원거리 사위도가 입체시에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Distance Phoria on Stereoacuity)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 Carl Zeiss사의 Pola Test E-II를 이용하여 성인 대상자의 평균 원거리 입체시를 측정하였으며, 사위 교정에 따른 원거리 입체시의 변화를 평가하였다. 방법: 성인(19~46세) 50명(남 29명, 여 21명)을 대상으로 Pola Test E-II의 D6 Circle 시표와 D8 Line 시표를 이용하여 원거리 입체시를 조사하였다. 결과: 원거리 평균 입체시는 D6 Circle 검사의 경우에 159.6초, D8 Line 검사의 경우에 149.4초를 각각 나타냈다. 사위성분과 사위량에 따른 사위교정 전 후 원거리 입체시의 변화는 D6 Circle 검사의 경우에 외사위는 평균 43.2초 증가하였으며, 내사위는 평균 51초 증가하였다. D8 Line 검사의 경우에 외사위는 평균 42초 증가하였으며, 내사위는 평균 70.2초 증가하였다. 결론: 입체시 검사 결과로부터 내사위인 경우에 외사위인 경우보다 사위교정 후 입체시가 더 크게 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

Capturing Distance Parameters Using a Laser Sensor in a Stereoscopic 3D Camera Rig System

  • Camera rigs for shooting 3D video are classified as manual, motorized, or fully automatic. Even in an automatic camera rig, the process of Stereoscopic 3D (S3D) video capture is very complex and time-consuming. One of the key time-consuming operations is capturing the distance parameters, which are near distance, far distance, and convergence distance. Traditionally these distances are measured by tape measure or triangular indirect measurement methods. These two methods consume a long time for every scene in shot. In our study, a compact laser distance sensing system with long range distance sensitivity is developed. The system is small enough to be installed on top of a camera and the measuring accuracy is within 2% even at a range of 50 m. The shooting time of an automatic camera rig equipped with the laser distance sensing system can be reduced significantly to less than a minute.

Characteristics of Supersonic Jet Impingement on a Flat Plate

  • Viscous solutions of supersonic jet impinging on a flat plate normal to the flow are simulated using three-dimensional Navier-Stokes solver. The jet impinging flow structure exhibits such complex nature as shock shell, plate shock and Mach disk depending on the flow parameters. Among others, the dominant parameters are the ratio of the nozzle exit pressure to the ambient pressure and the distance between the nozzle exit plane and the impinging plane. In the present study, the nozzle contour and the pressure ratio are held fixed, while the jet impinging distance is varied to illuminate the characteristics of the jet plume with the distance. As the plate is placed close to the nozzle at 3D high, the computed wall pressure at or near the jet center oscillates with large amplitude with respect to the mean value. Here D is the nozzle exit diameter. The amplitude of wall pressure fluctuations subsides as the distance increases, but the maximum pressure level at the plate is achieved when the distance is about 4D high. The frequency of the wall pressure is estimated at 6.0 kHz, 9.3 kHz, and 10.0 kHz as the impinging distance varies from 3D, 4D, to 6D, respectively.

Single Lap Riveted Joint의 베어링 거동 연구 (Study on Bearing Response of Single Lap Riveted Joint)

  • In this study, bearing response in single lap riveted joint is investigated by menas of single lap shear specimens with different types of adherend and fastener. Single lap shear specimen consists of adherend of SUS403 and carbon fabric/epoxy composite. Rivet of Avdel 2691 with 9.6mm diameter is used. Two types of fastener in single lap riveted joint are considered. One is a single lap shear specimen with single fastener, and the other is a single lap shear specimen with double fasteners. Especially, in case of single lap shear specimen with single fastener, the width of the specimen is varied as 2D, 3D, 4D, 6D at a fixed edge distance of 3D. Also the edge distance of the specimen is varied as 1.0D, 1.5D, 2.0D, 2.5D, 3.0D at a fixed width of 4D. In case of single lap shear specimen with double fasteners, two types of specimen are considered. One is a specimen with the width of 6D and edge distance of 3D. The other is a specimen with the width of 4D and edge distance of 2D. Here D designates the hole diameter for riveted joint.

거리계산 보정 알고리즘을 이용한 LED 거리 인식 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on LED Distance Recognition Measure Using Distance Measurement Correction Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 거리계산 보정 알고리즘을 이용하여 거리 인식 측정을 LED 디밍제어를 통해 구현하였다. 원거리에서 측정되는 RSSI 값의 오차를 줄이기 위해 RSSI 평균 필터링과 Feedback 필터링에 대한 계산 값을 산출 적용시켰다. 평균 필터링을 통한 RSSI 값과 Feedback, 필터링의 계수 값을 0.5로 설정하여 측정한 RSSI 값이 일반적인 측정에 비해 최대 -61dBm에서 최소 -52.5dBm으로 약 -2dBm에서 -6dBm 정도로 불규칙하고 높은 값이 다소 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 정확도 향상을 위한 거리계산 보정 알고리즘을 응용하였으며 이를 통하여 거리가 증가함에 따라 오차의 범위가 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 RSSI 측정결과 필터링을 이용해 불안정한 신호를 보정하였으며, 오차 범위를 줄이기 위해 거리계산 보정 알고리즘을 적용 시행하였다. 또한 거리판별과 신호의 안정도를 표시하기 위해 LED로 RGB 색상을 구현하였다.

