  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between personality type and symptoms and contributing factors of temporomandibular disorders. 199 college students completed the MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and a questionnaire and collected data were analyzed by SAS 9.2 program. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The prevalence of symptoms of temporomandibular disorders and mean scales of positive answers of contributing factors appeared to be higher in I type, S type, T type, P type than in E type, N type, F type, J type. 2. ISTP and ISFP among 16 types of personality seemed to have higher prevalence of symptoms and contributing factors of temporomandibular disorders than other types of personality. 3. Symptom of TMJ pain during mouth opening seemed to occur more frequently in I type, S type, F type, J type than in E type, N type, T type, P type. 4. Contributing factors including clenching and stressful state occurred significantly more frequently in I type than E type. Gum chewing habit occurred significantly more frequently in E type than in I type. 5. Unilateral chewing habit occurred significantly more frequently in J type than in P type. 6. Nervous or sensitive persons had significantly higher mean scales of positive answers of subjective symptoms than relaxed or general persons. 7. General persons had significantly lower mean scales of positive answers of contributing factors than nervous, sensitive and relaxed persons. In conclusion, these results show that there is the relationship between personality and temporomandibular disorders and patient education and counselling considering personality type may contribute to treating patients with temporomandibular disorders.

  • The film enters the color film from black and white, and the screen image changes qualitatively. The color in the film not only has the reproduction function of the restoration object like the objective appearance, but also has the function of conveying different subjective emotions. It can express the color and can't express it. The artistic effect conveys the information content that the story itself can't convey, so the color of the film becomes an important part of the film language. The color in the film is presented on the screen in the form of single-screen color, scene color, full-color color tone, and various color chains designed according to different contradictions and conflicts. Because the film art and art means are assembled by montage, he colors in the picture also form a montage form. People call it "color montage". People's subjective nature of color criticism and acceptance of color language also depend on various local tones. The accurate expression of the relationship, the unique attribute of color determines that the color must enter the structural state in order to express its unique charm. The color of the film only has the real aesthetic value when it enters the level of "color structure". This paper studies the color of Chinese and Western films from the differences between the color thinking of Chinese and Western film directors and the cultural implication of Chinese and Western film colors. The western film director emphasizes the structure of color and pays attention to the use of tonal montage to convey the characters. Emotions reflect the characteristics of a subjective color. Beginning with the "fifth-generation" director of Chinese film, the new journey of film color language has been opened. In the process of blending love and scenery, the film style of "image-in-one" has been achieved.

  • A framework has recently been developed to evaluate the user experience (UX) design for a virtual reality (VR) indoor bike. However, no comparative evaluation has been performed for an actual product using this framework. This paper investigates the effectiveness of the framework and identifies some problems when applying it. To validate the framework, we applied the proposed framework to a Korean VR indoor bike (KoVIB) prototype and VirZOOM, a commercial VR bike. The evaluation criteria consist of usability, emotional aspects, user values, and sense of reality. These four criteria were interpreted to evaluate prototypes and include 13, 6, 8, and 16 sub-elements, respectively. The results revealed the strengths and weakness between the Korean prototype and the commercial product, which are valuable for promotion and improvement. The framework helps to identify some problems when applied to real domains. As a result, we recommend a revised framework to compare prototypes with existing VR bikes.

