할로겐 광중합기를 광원으로, 치면세균막 착색제인 erythrosine을 광감각제로 사용하여 S. mutans biofilm에 대한 광역동 치료를 시행할 때의 최적조건을 알아보기 위해서 erythrosine의 농도와 광조사 시간 및 광감각제의 접촉시간에 따른 광역동 치료의 효과를 비교하였다. erythrosine의 농도를 0, 10, 20, 40, $80{\mu}M$로 변화시킨 결과 농도가 증가할수록 항균효과가 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 $40{\mu}M$과 $80{\mu}M$의 두 군에서 통계적 유의성이 나타났다. 광 조사 시간을 0, 5, 15, 30, 60, 75초로 변화시킨 결과 조사 시간이 길어질수록 항균효과가 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 30초, 60초, 75초의 세 군에서 통계적 유의성이 나타났다. erythrosine 처리시간을 0분, 1분, 2분30초, 5분으로 변화시킨 결과 erythrosine과의 접촉시간이 늘어날수록 항균효과가 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 2분30초 군과 5분 군에서 통계적 유의성을 보였다. 이상의 결과로 광감각제로 사용한 erythrosine의 농도를 $20-40{\mu}M$, 광원으로 사용한 할로겐 광중합기의 광 조사시간을 30초 이상, 광감각제인 erythrosine을 2분30초 이상 처리하여 사용하는 것이 치아우식 예방을 위한 광역동 치료에 효과적임을 알 수 있다.

농업용 저수지의 80 % 이상이 50년 이상 된 노후 시설물로 안전성 및 기능 저하가 발생하고 있다. 이로 인해 저수지의 붕괴 등 안전사고가 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라서 저수지의 붕괴 등의 안전사고를 미연에 방지하고자 정밀안전진단을 실시하고 우선순위에 따라 수리시설개보수사업을 시행하고 있다. 하지만 사업 우선순위 선정의 대부분은 시설물 관리자의 주관적인 판단을 통해 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정밀안전진단 결과 및 기존의 수리시설 개보수사업의 의사결정 사례를 D/B화하여 80개의 가설을 설정하고 상관분석 및 유의성검정을 통해 45개의 변수를 선정하였다. 선정된 변수들을 로지스틱회귀분석을 이용하여 의사결정지원모델을 제시하였다. 의사결정지원모델의 변수는 총 21개가 채택되었으며 모델의 분류 정확도는 86.8 %로 나타났다. 본 연구는 수리시설개보수사업 선정을 위한 의사결정의 정량적인 지표를 제시 한 부분에 중요한 의의를 가진다.

Adaptive filter based code acquisition scheme offers a fast acquisition with a low error probability. However, it has been studied only under a coherent environment. In this paper, the noncoherent adaptive code acquisition scheme employing a differential detection technique is proposed. For the proposed scheme, system probabilities and the mean acquisition time are analyzed numerically. Simulation results show that the proposed system outperforms over the conventional matched filter by 2-4 ㏈ under AWGN channel for 16 taps.

This paper provides a solution for the problem of efficiency decrease caused by load variation. A novel control scheme of tracking the PT's operation frequency for the maximum efficiency is proposed. As a result, a high efficiency over $80\%$ has been achieved even under the output-current decrease down to $10\%$ of the full load current.

A mesh superposition technique is presented for an efficient analysis of structural behavior. Refined child mesh is superimposed over parent elements for the region of interest. It is a kind of adaptive mesh refinement, which allows locally refined mesh without introducing transition region or multipoint constraints. Proper boundary condition is necessary to avoid redundant rigid body motion and kinematic compatibility between neighbor elements. Delamination buckling analysis is conducted to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency of the present method.

Experimental demonstration of bipolar spectral encoding code-division multiple-access with modified pseudorandom noise codes is presented. Bipolar spectral encoding is achieved with an erbium-doped fiber amplifier amplified spontaneous emission source and arrayed waveguide gratings. The bit-error rate performance of 1.25 Gbps signal transmission over 80 km single mode fiber is measured in a multiple-user environment.

The effects of guide pads on burnishing action and accuracy of machined hole are investigated in drilling with burnishing drill using a speciaaly designed tool experimentally. The cutting forces are balanced at the small forward regions of guide pads. The burnishing action takes place under a high contact pressure between the bore wall and those regions. The over size mechanism of machined hole by the guide pads is discussed.

Many mushrooms of toadstool were collected all over the Korea from March 1976 to September 1999. They were identified and classified into anti-cancer mushrooms of toadstool. According to the result they were composed of 12 families, 19 genera and 32 species. Among them, 26 species of mushroom of toadstool is experimented about how their anticancer function works in China. But untill now, there has not been any other studies for medcinal function in Korea.

Speaker change detection involves the identification of time indices of an audio stream, where the identity of the speaker changes. In this paper, we propose novel measures for the speaker change detection based on a graph-partitioning criterion over the pairwise distance matrix of feature-vector stream. Experiments on both synthetic and real-world data were performed and showed that the proposed approach yield promising results compared with the conventional statistical measures.

This paper describes the influence of the electrode materials, moisture content, electrolyte density, temperature, surface state, ion absorbent on the C.T.I of phenolic resin by the I.E,C, 112 method. C.T.I are increased for electrode materials with low hydrogen overvoltage and high soluble point. Increusing moisture content of samples increased by logarithmical on the droplet number to tracking breakdown. Increasing electrolyte temperature region above 70-80(.deg.C) decreased hydrogen over-voltage, following the density changes are decreased by C.T.I=1/aD$^{2}$-bD+C.
