4차 산업혁명 시대 Electronic Security 발전 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measures for the Development of Electronic Security in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era)

  • 지식정보사회 기반의 기술혁신은 현재 4차 산업혁명((4IR, Fourth Industrial Revolution)로 접어들면서 기존의 3차 산업혁명의 디지털 기술혁신을 기반으로 데이터의 적극적인 활용을 통한 융·복합적 인프라가 구축되면서 다양한 분야에서 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 창출하기 위한 혁신적 노력이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따른 보안영역도 3차 산업혁명과는 구별되어지는 핵심기술인 방대한 양의 비정형 데이터를 수집·분석·가공하여 얻어진 정형화된 데이터를 바탕으로 좀 더 정확하게 예측하여 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 가상물리보안시스템(CPSS, Cyber-Physical Security System)을 제안하여 Electronic Security 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다.

  • This paper aims to link the basic structure of the revolution to skill needs and further to education, although there are risks of thin discussion in each domain. Many writings describe or analyze the job characteristics related to the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution without discussing the interlinkage of the revolution. It attempts to give better understanding the whole features of the revolution and further discuss about challenge for innovative HRD. It overviews the technological competition in the $4^{th}$ IR, the change of work with skills need and the new labor and the change of education focusing on new competence. After that, it brings the challenges for innovative HRD.

4차 산업혁명 요소기술 집합체로써의 스마트팩토리 (Smart Factory as a Set of Essential Technologies of 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • Smart Factories could be regarded as a result of the integration of various key technologies of the fourth industrial revolutions. In smart factory, the IoT (Internet of things) is applied to capture the data generated by the production facility, store and analyze data generated in real time using Big Data technology. In addition, 3D printers are used to print expensive and complex parts, industrial robots supply materials and parts to the production site, store finished products in warehouses. In this paper, we introduced the definition of smart factory and change of job market. Also, we summarize several national policies to support enhancing transformation process of smart factory.

4차 산업혁명과 사회통합: OECD 회원국 종단분석(2006-2015) (The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Social Cohesion: Longitudinal Analysis for OECD Countries(2006-2015))

  • 본 연구의 목적은 4차 산업혁명 적응도가 사회통합 요인 중 하나인 공공 청렴도, 정치신뢰에 미치는 영향을 종단분석하는 것이다. 분석은 OECD 31개국 2006년에서 2015년 자료에 대해 잠재성장모형(LGM)을 적용하였다. 4차 산업혁명 적응도는 WEF(2016)를 활용하였으며 노동시장 유연성, 기술 혁신, 인프라, 법적 보호, 네 영역으로 구성된 지표를 분석에 투입하였다. 분석결과, 공공 청렴도는 4차 산업혁명 적응도 전체와 법적 보호 영역 중 사법부 독립성과 기업의 윤리적 행동의 영향을, 정치 신뢰는 법적 보호 영역 중 사법부 독립성의 영향을 유의하게 받았다. 이러한 분석 결과는 지금과 같은 추세로 변화해간다고 할 때는 4차 산업혁명의 추진이 사회통합에 큰 위협이 된다고 볼 수는 없으나, 다만 경제 과학기술의 영역의 촉진만이 아니라 법적 보호와 같은 사회적 영역에 대한 고려가 함께 병행될 때 가능할 것이라는 점을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 경제 산업 과학 분야 대비 사회정책 분야에서는 상대적으로 미흡한 4차 산업혁명 논의를 활성화하는 데 기여할 것으로 본다.

기술 모니터링을 통한 ICT 융합 R&D의 통시적 변화 분석 (Analysis of the diachronic change in the ICT convergence R&D through technology monitoring)

  • While the 4th Industrial Revolution (4th IR) is actively being discussed in Korea, the core and common point is that in the era of the 4th IR, computer networking is becoming more common due to the generalization of ICT(Information and Communication Technology). There may be a variety of factors that have allowed ICT to occupy a core position in the 4th IR, but the most important may be the position of ICT as a foundation technology. ICT has important technical value in itself, but when it is converged with other technology or industry, or when it acts as a foundation technology of such technology or industry, it greatly improves the value of existing technology or industry. Thus, this paper focused on ICT, the core technology of the 4th IR, to examine the past, present and future of ICT-related R&D and ICT-based convergence industries. In other words, the purpose of this study is to identify which areas ICT has been actively researched from past to present and what changes have been made in such areas.