  • Human emotion can be reflected by their facial expressions. So, it is one of good ways to understand people's emotions by recognizing their facial expressions. General recognition system of facial expressions had selected interesting points, and then only extracted features without analyzing physical meanings. They takes a long time to find interesting points, and it is hard to estimate accurate positions of these feature points. And in order to implement a recognition system of facial expressions on real-time embedded system, it is needed to simplify the algorithm and reduce the using resources. In this paper, we propose a real-time recognition algorithm of facial expressions that project the grid points on an expression space based on Gabor wavelet feature. Facial expression is simply described by feature vectors on the expression space, and is classified by an neural network with its resources dramatically reduced. The proposed system deals 5 expressions: anger, happiness, neutral, sadness, and surprise. In experiment, average execution time is 10.251 ms and recognition rate is measured as 87~93%.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of store choice criteria on customer satisfaction and store loyalty, and the moderating effects of customer emotions on the causal relationship between store choice criteria and customer satisfaction. In this regard, this study tries to identify the effects of store choice criteria on customer satisfaction and store loyalty in case of mass merchandisers, and to analyze the moderating effects of customer emotions on the causal relationship between store choice criteria and customer satisfaction. For this purpose, 300 customers, who have ever shopped at mass merchandisers, were surveyed and 246 valid responses were finally used for the data analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, out of six store choice criteria, product factors, store reputation and physical environment turn out to have statistically significant effects on customer satisfaction. This result confirms those of the previous studies. On the other hand, store accessibility, subsidiary facilities and store atmosphere are not found to have statistically significant effects on customer satisfaction. This result is somewhat different from those of previous studies, and so further research on the subject needs to be carried out. Secondly, it turns out that customer satisfaction has a statistically significant effect on store loyalty, which is in line with the results of previous studies that perceived emotions affect customers' store attitudes which in turn influence their revisit intentions. Thirdly, as for the moderating effects of customer emotions on the relationship between store choice criteria and customer satisfaction, pleasure moderates the effects of store accessibility, subsidiary facilities and store atmosphere on customer satisfaction, arousal moderates the effects of product factors, subsidiary facilities and store reputation on customer satisfaction, and finally dominance moderates the effects of product factors and subsidiary facilities on customer satisfaction. These findings partially support the results of previous studies that customers' in-store emotional experiences such as feeling good or bad enhance their store loyalty.

  • This case used MI techniques that give an imagery experience to depressed client's mental resource, and that makes in to verbalism. Also those images are supportive level therapy examples that apply to positive variation. MI is simple word of 'Music and Imagery' with one of psychology cure called GIM(Guided Imagery and Music). It makes client can through to the inner world and search, confront, discern and solve with suitable music. Supportive Level MI is only used from safety level music. Introduction of private session can associate specification feeling, subject, word or image. And those images are guide to positive experience. The First session step of MI program is a prelude that makes concrete goal like first interview. The Second step is a transition that can concretely express about client's story. The third step is induction and music listening. And it helps to associate imagery more easily by used tension relaxation. Also it can search and associate about various imagery from the music. The last step is process that process drawing imagery, talking about personal imagery experience in common with therapist that bring the power by expansion the positive experience. Client A case targets rapport forming(empathy, understanding and support), searching positive recourse(child hood, family), client's emotion and positive support. Music must be used simple tone, repetition melody, steady rhythm and organized by harmony music of what therapist and client's preference. The client used defense mechanism and couldn't control emotion by depression in 1 & 2 sessions. But the result was client A could experience about support and understanding after 3 sessions. After session 4 the client had stable, changed to positive emotion from the negative emotion and found her spontaneous. Therefore, at the session 6, the client recognized that she will have step of positive time at the future. About client B, she established rapport forming(empathy, understanding and support) and searching issues and positive recognition(child hood, family), expression and insight(present, future). The music was comfortable, organizational at the session 1 & 2, but after session 3, its development was getting bigger and the main melody changed variation with high and low of tune. Also it used the classic and romantic music. The client avoids bad personal relations to religious relationship. But at the session 1 & 2, client had supportive experience and empathy because of her favorite, supportive music. After session 3, client B recognized and face to face the present issue. But she had avoidance and face to face of ambivalence. The client B had a experience about emotion change according depression and face to face client's issues After session 4. At the session 5 & 6, client tried to have will power of healthy life and fairly attitude, train mental power and solution attitude in the future. On this wise, MI program had actuality and clients' issues solution more than GIM program. MI can solute the issue by client's based issue without approach to unconsciousness like GIM. Especially it can use variety music and listening time is shorter than GIM and structuralize. Also can express client's emotion very well. So it can use corrective and complement MI program to children, adolescent and adult.

  • This paper describes a technique for human sensibility evaluation using EEGs of 4 emotions. The proposed method uses the linear predictor coefficients as EEG feature parameters and a neural network as sensibility pattern classifier. For subject independent system, multiple templates are stored and the most similar template can be selected. EEG signals corresponding to 4 emotions such as relaxation, joy, sadness and anger are collected from 5 armature performers. The states of relaxation and joy are considered as positive sensibility and those of sadness and anger as negative. The classification performance suing the proposed method is about 72.6%. This may be promising performance in the human sensibility evaluation.
