위상 변위기용 $BaTiO_3$계 세라믹의 유전특성 (Dielectric Properties of $BaTiO_3$ System Ceramics for Microwave Phased Shifter)

  • $(Ba_{0.6-x}Sr_{0.4}Ca_x)TiO_3$ + ywt% MgO (x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20, y=0.0~3.0) ceramics were fabricated by the conventional solid-state reaction, and their structural and dielectric properties were investigated with variation of composition ratio and MgO doping content. A second phase, representative of MgO, appears in 3wt% MgO-doped BSCT specimens. Average grain sizes decreased with increasing amounts of MgO, and the BSCT(40/40/20) specimens doped with 3wt% MgO showed a value of $9.3{\mu}m$. The Curie temperature and relative dielectric constant at room temperature were decreased with increasing MgO doping content and Ca composition ratio. The relative dielectric constant was non-linearly decreased as the field strength is increased. The tunability was increased with decreasing a Ca content and the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen doped with 1.0wt% MgO content showed the highest value of 6.4% at 5kV/cm.

  • It was investigated that the structural and electrical Properties of Ce-doped Ba(Zr$_{x}$Ti$_{1-x}$ )O$_3$ (BCZT) thin films with a mole fraction of x=0.2 and a thickness about 100 nm. BCZT films were prepared on Pt/Ti/SiO$_2$/Si substrate by a RF magnetron sputtering system. We have measured the thickness profile with Ar/O$_2$ ratio and the surface roughness. It was observed that the oxygen gas, which introduced during the film deposition, have an influence on the roughness of the film and the film roughness was reduced by annealing from 2.33 nm to 2.02 nm (RMS at 500 $^{\circ}C$, Ar:6 sccm, $O_2$:6 sccm). It was found that annealing procedure after top electrode deposit can reduce the dissipation factor.

  • Microwave dielectric properties of $0.15(Ba_xSr_{0.05})O-0.15(Sm_{2(1-y)}Nd_{2y})O_3-0.7TiO_2$ ($x=0.9{\sim}1.0[mol.]$, y=6[m/0]) and $0.15(Ba_{0.95}Sr_{0.05})O-0.15(Sm_{2(1-y)}Nd_{2y})O_3-zTiO_2$(y=6[m/o], $z=0.66{\sim}0.7[mol.]$) ceramics were investigated with the contents of BaO and $TiO_2$. In the specimen with contents of BaO (0.975[mol.]), dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency have good values of 76.52, 3001(at 3[GHz]), +0.71[ppm/$^{\circ}C$], respectively. In the specimen with contents of $TiO_2$(0.69[mol.]), dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency showed the maximum values of 80.89, 3057(at 3[GHz]), +26.12[ppm/$^{\circ}C$], respectively.

  • In this paper, we first applied the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process to the planarization of ferroelectric film in order to obtain a good planarity of electrode/ferroelectric film interface. BST ($Ba_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}TiO_3$), PZT ($Pb_{1.1}(Zr_{0.52}TiO_{0.48})O_3$) and BTO ($BaTiO_3$) ferroelectric film are fabricated by the sol-gel method. And then, we compared the structural characteristics before and after CMP process of BST, PZT, BTO films. Their dependence on slurry composition was also investigated. We expect that our results will be useful promise of global planarization for ferroelectric random access memories (FRAM) application in the near future.

  • 본연구는 45 BaO-20B$_{2}$O$_{3}$-35Fe$_{2}$o$_{3}$(wt%)의 조성의 유리에 핵형성제로서 TiO$_{2}$또는 ZrO$_{2}$를 첨가한 조성에서는 barium ferrite(BaFe$_{12}$O$_{19}$)가 결정화되었다. TiO$_{2}$를 9wt%첨가한 조성에 대하여 활성화에너지와 진동수는 각각 235.45kJ/mol, 진동수 6.89x$10^{17}$S$^{-1}$이었으며, Avrami지수는 1$\leq$n $\leq$로서 일방향의 결정성장으로 나타났다. 또한, ZrO$_{2}$9wt% 첨가 조성에서는, 활성화에너지와 진동수는 각각 173.86kJ/mol, 2.65x$10^{14}$S$^{-1}$이었으며, Avrami지수는 2$\leq$n$\leq$3로서 이방향의 결정성장을 나타내었다.내었다.

In vitro Multiplication and Corm Production of Freesia hybrida 'Sunny Gold'

  • Freesia has been an important worldwide cut flower because of its fragrance, long vase life and the wide color range of the flower. The conventional propagation methods by seeds and corms have many disadvantages such as shorter inflorescences with fewer numbers of florets, a reduction in cut flower quality and the accumulation of plant viruses in corms by successive cultivation. Therefore, the conventional propagation systems in Freesia needs to be replaced with tissue cultures to overcome the disadvantages. This study explored an efficient multiplication protocol using the combination of plant growth regulators (PGRs) for developed cultivar 'Sunny Gold'. The combination between 6-benzylaminopurin (BA) and α-naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) did not produce new shoots but developed enlarged roots. BA only treatments and the combination between BA and kinetin treatments were effective on shoot multiplication. The highest average number of shoots was 5.3 in the presence of 3 mg/L BA and 0.5 mg/L kinetin. To produce corms and cormlets, proliferated shoots were subcultured on 1/2 Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 90 g/L sucrose, 1 g/L charcoal and 7 g/L plant agar and placed at 4℃ in the dark for 6 months. The small size of corms and comlets were produced. The average number of regenerated comlets was 2.75 per shoot. The results showed that shoot multiplication is more efficient than cormlet regeneration for in vitro freesia proliferation.

  • Let R be a ring with identity. If a, b, $c{\in}R$ such that a+b+c = 1, then the distributive laws from addition over multiplication hold in R, that is a+(bc) = (a+b)(a+c) when ab = ba, and (ab)+c = (a+c)(b+c) when ac = ca. An application to obtains, if A,B are idempotent matrices and AB = BA = 0 then there exists an idempotent matrix C such that A + BC = (A + B)(A + C), and also A + BC = (I - C)(I - B). Some other cases and applications are also presented.
