Channel Equalization Algorithms for an WAVE System (WAVE 시스템을 위한 채널 등화 기법)

  • 현재 IEEE 802.11p 규격은 기존의 IEEE 802.11a 규격을 기반으로 하여 표준화가 진행되고 있다. 기존의 IEEE 802.11a 규격은 무선랜 (WLAN: Wireless Local Area Network) 규격으로서 고속으로 이동하는 차량 통신환경 즉 WAVE (Wireless Access for Vehicular Environment) 환경에 그대로 작용할 경우 수신 성능이 급격히 떨어지게 되 는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 긴 훈련 심볼 (LTS: Long Training Sequence)을 이용하는 기존의 채널 추정 기법을 기반으로 하되 WAVE 채널처럼 빠르게 변화하는 채널에 대응하기 위해 일정한 심볼 주기 마다 미드엠블 (Mid-Amble)을 삽입하는 전송구조를 제안한다. 또한, 미드엠블 사이의 심볼들의 위상과 크기를 3차원 스플라인 보간법을 적용하여 추정하는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리듬의 성능실험을 위해 WAVE 채널을 모델링하였으며 이러한 채널에서 성능실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과에 의하면 제안된 알고리듬은 빠른 시변 채널에서도 매우 우수한 성능을 나타냄을 알 수 있다.

  • IEEE 802.11 이 표준화 되면서 성능 분석에 대한 연구가 많이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 가장 대표적인 802.11 DCF 분석모델로 비앙키 모델이 있는데, 이는 채널에 에러가 없는 상황을 가정하여 분석하고 있다. 비앙키 모델에서는 모든 노드는 전송 시도를 했을 때 시간에 독립적인 확률p 의 전송 실패율을 갖게 된다는 디커플링 가정을 기반으로 분석하였으며, 대부분의 확장논문들 역시 이 가정을 바탕으로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디커플링 가정을 사용하지 않는 방법으로 채널에러가 존재하는 IEEE 802.11 DCF의 성능을 분석하였으며 분석 결과를 NS2 를 이용한 시뮬레이션과의 비교를 통해 분석의 정확성을 검증하였다.

Design of Integrated LTCC Front-End Module using Measurement-Based Behavioral Model for IEEE 802.11a WLAN Applications (측정기반 거동 모델을 이용한 IEEE 802.11a 무선랜용 LTCC Front-End 모듈 집적화 설계)

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of an integrated LTCC front-end module for the IEEE802.11a WLAN applications by performing the behavioral-level simulation using measurement-based behavioral model. To meet the IEEE802.11a WLAN standard, a system transmitting 1024 symbols through 64-QAM process at the rate of 54Mbps should be implemented and nonlinear properties are confirmed by simulations of ACPR and EVM in this circumstance. The right offsets of ACPR which are 30MHz, 20MHz, and 11MHz distant from the center frequency of 5.8GHz are 49.36dBc, 36.90dBc, and 24.58dBc, respectively. The left offsets are 50.14dBc, 30.04dBc, and 28.85dBc, respectively and EVM is 2.94%. The size of the module implemented with LTCC five-layer substrates is $13.4mm{\times}14.2mm$. The measured characteristics of the transmitter show P1dB of 16.2dBm and power gain of 16.73dB. Those of the receiver exhibit the small signal gain of 16.24dB and noise figure of 7.83dB.

An Active Buffer Management Mechanism to Guarantee the Qos of the Streaming Service in IEEE 802.11e EDCA (IEEE 802.11e EDCA에서 스트리밍 서비스의 QoS 보장을 위한 동적버퍼관리 기술)

  • Due to the advance of WLAN technology, the use of the multimedia service such as the video streaming service has been increased in the home network. However, we need to study the method which decreases the transmission delay and the frame loss rate to provide QoS of the video streaming service. Therefore, this paper proposes an active buffer management mechanism to guarantee QoS of the streaming service in IEEE 802.11e EDCA. The proposed protocol discards the frame in the HoL of the buffer based on the importance of each frame and the virtual transmission delay of frame newly arriving at the buffer. In the simulation results, the proposed algorithm not only decreases the frame loss probability of important I and P frames but also stabilizes the transmission delay. It may increase the QoS of video streaming services.