볼록한 표면위에 분사되는 원형경사충돌제트의 국소열전달계수 측정에 관한 연구 (Measurement of the local heat transfer coefficient on a convex hemispherical surface with round oblique impinging jet)

  • Measurements of the local heat transfer coefficients were made on a hemispherically convex surface with a round oblique impinging jet. The liquid crystal transient method was used for these measurements. This method, which is a variation on the transient method, suddenly exposes a preheated wall to an impinging jet while video recording the response of liquid crystal for the surface temperature measurements. The Reynolds number used was 23000 and the nozzle-to-surface distance was L/d=2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 and the jet angle was $\alpha$=$0^{\circ}\; 15^{\circ}\;30^{\circ}C\; and \;40^{\circ}C$. In the experiment, the Nusselt number at the stagnation point decreases as the jet angle increases and has the maximum value for L/d=6. The X-axis Nusselt number distributions exhibit Secondary maxima at $0^{\circ}C\re $\alpha$\re 15^{\circ}C, L/d\le6$ for X/d<0(upstream) and at $0^{\circ}C\re $\alpha$40^{\circ}C,\;L/d\le4\;and\; at\; 30^{\circ}C\re $\alpha$$\leq$40^{\circ}C,\;L/d\le 6 $for X/d>0(downstream). The secondary maxima occurs at long distance from the stagnation point as the jet angle increases or the nozzle-to-surface distance decreases. The Y-axis Nusselt number distributions exhibit secondary maxima at Y/d=$\pm$2 for $0^{\circ}C\le a\le30^{\circ}C\; and\; L/d\le4, and \;for\;$\alpha$=40^{\circ}C$and L/d=2. The displacement of the maximum Nusselt number from the stagnation point increases as the jet angle increases or the nozzle-to-surface distance decreases and the maximum distance is about 0.67 times of the nozzle diameter. The ratio of the maximum Nusselt number to the stagnation Nusselt number increases as the jet angle increases.

환경 적응적 3D 깊이 재구성 방법 (A New 3D Depth Reconstruction Method Adaptive to Various Environments)

  • The recent development of the HD (High Definition) and UHD (Ultra High Definition) technology allowed the growth of 3D contents market. Yet the majority of the 3D contents in the market are strictly for 6.5 cm inter-ocular distance, causing various visual discomforts for the viewers who have different inter-ocular distance. Moreover, because the 3D contents are created for a fixed viewing distance, the change of the viewing distances when watching 3D contents can also cause visual conflicts. To solve this problem, we devised techniques that consider the environmental information of the viewer watching 3D contents. By analyzing the relationship between viewing distance, inter-ocular distance, and perceived depth, we created an adaptive content viewing system that reflects the viewer's environment to minimize any conflicts in watching 3D contents. From our experiments, we found that the performance of our adaptive content viewing system was reasonable.

1m 거리에서 최적화된 안테나를 통한 공진방식 무선전력전송 (Resonant Type Wireless Power Transfer Using an Optimized Antenna at 1m Distance)

  • 본 논문에서는 자기공진방식 무선전력전송 표준인 A4WP (alliance for wireless power) 주파수 6.78 MHz에서, 1 m 거리 무선전력전송 안테나를 최적화하고 이에 따른 시뮬레이션 및 측정 결과를 비교하였다. 전력전송 거리는 시스템 형태, 안테나의 크기, 공진기내 코일과 코일사이 간격인 피치(pitch) 등 다양한 요인에 따라 영향을 받으며, 전자계 시뮬레이션을 통해 이를 확인하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 고정된 거리에 대하여 최적화된 무선전력전송 안테나를 설계하였으며, 거리에 따른 전송손실인 ${\mid}S_{21}{\mid}$ 값을 계산하였다. 설계된 안테나를 제작하여 측정치를 시뮬레이션 값과 비교한 결과, 최대 1.3 m 거리에서 시뮬레이션은 전송손실 1.6dB 및 효율 69 %, 측정결과는 전송손실 1.5dB 및 효율 70 %를 나타내었다.

도로 토목 공사 현장에서 UAV를 활용한 위성 영상 지도의 정확도 분석 (Accuracy Analysis of Satellite Imagery in Road Construction Site Using UAV)

  • Google provides mapping services using satellite imagery, this is widely used for the study. Since about 20 years ago, research and business using drones have been expanding. Pix4D is widely used to create 3D information models using drones. This study compared the distance error by comparing the result of the road construction site with the DSM data of Google Earth and Pix4 D. Through this, we tried to understand the reliability of the result of distance measurement in Google Earth. A DTM result of 3.08 cm/pixel was obtained as a result of matching with 49666 key points for each image. The length and altitude of Pix4D and Google Earth were measured and compared using the obtained PCD. As a result, the average error of the distance based on the data of Pix4D was measured to be 0.68 m, confirming that the error was relatively small. As a result of measuring the altitude of Google Earth and Pix4D and comparing them, it was confirmed that the maximum error was 83.214m, which was measured using satellite images, but the error was quite large and there was inaccuracy. Through this, it was confirmed that there are difficulties in analyzing and acquiring data at road construction sites using Google Earth, and the result was obtained that point cloud data using drones is necessary.
