  • Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is a network based IP mobility management protocol. PMIPv6 make sure that the IP address of the mobile node remains the same as long as the mobile node roams with in the PMIPv6 domain. A mobile node roams with in a PMIPv6 domain. PMIPv6 protocol doesn't provide the mobility support once the mobile node moves from one PMIPv6 domain to another PMIPv6 domain. This paper proposes a Software Defined Networking (SDN) based PMIPv6 scheme which provides the mobility support for inter PMIPv6 domain movement of mobile node. In the proposed architecture each PMIPv6 domain has a SDN controller and SDN controllers from different domains communicate with each other to share the mobility information.

  • The interactions of iodobenzene with iodine, iodine monobromide, iodine monochloride and chlorine in carbon tetrachloride solution have been investigated by means of ultraviolet spectrophotometric measurements. The results reveal the formation of one to one molecular complexes, $C_6H_5I{\cdot}I_2$, $C_6H_5I{\cdot}IBr$, $C_6H_5I{\cdot}ICl$, and $C_6H_5I{\cdot}Cl_2$, in solution. The equilibrium constants obtained at room temperature (about $21^{\circ}C$) for the formation of these four complexes are 0.23, 0.73, 1.2 and 0.070 l $mole^{-1}$, respectively. Comparison of these results with those reported in the literature on other complexes of similar type indicates that the relative stabilities of these complexes decrease in the following orders: ICl>IBr>$I_2$>$Br_2$>$Cl_2$ $C_6H_5I$>$C_6H_6$>$C_6H_5Br$>$C_6H_5Cl$>$C_6H_5F$.

  • 6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low Power Wireless Sensor Network) standardized by IETF does not support the mobility of wireless sensor nodes. Since the wireless sensor node, subject to a lot of constraints in the CPU, memory, a battery is not easy to apply to existing protocols such as Mobile IPv6. In this paper, we propose a novel mobility management architecture and methods to work with 6LoWPAN based on the analysis on FPMIPv6 (Fast PMIPv6) the host is not a handover procedure performed in order to support the mobility of such sensor nodes. It was suggested the use of a dispatch code pattern that is not currently used in 6LoWPAN for inter-working, MAG and MAC, MAC in order to reduce packet loss caused as the authentication delay in the handover process to minimize the power consumption of a sensor node that is caused by the re-transmission the new concept of temporary guarantee (temporary guarantee) and trust relationships (trust relationship) between AAA and introduced.

  • With increasing use of a personal mobile computer. the Mobile IPv6 is one of the main protocols that support mobility and complies with IPv6 specification. Similar to the mobile IPv6, the mobile IPv6 also has limitations on fast moving condition. The Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 is a solution that overcomes these limitations. The Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 is a micro mobility protocol that supports fast mobile IP handover and reduces signaling overhead with Mobility Anchor Point(MAP). But until now no paging method is applied to the Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 to reduce unnecessary signaling overhead and power consumption of mobile nodes. So, the paging mechanism for the Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 is proposed in this paper. the mechanism is implemented by making use of the destination option header and extension function and the last location algorithm. The results show that the Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 with the paging ability reduces the traffic of mobile networks by removing unnecessary binding update packet generated whenever handover takes place. Also, the larger the paging size is. the less the number of BU(Binding Update) massage generated.

  • This study presented the effects of the assumed mass-size relationship for snow on the simulated surface precipitation by using cloud microphysics parameterizations in Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model. The selected cloud microphysics parameterizations are WRF Double-Moment 6-class (WDM6) and WRF Single-Moment 6-class (WSM6) in the WRF model. We replaced the mass-size relationship for snow in WDM6 and WSM6 with Thompson's mass-size relationship retrieved from measurement data. The sensitivity of the modified WDM6 and WSM6 was tested for the idealized 2-dimensional squall line and winter precipitation system over the Korean peninsula, respectively. The modified WDM6 and WSM6 resulted in the increase of graupel/rain mixing ratios and the decrease of snow mixing ratio in the low atmosphere. The changes of hydrometeor mixing ratio and surface precipitation could be due to the collision-coalescence process between raindrops and snow and the graupel melting process.

  • The geometrical parameters and binding energies of the benzene ion-water complex [$C_6H_6^+-(H_2O)_n$(n=1-5)] have been investigated using ab initio (MP2) and density functional theory (DFT) with large basis sets. The harmonic vibrational frequencies and IR intensities are also determined to confirm that all the optimized geometries are true minima. Also zero-point vibrational energies have been considered to predict the binding energies. The predicted binding energy of 8.6 kcal/mol for $C_6H_6^+-(H_2O)$ at the MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ level of theory is in excellent agreement with recent experimental result of $8.5{\pm}1$ kcal/mol.

