The authors have assembled a sample of 80 W UMa binary systems (42 W-subtype and 38 A-subtype) whose light curves have all been solved by means of the recent W-D code and combined with up-to-date radial velocity solutions. The absolute parameters (masses, radii and luminosities) have been derived (without any constraint on the physical parameters). The main results of this paper are: (1) the mass-luminosity relations for both W&A-subtypes. as well as for all W UMa contact binaries have been shown, (2) the mass-radius relations have been found for both subtypes, (3) some remarks on the evolution status have been presented.

W.L.S. 알고리즘을 이용한 간접 M. R. L C. 방식으로서 직류전동기의 속도를 마이크로프로세서 M6509를 사용하여 제어하였으며 이를 통하여 W.L.S. 알고리즘의 빠른 수렴속도와 부하변동에 잘 적응하는 특성을 고략하였다.

21C, the age of culture, has the effects on the whole aspects in society with its cultural features, and the social changes become the foundation to create the new culture. The W generation, which accounts for Woman, World, Well-being, and Web, etc, leads the trend as 'a new group of powerful consumers' of establishing a new pattern. The W generation prefers psychidelic make-up using pearl through the cyber space, a space for communication like the N generation. In addition, through the Internet, leading the society of fusion or hybrid, with gender and age broken-up, the feminine as well as kidult-like make-up has emerged. On the other hand, with the influence of well-being on the whole society, well-looking appears outside, and lohas inside. The W generation prefers glossy make-up in order to make the skin healthy and polished, and eco-friendly products with lohas.

A $\kappa$-side switch box with W terminals on each side is said to be hyper universal, denoted by ($\kappa$, W)-HUSB, if it is routable for any global .outing with density at most W. In [5], we have proposed a switch box design strategy and designed a near optimum (4, W)-HUSB F(W) with 6.W switches. In this paper, we design, analyze and implement an efficient detailed routing algorithm for the S-box F(W). This router. can accommodate all routing requirement topologies.

Let r ≥ 2, and let k_i ≥ 2 for 1 ≤ i ≤ r. Mixed van der Waerden's theorem states that there exists a least positive integer w = w(k₁, k₂, k₃, …, k_r; r) such that for any n ≥ w, every r-colouring of [1, n] admits a k_i-term arithmetic progression with colour i for some i ∈ [1, r]. For k ≥ 3 and r ≥ 2, the mixed van der Waerden number w(k, 2, 2, …, 2; r) is denoted by w₂(k; r). B. Landman and A. Robertson [9] showed that for k < r < $\frac{3}{2}$(k - 1) and r ≥ 2k + 2, the inequality w₂(k; r) ≤ r(k - 1) holds. In this note, we establish some results on w₂(k; r) for 2 ≤ r ≤ k.

When 3-acetyl coumarin derivatives are treated with bromine, 3-(w-bromoacetyl) coumarin derivatives are obtained. The reaction of 3-(w-bromoacetyl)coumarin derivatives with thiourea or with amines for two hours leads to the formation of 2-Amino-4-(3-coumarinyl) thiazole or 3-(w-aminoacetyl) coumarin derivatives, respectively. While 3-(w-bromoacetyl) coumarin derivatives react with amines for 5-8 hours to yield imino derivatives of 3-(w-aminoacetyl) coumarin. The antimicrobial activity of Ia-b, IIa-c, IVc-f, IVh and V$_{c}$, f, h, k, m, and q was studied.d.

The author examined the response of Armorclad rockfish, Sebastes hubbsi [MATSUBARA]to the surface attracting lamps (0.5W, 0.8W, 1W) line in the experimental water tank ($550L{\times}58W{\times}73H$cm). The attraction rate was investigated in accordance with the intervals of lighting and putting out hour (1,5 minute) when each of the attraction lamps was gradually switched off after they were switched on all at once. The results are as follows : 1. Total distribution rate of fish in the illuminated section was 61.6%(mean 12.3%) in case of 1 minute interval, and 41.0%(mean 8.2%) in case of 5 minutes interval. 2. Mean distribution rate of fish at the illuminated section : \circled1Distribution rate at interval of 1 minute were 12.7% in 0.8W, 12.4% in 0.5W and 11.9% in 1 W respectively. \circled2Distribution rate at interval of 5 minutes were 9.0% in 1W, 8.6% in 0.8W and 7.0% in 0.5W respectively. 3. Attraction rates of the last section showed a little increasing as illuminating time elapsed. A difference of attraction rates according to lighting source in 1 minute interval was bigger than that in 5 minute interval. 4. Attraction rate of fish in only last section switched on : \circled1Attraction rate at interval in case of 1 minute were 52.0% in 0.8W, 46.7% in 0.5%W and 45.3% in 1W respectively. \circled2Attraction rate at interval in case of 5 minutes were 32.0% in 1W, 24.0% in 0.8W and 14.7% in 0.5W respectively.

