A Study on the Service Provision Direction of the National Library for Children and Young Adults in the 5G Era

  • In order to establish a digital-based use environment for the provision of new information services suitable for the 5G era, it is necessary to discuss the direction of service provision by the National Library of Children and Young Adults in the 5G era. Based on utilization services in other fields, library services in the 5G era, including the development and provision of employee education and training services, ultra-high-definition and 360-degree realistic contents and education on library use, provision of multi-dimensional realistic media streaming broadcasting services, provision of telepresence education programs, activation of virtual communities, implementation of hologram performance halls/exhibit centers, and provision of unmanned book delivery services, environment monitoring, safety monitoring, and customized services, were proposed. In addition, based on 5G service, 5G technology, and library application direction, advancing into a producing and supporting base for ultra-realistic and immersive contents in the 5G era, strengthening online and mobile services in the non-contact era, and establishing a smart library environment were proposed as the service provision direction for the National Library of Children and Young Adults in the 5G era.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is a form of the emerging 4th industry in the 5G era. IoT is expected to develop naturally in our daily life in the 5G era in which high-speed communication will be completed. Along with the rise of IoT, concerns about security and malicious attacks are also increasing. This paper examines DoS attacks, which are one of the representative security threats of IoT and proposes a local detection and blocking system that are suitable for response to such attacks. First, systems of the LoRaWAN type, which are most actively researched in the IoT system field and DoS attacks that can occur in such systems were examined. Then, the inverse order tree algorithm using regional characteristics was designed as a cluster analysis form. Finally, a system capable of defending denial-of-service attacks in the 5G IoT system using local detection and blocking with the Euclidean distance was designed.

  • Looking at the surrounding environment in which we live, we are facing various situations in which new industries are emerging under the influence of ICT and at the same time, existing industries are combined with ICT technology. In addition, the network environment foretells a change from 4G to 5G. One of the things that is actively discussed during this 5G era is the smart factory. Faster transmission speeds are essential for the use of numerous data generated by various sensors used in smart factories. This study deals with smart factory technologies related to the 5G era. In addition to the various interpretations of smart factories, this study examined the situation and progress of smart factories in major countries around the world and described solutions.

  • In 2019, 5G mobile communication technology will be commercialized. From the viewpoint of technological innovation, 5G service can be applied to other industries or developed further. Therefore, it is important to measure the demand of the Internet of things (IoT) because it is predicted to be commercialized widely in the 5G era and its demand hugely effects on the economic value of 5G industry. In this paper, we applied Bayesian method on regression model to find out the demand of 5G IoT service, wearable service in particular. As a result, we confirmed that the Bayesian regression model is closer to the actual value than the existing regression model. These findings can be utilized for predicting future demand of new industries.

  • 우리는 5G 시대를 눈앞에 두고 있다. 5G는 더 빠른 것뿐만이 아니라, 더 저렴한 데이터 서비스를 제공하게 된다. 하지만 4G는 이동 통신망이 모바일 단말 간의 통신에 최적화된 망 구조였다면, 5G는 서로 다른 속성을 갖는 다양한 대상에게 서비스를 제공해주어야 한다. 이 환경에서 스마트폰을 기반으로 한 모바일 통신은 5G 통신망의 비주류 통신영역이 되며, 전체적인 할당량 또한 줄어들 것이다. 이때 통신망의 제약으로 인해 통화장애가 발생한다면 이를 효과적으로 관리하여 통화자체가 끊어지지 않도록 유지할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 VoIP를 기반으로 한 통화 트래픽 제어 전략을 제시한다. 5G의 빠른 속도와 VoIP의 음성코덱 제어를 통해 순간 통화 연결시도가 늘어 트래픽의 한계상황에서도 서비스가 끊어지지 않고 유지될 것이다.

  • The 5G mobile communication technologies have been extensively developed with the era of mobile broadband, but spectrum policy for this service has not yet set up. In this paper, We have investigated the 5G mobile service and analyzed the 5G spectrum policy taking the developing technologies into account. Based on the results of these analyses, We propose an expansion of spectrum sharing in the 3~5 GHz bands, spectrum harmonization of 5 GHz bands, and restructuring of spectrum management administration from currently three distributed management to centralized spectrum management structure.

  • In the era of the fourth revolution, interest in content production using proven engines in the broadcasting sector, such as Vizrt, is growing. The new visual effects required in the 5G era are critical to content production training. Vizrt has a good production time utility and affordability for broadcast and media content. In this paper, we are going to use this to present a practical case of the theorem and application of the basic training course in the production of virtual content, and to present the basic training direction. In the introduction, the graphic algorithm analyzed and studied the characteristics and environmental factors of the Vizrt engine. In this paper, the production process was studied separately, and the work carried out through engine implementation was presented. The VS Studio Foundation was provided as a practical production case at each stage. The Vizrt engine operator process is important in graphic approach and application, and through the results of the lecture, the method of understanding and implementing algorithms for virtual reality perspective suitable for basic learning was studied. Based on practice, the research method of main theory was to create Vizrt contents specialized in 5G contents work in each sector and to implement graphic production in new areas from contents image. Through this study, we came to the conclusion of the basic training method through virtual reality content work based on Vizrt by practicing content creation according to the subject. It also proposes the effect of creating Vizrt content and the direction of building Vizrt basic training courses.

핵심 잡지의 결정 요인에 관한 연구

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the factors determining core journals in a field based upon the results of the citation analysis of the journals in the field of Korean History(KH). In order to verify the determinant factors, dividing the articles of the KH journals into their novelty and author's seniority, the following hypotheses were established. Hypothesis 1: When a KH journal publishes more articles on prehistoric and ancient eras than others, the journal will have higher chance to be included in the core journals. Hypothesis 2: When a KH journal publishes more articles by senior researchers than others, the journal will have higher chance to be included in the core journals. To achieve the purpose, the cited articles found in the two sample journals, namely, Backsan Hakbo and Hanguksa Yongu were analysed during the past 20 years from 1962 to 1981. Applying the Hirst's Discipline Impact Factor method to the the study, Historical Science Impact Factor(HSIF) on the samples itself and the historical era dealt with in the articles and the seniority of the authors during every five-year period.   • At a time when the 5G era is advancing beyond commercialization, places that used to handle simple logistics warehouse tasks are transforming into smart logistics warehouses by combining IT convergence technology and platforms. Smart logistics warehouses can accurately predict demand and inventory of products with AI, deep learning, and robot technologies based on 5G, and provide information on warehousing and warehousing status in real time. As the e-commerce market grows, the smart logistics sector is also growing rapidly. This paper implements a smart logistics warehouse system and studies and proposes a method of establishing a fast and accurate logistics system by utilizing 5G-based Logistics Automation Robot.