  • Nuclear receptor coactivator 6 (NCOA6) is a transcriptional coactivator of nuclear receptors and other transcription factors. A general Ncoa6 knockout mouse was previously shown to be embryonic lethal, but we here generated liver-specific Ncoa6 knockout (Ncoa6 LKO) mice to investigate the metabolic function of NCOA6 in the liver. These Ncoa6 LKO mice exhibited similar blood glucose and insulin levels to wild type but showed improvements in glucose tolerance, insulin sensitivity, and pyruvate tolerance. The decrease in glucose production from pyruvate in these LKO mice was consistent with the abrogation of the fasting-stimulated induction of gluconeogenic genes, phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1 (Pck1) and glucose-6-phosphatase (G6pc). The forskolin-stimulated inductions of Pck1 and G6pc were also dramatically reduced in primary hepatocytes isolated from Ncoa6 LKO mice, whereas the expression levels of other gluconeogenic gene regulators, including cAMP response element binding protein (Creb), forkhead box protein O1 and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator 1α, were unaltered in the LKO mouse livers. CREB phosphorylation via fasting or forskolin stimulation was normal in the livers and primary hepatocytes of the LKO mice. Notably, it was observed that CREB interacts with NCOA6. The transcriptional activity of CREB was found to be enhanced by NCOA6 in the context of Pck1 and G6pc promoters. NCOA6-dependent augmentation was abolished in cAMP response element (CRE) mutant promoters of the Pck1 and G6pc genes. Our present results suggest that NCOA6 regulates hepatic gluconeogenesis by modulating glucagon/cAMP-dependent gluconeogenic gene transcription through an interaction with CREB.

  • This study was conducted to improve the storability of onion bulbs by loading method under room temperature and to reduce the rot caused by field open storage. Allium cepa cv. Changnyungdeago, late strain, was used for the test at the storage condition of 1-row-6-stairs, 2-rows-6-stairs, 4-rows-6-stairs, 1-rows-8-stairs, 2-rows-8-stairs, and 4-rows-8-stairs. The results obtained art as follows: The mean temperature was maintained lowly 1.6∼3.2$\^{C}$ in 1-row-6-stairs and 1.3∼2.6$\^{C}$ in 2-rows-6-stairs in contrast to 4-rows-8-stairs and the relative humidity was high when loading rows increased. The rotting rates in 1-row-6-stairs, 2-rows-6-stairs, 4-rows-6-stairs, 1-rows-8-stairs, 2-rows-8-stairs, and 4-rows-8-stairs were 11.4%, 11.6%, 12.4%, 14.6%, 13.9% and 16.6%, respectively, and became higher with increased rows and stairs of loading. Total weight loss of onion bulbs were l2.2%, 12.7%, 13.8%, 15.5%, 15.2% and 18.0% in 1-row-6-stairs, 2-rows-6-stairs, 4-rows-6-stairs, 1-row-8-stairs, 2-rows-8-stairs, and 4-rows-8-stairs, respectively. The rot of onion bulbs was caused mainly by Fusarium sp., Aspergilus sp., Botrytis sp., and bacteria.

  • Purpose: By confirm the change of popliteal arterial position when extension or flexion of the knee and estimate the change of popliteal arterial position after posterior capsular release, we tried to know the position can minimize injury of popliteal artery during arthroscopic surgery and usefulness of posterior capsular release. Materials and Methods: Total of two middle-aged man and woman, fresh frozen cadavers as systemic, all four cases of the knee were included in this study. After the knee was flexed to 0 degrees, 30 degrees, 60 degrees, 90 degrees angle, we estimated distance from posterior tibial cortex to popliteal artery at articular surface, the distal 1 cm and 2 cm from articular surface. We performed posterior capsular release by arthroscopy, and estimated distance between posterior tibial cortex and popliteal artery in the same way. Results: Mean distance between popliteal artery and posterior tibial cortex was 6.3 mm (4.5~7), 4.6 mm (3.6~6), 4.9 mm (3.9~5.8) when knee flexion to 0 degrees at articular surface, distal 1 cm and 2 cm from articular surface each. When knee flexion to 30 degrees, it was 7.4 mm (5.2~9), 4.9 mm (3.6~7.2), 5.3 mm (3.8~6.6). When knee flexion to 60 degrees, it was 8.7 mm (5.4~11), 5.2 mm (4.9~7.3), 6.2 mm (5.4~9.6). When knee flexion to 90 degrees, it was 9.8 mm (5.8~12.1), 5.5 mm (5.1~7.4), 6.5 mm (5.4~10.7). After posterior capsule release, the distance was 6.5 mm (5.5~7.5), 5.8 mm (3.9~7.2), 5.2 mm (3.8~7.0) when knee flexion to 0 degrees, 7.7 mm (5.5~9,1), 7.1 mm (4.6~7.6), 5.5 mm (4.1~6.9) when knee flexion to 30 degrees, 8.9 mm (5.7~11.2), 8.5 mm (5.5~9.2), 6.4 mm (5.3~10.1) when knee flexion to 60 degrees and 10.2 mm (6.3~13.6), 9.5 mm (6.5~11), 6.6 mm (5.9~9.8) when knee flexion to 90 degrees. Conclusion: As knee joint is flexed, the distance from posterial tibial cortex to popliteal artery are increased beween knee joint articular surface and distal 2 cm from knee joint. So popliteal artery injury will be reduced at knee joint surgery. Posterior capsular release could also reduce popliteal artery injury by increasing distance between posterior tibial cortex and popliteal artery.
