phase was decreased. The parent phase was stabilized by betatizing at $600^{\circ}C$. However, the ${\beta}_1$ parent phase was transformed to both ${{\beta}_1}^{\prime}$ and ${{\gamma}_1}^{\prime}$ martensites with increasing betatizing temperatures above $600^{\circ}C$, while $M_s$ and $A_s$ temperatures were decreased. The stress-strain curves for compression test were not same with betatizing temperature; the stress-strain curves of the specimen betatized at $600^{\circ}C$ and $700^{\circ}C$ were linear but those of the specimen betatized at $800^{\circ}C$ and $900^{\circ}C$ were not linear.

MOCVD Deposition of AlN Thin Film for Packaging Materials

  • New single-source precursor, [AlCI3:NH2tBu] was synthesized for AlN thin f film processing with AICI3 (Aluminum Chloride) and tBuNH2 (tert-butylamine). AlN thin films for packaging aspplication were deposited on sapphire substrate by a atmosph하ie-pressure MOCVD. In most of other study methyl-based AI precursors w were used for source, But herein Aluminum Chloride was used for as AI source i in order to prevent the carbon contamination in the films and stabilize the p precursor. New precursor showed the very high gas vapor pressure so it allowed to m make the film under atmospheric-pressure and get the high purified film. High q quality AlN thin film was obtained at 700 to $900^{\circ}C$. The new precursor was p purified by a sublimation technique and help to fabricate high purity film. It s showed high vapor pressure, which is able to a critieal factor for the high purity a and atmospheric CVD of AlN. High Quality AIN thin film was obtained at $700-900^{\circ}C$. The AIN film was characterized by RBS