  • In VANET(Vheicle Ad hoc Network), the researches based on the wireless LAN are conducting and the method based on 802.11a is being adapted in IEEE 802.11p WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments). However, wireless LAN which uses a single channel in a competition can cause transmission delays because of a frequent collision and a use of CSMA/CA to avoid competition in VANET requiring a fast access. In this paper, we designed CMMP (Clustering based Multi-channel MAC protocol) adequate to VANET and then confirmed the appropriate channel conditions in a V2V communication on the basis of this protocol. The simulation results showed that a packet collision and a transmission delay by the use of an existing single channel based on the contention decreased more than 60% by CMMP.

  • Microwave Otters are essential device in modem wireless systems. A compact dimension BPF(Band-pass Filter) for IEEE 802.11a WLAN service is realized using LTCC multi-layer process. To extrude 2-stage band-pass equivalent circuit, band-pass and J-inverter transform applied to Chebyshev low-pass prototype filter. Because parallel L-C resonator is complicate and hard to control the inductor characteristics in high frequency, the shorted $\lambda/4$ stripline is selected for the resonator structure. The passive element is located in the different layers connected by conventional via structure and isolated by inner GND. The dimension of fabricated stacked band-pass filter which is composed of six layers, is $2.51\times2.27\times1.02\;mm^3$. The measured filter characteristics show the insertion loss of -2.25 dB, half-power bandwidth of 220 MHz, attenuation at 5.7 GHz of -32.25 dB and group delay of 0.9 ns at 5.25 GHz.

The two independent molecules are linked by the two N(2)-H(11)'S' hydrogen bonds[3.367(5) A and 3.421(4)A] and the dimergen are held together by van der Waals forces.

  • ITS services are quickly evolving due to the convergence of ICT technologies. WAVE technology based on IEEE802.11p specification has been introduced for the high speed vehicle communication and applied into the transportation system for driving safety and convenience. Recently, WAVE technology as a inter vehicle communication is used for cooperative driving application. In this paper, the implemented inter vehicle communication system is introduced and suggested as a solution for V2X communication. The performance of the implemented inter vehicle communication system is tested and analyzed under various conditions.

  • 차량 애드 혹 네트워크는 도심 교차로에서 도로의 특성과 차량의 높은 이동성으로 인해 네트워크의 단절이 자주 일어난다. 향상된 지리기반 라우팅 프로토콜인 GBSR(Greedy Border Superiority Routing)은 V2V(Vehicle-to-Vehicle)에 적합하다. 그러나 탐욕모드에서 stale노드가 로컬최대에 직면하는 문제를 가지고 있다. EGBSR(Enhanced GBSR)은 반대 방향의 차량과 같은 방향의 차량에게 보내는 비콘 메시지와 도로 정보를 관리하는 테이블을 이용하여 경로를 탐색하고 설정된 경로를 통해 패킷을 보낸다. 이를 통해 소스노드가 목적지노드에 빠르고 안전하게 패킷을 전달할 수 있는 양방향 라우팅 기법 제안한다.

Factors Related to the Health Promotion Practices in Employees of Local Hospitals (일부 병원 직원들의 건강증진 실천과 관련된 요인)

  • This study was done to identify the factors associated with health promotion practices of hospital employees. Data was surveyed using questionnaires by 204 hospital employees in 2 general hospitals which were located in Seoul from January 11 to February 11, 2010. The results were as follows ; First,, there was significantly higher difference(F=3.802, p=0.026) in self-efficacy for health promotion practices at the groups(3.71) which reported less stress than at the groups(2.64) which reported high stress. Secondly, there was significantly higher difference(F=3.496, p=0.048) in social support at the groups which do exercise than at the groups which do not exercise. Thirdly, self-efficacy and social support were significantly positive correlation(r=0.591, p<0.001). In conclusion, it need application and development that allow for positive self-management program to improve the practices of health promotion for hospital employees.
