It is so sensitive that the matter of compensation for private possessions caused in the course of public construction planning is very important. Especially, more logical planning is necessary when the dam be constructed, because it is mainly controlled by the surface of water, and if that planning is made public, artificial change is occurred in land use in that area for the purpose of rising the compensation. In this study, the plan for the application of aerial photo based ortho image was drew up for solving these problems and for the rational, rapid compensation. Ortho image was made by aerial photo, used as reading material for the change in land use. The modeling of drainage basin, came under the planning surface of water, and the 3D simulation were performed for the scene analysis, the change understanding in land use for a lot number in a certain period by overlapping the digital image, the digital land registration map, and the digital topography map as well as the analysis of the admitted land followed by the height of reservoir water.

Capacitor switching is essential for the economic operation and proper voltage control of KOREA electric utility distribution system. Voltage transients produced by capacitor switching (around 2.0 per unit at substation and 2.5 or less per unit at customer site, and lasting less then 1[ms]) do not have the magnitude or duration to interfere with the operation of computers, but they do disrupt the operation of adjustable speed drivers. The result of our research, ASD manufacturers should learn from the computer industry and design products that will operate satisfactory In the electrical envelopment in which they will be placed. In this case history, the inductors on the input to ADSs in order to prevent nuisance tripping from capacitor switching(and other causes within the apartment) proved to be an effective, low-cost solution.

The assessment of maneuverability of a ship is very important from the view point of safety of human beings and of pollution of ocean. And, it is quite natural that every ship yard wants to have some tools with which they can build a ship with good maneuverability. But, maneuvarability of a ship is very subtle problem, and to calculate the exact maneuvering motion, lots of captive model tests must be carried out. Futhermore, in the initial design stage we can not make the scale model, because the lines of a ship is not fixed. In this paper, some approximate method to calculate the maneuvering motion of a ship, with the principal dimensions of hull, and propeller, rudder characteristics only, is studied. And, proposed approximate method is used to calculate the turning and zig-zag maneuver of several ships. The results of those calculations and the usability of the method are discussed.
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between spatial-erceptual ability and several aspects of driving-related situation awareness(in particular, recognition and prediction). Video clips of real driving were used in both recognition and prediction tasks, and the digit calculation task during driving the simulator was required as the integration task of recognition and prediction. The results showed that the subjects of higher spatial-perceptual ability performed better in recognition task, especially in terms of sensitivity measured in d'(as signal detection theory), prediction task, and digits calculation performance than those of lower spatial-perceptual ability.
Mathematical modeling is the process of representing physical phenomena using equations, and it often describes various scientific phenomena through differential equations. Numerical analysis, which is capable of approximating solutions to partial differential equations representing physical phenomena, is widely utilized. However, in high-dimensional or nonlinear systems, computational costs can substantially increase, leading to potential numerical instability or convergence issues. Recently, Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) have emerged as an alternative approach. A PINN leverages physical laws even with limited data to provide highly reliable predictive performance and can address the convergence issues and high computational costs associated with numerical analysis. This paper analyzes the weak signals, research trends, patent trends, and case studies of PINNs. On the basis of this analysis, it proposes directions for the development of PINN techniques in the agricultural field. In particular, the application of PINNs in agriculture is expected to be more effective than in other industries because of their ability to reflect real-time changes in biological processes. While the technology readiness level of PINNs remains low, the potential for model training with minimal data and real-time prediction capabilities suggests that PINNs could replace traditional numerical analysis models. It is anticipated that the research and industrial applications of PINN will develop at an increasing pace while focusing on addressing the complexity of mathematical models in agriculture, mathematical modeling and the application of various biological processes; securing key patents related to PINNs; and standardizing PINN technology in the field of agriculture.
Since 2011, DCF(Discounted Cash Flow) method has been used initiatively for valuating R&D technology assets in the agricultural food industry and recently technology valuation based on royalties comparison among technology transfer transactions has been also carried out in parallel when evaluating the technology assets such as new seed development technologies. Since the DCF method which has been known until now has many input variables to be estimated, sophisticated estimation has been demanded at the time of technology valuation. In addition, considering more similar trading cases when applying sales transaction comparison or industry norm method based on information of technology transfer royalty, it is an important issue that should be taken into account in the same way in the Agri-Food industry. The main input variables used for technology valuation in the Agri-Food industry are life cycle of technology asset, the financial information related to the Agri-Food industry, discount rate, and technology contribution rate. The latest infrastructure building and data updating related to technology valuation has been carried out on a regular basis in the evaluation organization of the Agri-Food segment. This study verifies the key variables that give the most important impact on the results for the existing technology valuation in the Agri-Food industry and clarifies the difference between the existing valuation result and the outcome by referring the support information that is derived through the latest input information applied in DCF method. In addition, while presenting the scheme to complement fragment information which the latest input data just influence result of technology valuation, we tried to perform comparative analysis between the existing valuation results and the evaluated outcome after the latest of reference data for making a decision the input values to be estimated in DCF. To perform these analyzes, it was first selected the representative cases evaluated past in the Agri-Food industry, applied a sensitivity analysis for input variables based on these selected cases, and then executed a simulation analysis utilizing the key input variables derived from sensitivity analysis. The results of this study is to provide the information which there are the need for modernization of the data related to the input variables that are utilized during valuating technology assets in the Agri-Food sector and for building the infrastructure of the key input variables in DCF. Therefore it is expected to provide more fruitful information about the results of valuation.

