In 2013, for the 130th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Germany as well as the 50th anniversary of the dispatch of Korean workers to Germany, a survey on the recognition and preferences related to Bibimbab was carried out among students in Bayreuther, Germany majoring in hotel management who had not tried Korean food before. As part of the globalization of Korean food, 10 different foods that Germans might like were prepared, and the survey took place after food tasting. In the results, 44% of students noted that their first impression of Bibimbab was good, and impression was more favorable after tasting than before. The preference for nine foods other than Bibimbab was in order of Kimchi, Bulgogi, Mandu, Modum-jeon, Samgyetang, Gimbab, Japchae, Tteokbokki, and Sangchu-muchim. Students liked Bibimbab due to its healthiness, and most students showed interest in Korean food after tasting Bibimbab. To improve Bibimbab, most students answered diversifying sauces.

The Korean Geriatrics Society was founded on October 3, 1968. Over the 50 years since then, the Society has incessantly strived to stay attuned to the aging society and to achieve an increasingly greater research impact in the field of gerontology and geriatric medicine. The Society has passed through periods of preparation for a leap forward, followed by rapid growth, expansion, and maturity. As a result, the Society has gained a firm foothold at home and abroad as a leading research society for both qualitative and quantitative achievements in geriatric medicine. At this juncture, with an ultra-aging society being just around the corner, we are celebrating its 50th anniversary and anticipating our second half-century with great enthusiasm about our mission and role as a leading geriatric research organization.

대한지리학회가 1945년 9월 11일에 창립되어 50주년을 맞았다. 이를 기념하기 위하 여 국제지리학술대회를 1995년 10월 13일, 14일 이틀에 걸쳐 서울대학교 교수회관에서 개최 하기로 결정하였다. 이 대회에서 논의될 주제는 분단국토의 현실과 통일국토의 미래상, 21세 기 한국 지리학의 도전, 한국 지리학의 반세기-회고와 전망이라는 3가지가 중심이 된다. 이 번 학술대회를 통하여 2000년에 개최할 IGC서울대회를 성공적으로 이끌 역량을 축적하고, 지리학의 연구내용이 결국 인간생활의 질을 향상시키는데 기여해야만 학문적 영속성과 가치 를 인정받을 수 있다는 진실을 인식하는 계기가 되어야 한다.

Galliano's works showed at Dior Collection in 1997 which was held for the 50th anniversary of New Look got a good evaluation in the sense of expressing the modern taste as well as reflecting the spirit of Dior. The purpose of this study is focused on observing how to adapt the Dior's spirit. to Galliano's own design and what is the factor to let us feel his works modern. Galliano's fifty works in that Collection are analyzed by content analysis. The result is as followed : Galliano created his fabulous and modern works by four ways such as using various ethnic details, new way of fabric usage, new construction. and differentiated color harmony from Dior's. This result also includes the methodological model to adapt to design process.

October 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society (JKNS). Staring as official journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society (KNS) in 1972, JKNS is a journal that is listed in the science citation index (SCI) and its impact factor has been steadily rising in recent years. The past history of JKNS was reviewed with a focus on important milestone, and the direction of future development is suggested.

The addition of traditional elements can enhance the uniqueness of visual communication design. This paper briefly introduced visual communication and applications of traditional elements in visual communication design and applied paper cuts, a handmade graphic element, to the logo design of Dezhou University's 50th anniversary. The convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithm and the analytic hierarchy process method were applied to evaluation analysis and compared with the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. The results of the CNN algorithm on the test set verified its effectiveness. The evaluation results of the CNN algorithm were similar to the manual evaluation results, further proving the effectiveness and high efficiency of the CNN algorithm. The hierarchical analysis and the analysis of the assessment results of the CNN algorithm found that the two logo designs made full use of paper cuts.