Ni-W(1-5 at.%) alloy rods were made by powder metallurgy process including powder mixing, compacting and subsequent sintering. Ni and W powder of appropriate compositions were mixed by a ball milling and isostatically pressed in a rubber mold into a rod. The compacted rods were sintered at $1000^{\circ}C-1150^{\circ}C$ at a reduced atmosphere for densification. The lattice parameters of Ni-W alloys were estimated by a high resolution neutron powder diffractometer. All sintered rods were found to have a face centered cubic structure without any impurity phase, but the diffraction peak locations were linearly shifted with increasing W content. The lattice parameter of a pure Ni rod was $3.5238{\AA}$ which is consistent with the value reported in JCPDS data. The lattice parameter of N-W alloy rods increased by $0.004{\AA}$ for 1 atomic % of W, which indicates the formation of a Ni-W solid solution due to the substitution of nickel atoms by tungsten atoms of larger size.

W/O 에멀젼; 안정성; 유화제본 연구에서는 일반적으로 O/W 에멀젼에 비해 안정화가 어려운 W/O 에멀젼, 특히 유동성이 높은 저점도 W/O 에멀젼의 안정성 증진을 위하여 유화제, 전해질, 유화 안정화제, 겔화제 등을 적용한 다양한 실험을 수행하여 보았다. 그 결과 이번 실험에서는 Polyglyceryl-4 diisostearate/polyhydroxystearate/sebacate를 주 유화제로 하면서 PEG-30 dipolyhydroxystearate와 Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 dimethicone을 보조 유화제로 하는 유화 체계에, 전해질로 Sodium chloride를 0.5 %, 유화 안정화제로 Distearyldimonium chloride를 1 %, 유상 겔화제로 Glyceryl behenate/eicosadioate를 0.5 % 적용한 유화 입자도 작고 조밀하며 점도도 2,000 cps 이하로 일정하게 유지되는 안정한 저점도 W/O 에멀젼을 제조할 수가 있었다. 또한 상기와 같은 에멀젼 베이스에 무기 자외선 차단성분의 적용 실험을 통하여 안정성이 우수한 저점도 플루이드형 자외선 차단제품의 개발 가능성도 긍정적으로 검토할 수가 있었다.

In this paper, we proposed a protocol to convert 2W telephone analog signals to Ethernet data in a private PSTN 2W tactical voice system. There are several kinds of operational problems in the tactical telephone network where 2W telephone copper lines are installed hundreds of meters away from the PBX in a headquarter site. The reason is that it is difficult to install and maintain the 2W telephone copper cable in severe operational fields and to meet safety and stability operational requirements of the telephone line under lighting and electromagnetic environments. In order to solve these challenging demands, we proposed an efficient method that the 2W analog interface signals between a private PBX system and a 2W telephone is converted to Ethernet messages using the optical Ethernet data communication network already deployed in the tactical weapon system. Thus, it is not necessary to install an additional optic cable for the ethernet telephone line and to maintain the private PSTN 2W telephone network. Also it provides safe and secure telecommunication operation under lightning and electromagnetic environments. This paper presents the conversion protocol from 2W telephone signals over Ethernet interface between PBX systems and 2W telephones, the mutual exchange protocol of ethernet messages between two converters, and the rule to process analog signal interface. Finally, we demonstrate that the proposed technique can provide a feasible solution in the tactical weapon system by analyzing its performance and experimental results such as the bandwidth of 2W telephone ethernet network and the transmission latency of voice signal, and the stability of optic ethernet voice network along with the ethernet data network.