The field surveys and the measurements of seawater temperatures were conducted every month from 1997 to 1999, and the distributions of seawater temperature were simulated and reproduced by a three dimensional hydrodynamic numerical model over the southern waters of Cheju island. In order to estimate the marine environmental capacity for the reception of the heat loads of cooling water discharged from Hwasoon Thermal Power Plant(HTPP) in the study area, the simulations for predicting the situation of unfavorable environment in which marine organisms might not be satisfied with change in seawater temperature were peformed using a three dimensional hydrodynamic numerical model by controlling quantitatively the heat loads of cooling water from HTPP Currently, HTPP discharges cooling water of 35.9℃ into the sea as much as 112,800m³/day in summer. As the results of simulations, the more the heat loads from the power plant increase, the more increase the seawater temperatures around the water areas adjacent to the power plant. In case the heat loads of cooling water from HTPP become about 5 times as high as the present loads, seawater temperatures at near-shore waters adjacent to HTPP appear to be increased to the extent of 0.5℃ above the existing seawater temperature in summer. The marine environmental capacity for the reception of thermal discharge from HTPP is estimated to be about 530×10/sup 6/kcal/day which is equivalent to the increase of a factor of 2 in the temperature of cooling water without any change in the discharge rate of cooling water or which is equivalent to the increase of a factor of 4.6 in the discharge rate of cooling water without any change in the temperature of cooling water. Comparing the case of the increase in the discharge rate of cooling water with the case of the increase in the temperature of cooling water on the basis of the same heat loads of 530×10/sup 6/kal/day, the former case is expected to increase seawater temperature a little higher and to extend the area affected by heat loads a little broader.
In the field of radiation therapy using photon beams and electron beams, since each patient has a different sensitivity to radiation, skin side effects may occur even at the same dose. Therefore, if there is a risk of excessive dose to the skin, a dosimeter is attached to verify whether the correct dose is being investigated. However, since the skin dosimeter checks the attachment site visually by measuring a point dose, it is difficult to confirm an accurate dose distribution. As a result, the measurement and simulation errors of the material HgI2 in the 6 MV photon beam were 3.73% and 5.24%, respectively, at the minimum thickness of 25 ㎛, and the material PbI2 was 4.73% and 5.65%, respectively. On the other hand, as a result of the 6 MeV electron beam, the measurement and simulation errors of the material HgI2 were 1.35% and 1.12%, respectively, at a minimum thickness of 25 ㎛, and the material PbI2 showed relatively low attenuation error, 1.67% and 1.20%, respectively. Therefore, it was evaluated that the thickness of the photon beam within 25 ㎛ and the electron beam within 100 ㎛ is suitable to have a reduction rate error within 5%. This study presents a new research direction for a flexible dosimeter attached to the human body that is required in clinical practice and the construction conditions of a future skin dosimeter.

In this paper, we propose an image downscaler used in multimedia video applications, such as DTV, TV-PIP, PC-video, camcorder, videophone and so on. The proposed image downscaler provides a scaled image of high-quality and high-performance. This paper will explain the scaling theory using two-dimensional digital filters. It is the method that removes an aliasing noise and decreases the hardware complexity, compared with Pixel-drop and Upsamling. Also, this paper will prove it improves scaling precisians and decreases the loss of data, compared with the Scaler32, the Bt829 of Brooktree, and the SAA7114H of Philips. The proposed downscaler consists of the following four blocks: line memory, vertical scaler, horizontal scaler, and FIFO memory. In order to reduce the hardware complexity, the using digital filters are implemented by the multiplexer-adder type scheme and their all the coefficients can be simply implemented by using shifters and adders. It also decreases the loss of high frequency data because it provides the wider BW of 6MHz as adding the compensation filter. The proposed downscaler is modeled by using the Verilog-HDL and the model is verified by using the Cadence simulator. After the verification is done, the model is synthesized into gates by using the Synopsys. The synthesized downscaler is Placed and routed by the Mentor with the IDEC-C632 0.65${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ library for further IC implementation. The IC master is fixed in size by 4,500${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$$\times$4,500${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. The active layout size of the proposed downscaler is 2,528${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$$\times$3,237${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.