This review is based on articles published in Japanese Journal of Health Physics on "Radiation-exposed medical care and waste" related to Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated (TEPCO)'s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident. Here, we have considered three original articles; one technical data, one special article, one 50^th anniversary article, one preface, three topics, and two cases of From Japan to the World (J to W). These articles have reported the system and standards that were established after the accident. Moreover, they have summarized rare experiences such as the fumbling response at the time and the evaluation of samples in that disaster. These articles constitute valuable records of the situation.

Purpose: This year 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Society of Nursing Science (KSNS). This study was aimed to explore development of caring and describe the 50 years of history of KSNS within the sociocultural context of Korea regarding academic footsteps, meanings, and implications for the future. Methods: This study used a historical research methodology using a literature review and bibliometric analysis. Relevant literature was reviewed and the published abstracts in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing (JKAN) were analyzed using VOSviewer. Results: Birth control and family planning in the 1970s was the main research topic. In the 1980s, the development of nursing concepts, theories, and philosophies was the mission of KSNS to extend the disciplinary boundary. In the 1990s, the progress of KSNS to become one of the woman-dominant healthcare professionals was the mission in the given period. Expanding the frontiers of KSNS to the extent of global standards was the undertaking of the nursing scholars in the 2000s. Lastly, in the 2010s, the quality and quantity improvement of KSNS and JKAN is expected to make our future even prosperous. The map visualization of the 50 years of research accumulation showed the comparable opposition of quantitative vs. qualitative research methodologies, equation modeling, and instrument development. Conclusion: These clusters of research demonstrates the efforts to make nursing evidence by Korean nursing scholars for the last five decades. The growth in the slope of KSNS and outcomes of JKAN are to carry on to an unimaginable extent in the future.

2022년은 유네스코 세계유산협약 50주년을 맞이하는 해이다. 이 논문은 유네스코 세계유산 협약 탄생 이후, 지난 50년 간 세계유산 제도의 변화와 발전 양상을 살펴보고, 세계유산의 현재와 과제를 고찰하고자 한다. 1972년 협약이 체결된 이후, 유네스코 세계유산 제도는 무력충돌/전쟁 및 자연재해로 인해 위험에 처한 각국의 유산을 보호하여 미래 세대에 인류의 자산을 전달하는 것을 우선시했다. 그리고 보호된 세계유산은 인류의 문화와 특정 시기를 대표하는 유산의 탁월한 보편적 가치(Outstanding Universal Value)를 전 세계에 알리는 문화외교관 역할을 담당하고 있다. 인류 공유유산(shared heritage)인 세계유산은 각국의 다양한 가치를 이해할 수 있는 문화 소통의 통로가 되었고, 상호존중을 바탕으로 하는 세계유산 협약은 유네스코 평화구축(peace-building) 정신을 효과적으로 전달하는 매개체가 되었다. 하지만 협약 50주년을 기념하는 현재, 세계유산 보호를 둘러싼 사회적, 정치적, 문화적 환경은 변화하여, 세계유산은 무력전쟁으로 인한 물리적 파괴의 위험에서 문화전쟁, 기억전쟁, 역사전쟁과 연관하여 다양한 이해 당사자 간의 유산 해석 관련한 분쟁의 중심에 서게 되었다. 이러한 변화에 주목하여, 이 논문은 세계유산 협약 체결 이후 50년 간 세계유산을 둘러싼 주요 논의 변화와 확장을 세계유산 이행지침(operational guidelines) 및 전문가 회의 내용을 중심으로 시기별 5단계로 나누고 새로운 쟁점을 정리하였다. 그리고 유네스코 관련 모든 출판물을 제공하는 유네스독(UNESDOC) 플랫폼을 통하여 세계유산 관련 학술회의 자료 등을 주제어로 분류하는 방법을 통해 50년 간 세계유산을 둘러싼 주요 주제어의 흐름을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 세계유산 등재의 초점 변화, 세계유산 보호 관점 변화 및 이해당사자에 대한 관점 변화에 따른 세계유산의 새로운 화두(세계유산의 해석 및 윤리, 기후변화, 인권)를 정리하였다.
