IoT is a new emerging technology to lead the $4^{th}$ industry renovation and has been widely used in industry and home to increase the quality of human being. In this paper, IoT based face detection and recognition system for a smart elevator is developed. Haar cascade classifier is used in a face detection system and a proposed PCA algorithm written in Python in the face recognition system is implemented to reduce the execution time and calculates the eigenfaces. SVM or Euclidean metric is used to recognize the faces detected in the face detection system. The proposed system runs on RaspberryPi 3. 200 sample images in ORL face database are used for training and 200 samples for testing. The simulation results show that the recognition rate is over 93% for PP+EU and over 96% for PP+SVM. The execution times of the proposed PCA and the conventional PCA are 0.11sec and 1.1sec respectively, so the proposed PCA is much faster than the conventional one. The proposed system can be suitable for an elevator monitoring system, real time home security system, etc.
The trade balance for the information and communications technology (ICT) industries in 2014 have reached 863 hundred million dollars as the main export products such as smart phone and semi-conductor increase, since the ICT industries have played an important role in economic growth in Korea. Until now, the consistent supporting of government and investment of company have been doing with the growth of ICT industries, as a result, Korea marked as the first in the UN electronic government preparing index, and rank 12 in the network preparing index through the policy of national information and basic plan of inter-industry convergence. However, as the unstable international economic circumstances, ICT industries is faced with the stagnation, and then preemptive development of products and services for ICT convergence industries is needed to continually get definite ICT Korea image. In this paper, the ICT convergence industry is analyzed and forecasted. In specific, the international and domestic market for cloud, 3D convergence, and internet of things is diagnosed. The market for ICT convergence industries is predicted to be 3.6 trillion dollar in the world, and 110 trillion won in domestic. From the analytical results for technology and services development, the preemptive supporting of the technology development and policy for the internet of things and 3D convergence industries is required. In addition to, through the future forecasting by socio-tech matrix method, the policy supporting for the ICT convergence area of healthcare, fintech, artificial intelligence, body platform, and human security is needed.

The human genome project decoded 99% of human genes for $ 3 billion by 1990-2003. However, as many studies on genes have progressed, it has become clear that there are many cases where diseases occur without structural alteration of genes. The latest study, Epigenetics, has come up with the answer to this problem. The famine that hit Jeju until 1670-1795, the ban on the exclusion of Jeju Island to the outside 200 years of suffering, and in 1948, one third of the citizens were killed by the 4.3 incident generate Epigenetic. It has been shown in the world history science that starving-stress can be manifested as obesity and disease in progeny due to hereditary phenomena. 5G-based healthcare IoT technology can be used for the treatment of obesity by enabling Epigenetic analysis of this phenomenon.
The innovative development of the 4th industry and the COVID-19 pandemic caused a great change in the education, eventually requiring elementary, middle and high schools, including kindergartens, to implement artificial intelligence(AI) education. However, since early childhood AI education is conducted in the form of results-oriented and special activities, the need for research on what early childhood AI education is and how to apply it to the Nuri curriculum has been raised. Accordingly, this study defined early childhood AI education through literature research, identified the contents of AI education, and organized and operated it in the Nuri curriculum. As a results, AI education for children should be conducted for the purpose of cultivating digital capabilities based on computing thinking skills, and computers, the Internet, and programs were extracted as sub-elements of child AI education contents. Two approaches were proposed to incorporate this into the Nuri curriculum. The first is to set each of the three AI education contents as a life theme, select sub-factors accordingly, and plan and implement activities suitable for each sub-factors. The second is to develop and operate AI education contents at the level of sub-educational activities in accordance with the life theme of the existing Nuri curriculum. It is hoped that this study will consider the characteristics of early childhood education and be organized in the Nuri curriculum to realize the true meaning of early childhood AI education, and more research on AI play education programs according to the five areas of the Nuri curriculum.

