고대근동의 시각에서 본 종교생활과 건강장수에 대한 함의: 신바빌로니아 제국의 아다드-굽피, 구약의 다니엘, 신약의 안나의 삶을 기반으로 (A Study on the Implications of Religious Activities to Longevity in a Perspective of the Ancient Near East: Based on the Lives of Adad-Guppi in the Neo-Babylonian Empire, Daniel in the Old Testament, and Anna in the New Testament)

  • 본 논문은 고대근동의 시각에서 본 종교생활과 건강장수의 함의에 대한 연구이다. 주요 자료원은 성서 밖의 신바빌로니아 제국 시대 월신교의 아다드-굽피의 기록, 고대 이스라엘 시대 유대교의 다니엘 기도문, 그리고 신약시대 기독교인 안나에 관한 기록들이다. 연구방법은 문헌연구이며, 최종 형태의 정경에 대한 공시적 방법으로 진행하였다. 아다드-굽피는 신전 중심의 금식과 같은 헌신, 민족을 위한 기도, 사명감 등으로 104세를 향수했다. 다니엘은 유대민족의 해방과 본국 귀환, 예루살렘의 성전 재건, 도시 복원을 위해 금식 기도하며 80대 후반까지 살았다. 안나는 늙은 과부로, 당대의 시대적 한계에도 불구하고 성전에서 메시야를 위한 기도와 헌신으로 100세까지 장수했다. 본 논문은 이들의 삶을 고찰함으로써 성전 중심의 삶, 금식, 기도, 시대적 사명감 등이 생의 의미 추구나 죽음에 대한 수용 등 노년기 발달 과정에서 긍정적 역할을 할 수 있다고 보여진다. 장수는 시대나 지역을 초월한 인간 욕구이다. 본 고찰을 바탕으로, 종교생활의 영적 요인들이 장수에 실천적 의미를 부여한다고 판단된다. 이에 본 연구가 종교생활과 노화 등의 이슈에 대한 사회과학이나 심리학 등의 성과를 수렴하는 연구의 일환으로써 인간 욕구를 충족시키는 방법론에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

북한의 임박한 핵무기 배치대비 국방전략 대개혁 (ROK's defense reform strategy for coping with the emerging North Korea's nuclear weapons.)

  • The balance of power in conventional forces between the two Koreas works in favor of the South Korea in the Korea peninsula. But, the balancing mechanism between the two Koreas in asymmetric forces like nuclear and missile forces works absolutely in favor of the North Korea. That's why it should be timely for the ROK military to review existing strategy and revise a new counter strategy against the threat posed by the North Korea's nuclear and missile forces. The ROK military is now developing 4D, KAMD, KILL Chain strategies as means to cope with the North Korea's nuclear and missile threats. Considering efforts and resources invested now, the strategies are expected to be in place in next five or more years. However, approaches to those strategies seem to be rather fragmentary and conceptual than comprehensive and pragmatic. The types of strategies against the North Korea's military threats need to be a deterrence in peace time and a fighting and winning in war time in the Korean theater. But, the most important element in the deterrence strategy is the credibility. This study concludes with an new strategic concept titled "ADAD(Assured Defense, Assured Destruction)" as an alternative to existing strategies to deal with the North Korea's nuclear and missile threats.

  • 이상적인 내발수 특성을 얻기 위해 유화중합을 이용하여 n-methyol acrylamide (n-MAM)와 stearyl methacrylate (SMA)의 단량체에 기능성 단량체인 PFOEA의 함량(0-8 wt%)에 따른 공중합체를 합성하였고, 추가적으로 2-(perfluorooctyl) ethyl acrylate (PFOEA) 함량이 4 wt%인 조성에 m-isopropenyl-${\alpha}$,${\alpha}^{\prime}$-dimethylbenzyl isocyanate (TMI)의 함량(1~4 wt%)을 첨가한 공중합체를 합성하였다. 유화중합을 위해 비이온 유화제인 tridecyl alcohol (TDA-7), 양이온유화제인 alkyl dimethyl amine derivatives(ADAD)를 사용하였고 개시제로는 2,2'-azobis (2-amidinopropane dihydrochoride) (AAPDL)을 사용하였다. 합성된 공중합체에 대해서 FT-IR spectra를 이용하여 구조분석을 하였고 표면특성 분석을 위해 접촉각, 표면에너지, 발수도 그리고 SEM을 측정하였으며, TGA와 DSC를 사용하여 열적 특성을 확인하였다. PFOEA와 TMI의 특정 함량에서 우수한 발수도와 높은 열적 특성을 보이는 공중합체가 합성됨을 알 수 있었다.

투석과 건조방법이 다시마(Laminaria japonica) 알긴산의 물성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Dialysis and Various Drying Methods on Physical Properties of Alginates Prepared from Sea Tangle, Laminaria japonica)

  • To investigate the physical properties of sea tangle (Laminaria japonica) alginates, extracted by the Mexican process, the effects of extracting time and drying methods on intrinsic viscosities, MWs and DPs of alginates were examined. The MWs of alginates before and after dialysis decreased with increase of extracting time. The MW s before dialysis were lower than those after dialysis. The ash contents before dialysis decreased with increase of extracting time. After dialysis the ash contents of the alginates showed 10.4-10.9% of those, which were little affected by extracting time. In the ash composition after dialysis, the sodium content was 4.4 g/100 g, $90\%$ of total ash content. The ash contents, the intrinsic viscosities, the average molecular weight and the DPs of the alginates dried by AD before dialysis were higher than those by VF. The ash and uronic acid contents of alginates after dialysis showed $10.6-10.9\%\;and\l88.1-88.9\%$, respectively. But the intrinsic viscosities, the MWs and DPs of the alginates after dialysis gradually decreased by following dry methods. The decreased order was ADAD, ADVF, VFAD, VFVF. The coefficient of determination between MWs and DPs in the alginates having more than 300 kDa was 0.999.

가공 방법을 달리한 무차의 이화학적 품질 특성과 항산화 활성 (Physicochemical Properties and Antioxidative Activities of White Radish Tea by Different Preparation Methods)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate their physicochemical properties and antioxidant activities of white radish teas such as pH, color value, total polyphenol contents, total flavonoids, DPPH radical scavenging activity, reducing power and sensory evaluation. They were processed by drying(AD), drying and roasting(ADR), steaming and drying(SAD), and steaming, drying, and roasting(SADR). As a result, the pH of ADR, and SADR tended to be significantly lowered and SADR was the lowest at $5.48{\pm}0.14$(p<0.001). Additionally, ADR and SADR were significantly different in color and browning value, compared to AD and SAD. There was no significant difference in reducing sugar content depending on processing methods. The total polyphenol content and total flavonoid content of the teas were significantly increase after roasting. DPPH radical scavenging activity was significantly higher in ADR and SDAR than in AD or SAD by 1.1~1.5 times(p<0.05). Compared with ADR and SADR after roasting, the sensory characteristics of AD and SAD were significantly lower than those of roasted ADAD and SAD, respectively. From the above results, it was concluded that the roasting process is a major process that affects the physicochemical quality characteristics and antioxidant activities.