  • 4차 산업혁명은 고도화된 정보기술과 지능기술로 촉발되는 초연결 기반의 지능화 혁명이라 할 수 있으며, 이러한 기술을 구현하기 위해 가장 기본이 되는 것은 '데이터'이다. 본 연구에서는 국방 영역에서 이러한 지능화 혁명을 이끌어 내기 위하여 데이터를 전략적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안에 대해 제안한다. 우선 국내외 동향 및 선행 연구 분석을 통해 시사점과 국방 데이터 관리의 현 실태를 분석하였으며, 4가지 발전방향을 제시하였다. 향후 국방의 환경을 고려한 국방 데이터의 구축, 개방, 공유, 유통, 융합 등의 전 수명주기관리에 대한 환경을 조성하고 활용할 수 있는 여건을 조성해 준다면 4차 산업혁명 시대 스마트 국방혁신을 통한 디지털 강군으로 재탄생하는 밑거름과 지름길이 될 것으로 기대된다.

A Study on the Countermeasures of Shipping and Port Logistics Industry in Responding to the Progression of Fourth Industrial Revolution

  • The presence of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is omniscient, led by full force emergence of technologies that make biological, physical, and digital worlds borderless. All industries which jump on the bandwagon, can observe convergence and merging of bushiness happening within, between and across industries. As the shipping and port logistics industry is said to be in eye of this storm, the purpose of this study is to investigate the shipping and port logistics industry's awareness regarding 4th IR, as well to identify necessary countermeasures in responding to progression of this trend. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology was then used to compare the importance of four phases of countermeasures, reviewed by experts in the field. Results showed that countermeasures should be first orchestrated to the 'Merging and Integration of Inter-industry', then followed by 'P reemptive Introduction of Advanced Technology', 'Expansion of Intra-industry Businesses', and eventually 'Automation, Unmanned Technology'. Last but not least, four phases of countermeasures which should be introduced and executed one phase after another, are outlined for the shipping and port logistics industry to boost its competitiveness in addressing this progressive trend.

Microprocessor On-line Contents using Simulator

  • With the advancement of the 4th Industrial Revolution(4IR), microprocessor education is on the rise due to the explosive demand for IoT (Internet of Things) and M2M devices. However, it is difficult due to many constraints to efficiently transfer training on hardware assembly and implementation through online training. Thus, we developed a cost-effective online content based on Arduino simulations, Atmel Studio 7, and WinAvr simulator that are required for the utilization of AVR 128. These Camtasia videos overcame the limitation of theory focused on-line education by visually introducing the practical utilization of an actual AVR 128. In this paper, the proposed educational content was provided to university students, and the results of student feedback show that it has a strong effect.

온도, 속도, 그리고 하중 변화에 따른 볼 베어링용 그리스의 수명평가 (Life Evaluation of Grease for Ball Bearings According to Temperature, Speed, and Load Changes)

  • Ball bearing is a device that supports and transmits a load acting on a rotating shaft, and it is a type of rolling bearings that uses the rolling friction of the balls by inserting balls between the inner ring and the outer ring. Grease, which is prepared by mixing a thickener with a base oil, is a lubricant commonly used in bearings and has the advantage of a simple structure and easy handling. Bearings are increasingly being used in high value-added products such as semiconductors, aviation, and robots in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Accordingly, there is an increasing demand for bearing grease. The selection of grease is an important factor in the bearing design. Therefore, a study must be conducted on the grease life evaluation to select an appropriate grease according to operating conditions such as a high temperature, high rotational speed, and high load. In this study, we evaluate the life of ball-bearing grease according to various operating conditions, namely, temperature, speed, and load changes. For this, we develop and theoretically verify a grease life test machine for ball bearings. We conduct a life test of grease according to various operating conditions of bearings and predict the grease life with a 10% and 50% failure probability using the Weibull analysis. In addition, we analyze the oxide characteristics of the grease over time using the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and the deterioration characteristics of the grease using the carbonyl index.