Cultural contents are the most important factor in high speed and high quality data communication. High-quality content includes VR and AR technology, and a variety of high-quality content can be streamed over wireless mobile phones via smartphones. In addition, network and wired/wireless communication are inevitably required in an Internet of Things (IoT) environment in which things are connected to a wireless Internet. IoT is used in various network technologies such as 4G, 5G mobile communication, WIFI wireless LAN, Bluetooth and so on. It is a technology that can use the connection between things anytime, anywhere, and can be achieved in a wireless mobile communication environment. Therefore, in this paper, we study data error compensation estimation method which can reduce data error based on mobile communication channel environment analysis so that high quality contents can be serviced even in high speed mobile environment.

This study is an empirical result for building an onboard communication network using metal surface wave communication and is a consideration of its application within the ship. Over the past three years, the applicability and the performance of metal surface wave communication has been confirmed by testing on five small and medium ships. In the tests, IEEE 802.11 protocol of Wi-Fi was used, and the signals were generated in the form of surface waves. Data was sent from AP to AP in the point-to-point form, and the transmission speed was measured at the same time. If necessary, additional repeaters were used to extend the transmission distance. As derived a transmission speed of 5 to 100 Mbps in wireless communication restricted areas of the 5 ships, it is believed that it is possible to reduce the weight of ships and costs by eliminating the communication cables by using surface wave communication as the back-bone network on ships.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies are perhaps the most prominent examples of wireless communication technologies used in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment. Compared to widely used Wi-Fi, Bluetooth technology has some flaws including 1:1 connection (one-way) between Master and Slave, slow transmission, and limited connection range; Bluetooth is mainly used for connecting audio devices. Since the release of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), some of the flaws of Bluetooth technology have been improved but it still failed to become a competitive alternative of Wi-Fi. This paper presents a method of data transmission through broadcasting in BLE and demonstrates its performance, one-to-many data transfer result. The Connection-Free Data Transmission proposed in this paper will hopefully be utilized in special circumstances requiring 1:N data transmission or disaster security network.

In industrial fields like big factories, efficient management of resources is critical in terms of time and expense. So, inefficient management of resources leads to additional costs. Nevertheless, in many cases, there is no proper system to manage resources. This study proposes a system to manage and track large-scale resources efficiently. We attached Bluetooth 5.0-based beacons to our target resources to track them in real time, and by saving their transportation data we can understand flows of resources. Also, we applied a diagonal survey method to estimate the location of beacons so we are able to build an efficient and accurate system. As a result, We achieve 47% more accurate results than traditional trilateration method.

With the recent increase in spending growth in the IoT sector worldwide, the importance of lightweight block ciphers to encrypt them is also increasing. The lightweight block cipher PIPO algorithm proposed in ICISC 2020 is an SPN-structured cipher using an unbalanced bridge structure. The white box attack model refers to a state in which an attacker may know the intermediate value of the encryption operation. As a technique to cope with this, Chow et al. proposed a white box implementation technique and applied it to DES and AES in 2002. In this paper, we propose a white box PIPO applying a white box implementation to a lightweight block cipher PIPO algorithm. In the white box PIPO, the size of the table decreased by about 5.8 times and the calculation time decreased by about 17 times compared to the white box AES proposed by Chow and others. In addition, white box PIPO was used for mobile security products, and experimental results for each test case according to the scope of application are presented.

With the development of water internet technology, data communication between objects is expanding. Research related to data communication technology between vehicles that incorporates related technologies into vehicles has been actively conducted. For data communication between mobile terminals, data stability, reliability, and real-time performance must be guaranteed. The 5 GHz Wi-Fi band, which is advantageous in bandwidth, communications speed, and wireless saturation of the wireless network, was selected as the data communications network between vehicles. This study analyzes how to design and implement a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network in a vehicle network. Considering the characteristics of the mobile communication terminal device, a continuous variable communications structure is proposed to enable high-speed data switching. We simplify the access point access procedure to reduce the latency between wireless terminals. By limiting the Transmission Control Protocol Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)-based Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server function and implementing it in a broadcast transmission protocol method, communication delay between terminal devices is improved. Compared to the general commercial Wi-Fi communication method, the connection operation and response speed have been improved by five seconds or more. Utilizing this method can be applied to various types of event data communication between vehicles. It can also be extended to wireless data-based intelligent road networks and systems for autonomous driving.
