During a study of acarine biodiversity, a phytoseiid mite was collected from soil samples under the rose of Sharon plants. The specimen was identified as Neoseiulus harrowi Collyer, 1964, which was previously only reported in New Zealand and Australia, and is thus a new record for Korean phytoseiid fauna. Neoseiulus harrowi is morphologically similar to N. makuwa (Ehara), but distinctly different in two characters: shorter length of two posterior setae (Z4, Z5) and a forked atrium of spermatheca longer in N. makuwa than in N. harrowi in females.

The bamboo katydid, Palaeoagraecia lutea (Matsumura et Shiraki, 1908) is newly reported in South Korea. Previously, the species was only known in Japan, but currently its occurrence is confirmed in the far southern locality of Hampyeong, Jeollanam-do province of Korean Peninsula. This katydid was collected using a light trap and sound tracing in the bamboo forest. It is regarded as a rare stenotopic species. The features of male Palaeoagraecia lutea are illustrated and discussed in terms of song characteristics, and a key is provided for the genus Palaeoagraecia. A new synonym is proposed: P. philippina (Karny, 1926)=P. globicerata (Vickery et Kevan, 1999) syn. nov.

제주도 연안에서 처음 채집된 동갈돔과 유어 1개체(체장 20.7 mm)를 근거로 Apogon semiornatus를 한국미기록종으로서 기재하였다. 본 종은 등지느러미 기조수 VI-I, 9, 가슴지느러미 기조수 12; 뒷지느러미 기조수 II, 8, 채색은 황적색 바탕으로 체측에 2개의 흑색 사행대가 있는 점에서 국내의 동속 유사종과 쉽게 구별되며, 국명은 '검은두줄붉은동갈돔'으로 명명하였다.

We describe Ophichthus asakusae from Korea based on a single specimen (426.0 mm TL) collected from the southern sea off Jeju Island. The species is characterized by a pointed, hard, sponge-like tail tip without a caudal fin and 126-132 total vertebrae. We propose a new Korean name, "Je-ju-ba-da-baem" for the species.

A single specimen of Kentrocapros flavofasciatus (measuring 145.9 mm in length) belonging to the family Aracanidae, order Tetraodontiformes, was collected for the first time in 2017 on Jeju Island, Korea. This specimen had isolated bony plates on a caudal peduncle, a carapace with six ridges, and a tail depth equal to its tail length. It is similar to K. aculeatus and K. rosapinto but differs from K. aculeatus in that its carapace is without spines; it differs from K. rosapinto in that the anterior end of its gill opening does not reach below the center of its eye. We propose new Korean names: Yug-gak-bok-gwa for the family Aracanidae, and Hwang-Jul-yug-gak-bok for the species K. flavofasciatus.

A new species belonging to the genus Cyclopinoides Lindberg, 1953 (Cyclopinidae) is described from three beaches in Korea and Japan, as the first record of the genus from the Pacific. Among five species currently recognized in the genus, the new species resembles C. schulzi Herbst, 1964 from the Red Sea in sharing the character combination of 20-segmented antennule and stumpy caudal rami. However, C. orientalis n. sp. differs from it by relatively longer caudal rami (2.5-2.8 times as long as wide in female and about 1.6-1.8 times in male, while less than 2 times in female and about 1.3 times in male of C. schulzi), and by the transformation of an outer distal spine to a slender seta on the distal exopodal segment of leg 4. Moreover, C. orientalis n. sp. is discernible from C. schulzi in having a pyriform copulatory tube (against elongated tubular style in C. schulzi). A key to the species hitherto known in the genus is provided.

플래시 메모리는 기존 저장 매체와는 달리 읽기 연산에 비해 쓰기 연산의 수행비용이 매우 크고, 저장된 데이타에 대한 갱신이 제한적인 고유의 특성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 플래시 메모리 환경이 기존의 레코드 관리 방법에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 기존의 레코드 관리 방법을 그대로 플래시 메모리에 적용하였을 때의 문제점을 지적한다. 이를 기반으로 플래시 메모리 환경을 위한 효율적인 레코드 관리 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 컨테이너 구조를 이용하여 레코드 삽입, 삭제, 수정 연산을 수행함으로써 덮어쓰기 연산을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있으며, 이로 인해 소거 연산을 크게 줄일 수 있다. 실험 결과에 의하면, 제안하는 방법은 기존 방법의 성능을 최대 34%까지 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.

최근 기록이 지닌 정보로서의 속성에 주목해야 한다는 논의가 활발히 제기되고 있다. 이는 전자기록 환경을 맞아 행위에 대한 증거로서의 속성에만 초점을 맞추어 온 동향에 대한 반향이다. 하지만 아직까지 기록이 지닌 정보로서의 속성에 대한 명확한 개념은 정립되지 않은 상태이다. 이에 본고에서는 기록과 정보 간의 관계 정립을 위한 일환으로 정보 컨티뉴엄 모델을 분석하고자 한다. 정보 컨티뉴엄은 레코드 컨티뉴엄을 기반으로 레코드키핑 관점에서의 새로운 정보 개념을 정립하기 위해 고안된 이론 체계로, 레코드키핑 내에 존재하는 정보관리를 위한 요소들을 파악할 수 있는 하나의 개념적 틀을 제공해준다. 이에 2장에서는 레코드 컨티뉴엄 개발 이후 정보 컨티뉴엄이 개발된 배경 및 과정을 살펴본 다음, 구조주의 이론 등 정보학 이론을 차용해 정립한 정보의 개념을 레코드 컨티뉴엄과 연계하여 고찰하였다. 이어 3장에서는 정보 컨티뉴엄의 개념적 구조와 함께 정보의 활용 목적 및 방식을 고찰한 후, 레코드키핑 내에 존재하는 정보관리를 위한 요소들을 구조적으로 도식화한 정보 컨티뉴엄 모델상의 4개 차원 및 속성을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 기반으로 4장에서는 정보 컨티뉴엄이 지닌 의의 및 한계를 제시하고자 하였다.

Acervus (Pyronemataceae, Pezizales) is a saprobic genus in Pezizomycetes, characterized by colored apothecia, subcylindrical to cylindrical asci and guttulate ascospores. We collected four Acervus samples from China and Thailand. Descriptions and illustrations are introduced for all fresh samples. One new record of A. globulosus from Thailand, one new species, A. rufus, two known species, A. epispartius and A. stipitatus from China are reported. Phylogenetic analysis based on five genes, the large subunit rRNA (LSU), the translation elongation factor-1 alpha (tef1-α), the second largest subunit of RNA polymerase II (rpb2), the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II (rpb1), and the small subunit rRNA (SSU), revealed the distinct position of the new species. The new species is set apart by its red apothecia. A key to Acervus species is also given.

꼬마새우류인 동해좁은뿔꼬마새우 (Heptacarpus jordani)가 한국 미기록종으로 판명되어 보고한다 혹등좁은뿔꼬마새우 (H. genicuiatus)는 재기재하였다. 한국산 좁은뿔꼬마새우속 6종에 대한 검색표를 제시하였다. 현재 한국산 꼬마새우과는 9속 21종이다
